However, it typically suffers from an ac discretization error problem in digital implementation. The impact of unit delay in cross feedback to break algebraic loops in digital implementation is investigated in this paper, and it is discovered that uncompensated delay causes steady-state errors even if individual second-order generalized integrator-quadrature signal generator (SOGI-QSG) discretization is accurate. Based on the findings, a simple and effective rotational transformation-based compensation method is proposed, which considerably enhances the accuracy of signal extraction and frequency estimation when used in conjunction with a frequency-locked loop (FLL). The proposed method is validated through experimental results.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132166065","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current quality assurance methods (e.g. spectroscopy) are offline, invasive, costly, and slow making adulteration detection inefficient. Herein, a non-invasive capacitive detection scheme is used. The differences in the dielectric properties of mixed oils in a capacitive field form the basis for screening EVOO-filled containers non-invasively for adulteration without sample extraction. The sensor showed a fast response (100 ms) and good detection limits towards different adulterants (canola oil (46%), soy oil (17%) and castor oil (6%)), which is suitable for high-throughput inspection.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128994664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed NPC inverter is working in current control mode, and the switching pulses are configured by the PI current controller. In addition, the proposed inverter uses the phase-locked loop approach to work in parallel with the utility network. The proposed inverter executes the maximum power from the PV panels without the use of any further DC-DC converter. The artificial neural network (ANN) maximum power point tracking method (MPPT) was used to Figure out the current reference for the current controller. The simulation results show grid voltage and inverter current are both in phase with each other, which means there is a unity power factor. Total harmonic distortion (THD) for the inverter’s injected current is 2.9%. This percentage is within the range of standards, less than (5%).","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129373242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The internal structure, performances, and technical features of SC’s are compared with lithium-ion batteries. This comparison will address some remarkable shortcomings of lithium-ion battery systems. Furthermore, some weakness and limited performances of SC’s are also identified and the solution are presented. Proposed SC-based smart watch circuit diagram is promoted as well. The purpose of this article is to propose the substitution of SC’s rather than li-ion batteries in portable gadgets that do not use power continuously during the day.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123063808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the critical aspects is a flexible and optimised production planning and scheduling system. An efficient scheduling system can minimise the production cost and maximise machine utilization, leading to improvement in the production rate. In this study, we design an ensemble-based Harris’ Hawk optimisers (EN-HHO) to address the multi-objective flexible job shop problem (MOFJSP), which is an NP-hard and complex combinatorial task. The developed ensemble model is evaluated using well-known benchmark problems, and the results compare favourably with those from similar methods in the literature.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125387044","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system adopts a three-coil structure, which can effectively suppress the reduction of mutual inductance. In addition, the system adopts an improved S/SP compensation topology, and the compensation parameters are reasonably designed, which reduces the sensitivity of the system output to the mutual inductance and improves the anti-offset capability of the system. The system uses DD coils to transmit and receive data on both the primary and secondary sides to reduce the influence of power on the data and improve its reliability of the data. Then, a 100W prototype is designed, which has high misalignment tolerance and can transfer correct data simultaneously, and its rate reaches 1Mb/s. This prototype verifies the feasibility of the scheme.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123767416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These SMDs provide certain overview features to ordinary state machines, such as by providing orthogonal states and hierarchical nesting of subsystem SMDs. Despite these overview aspects, designing SMDs remains a relatively lower-level procedure. We propose to create a formal high-level overview diagram for SMDs, derived from the well-established rules of structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) process algebra. The proposed approach provides rules for transforming a low-level event transition graph (ETG) from a high-level ETG overview diagram (EOD). The smooth integration of a high-level representation with its precise low-level semantic meaning offers a new way to design and represent UML SMDs.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128184968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This changing nature of distribution networks calls for the development of static and dynamic tools that can accurately capture distribution networks’ behavior. This paper presents a transmission and distribution (T& D) co-simulation tool that interfaces MATPOWER and OPENDSS to perform snapshot analysis in an integrated manner. The developed co-simulation tool uses a loose coupling protocol at the point of common coupling (PCC) between transmission and distribution networks. The transmission system operator (TSO) can use the tool to perform load flow considering the distribution network model. The distribution system operator (DSO) can use this tool to capture the impact of transmission side changes on the distribution network. The developed tool also consists of a voltage stability assessment framework to identify the most critical transmission bus and posesses ability to quantity the criticality of downstream distribution feeders. Moreover, the tool allows computing the DER hosting capacity of downstream distribution feeders to determine the criticality of feeders in adding more renewable energy. The performance and features of the developed tool are demonstrated with case studies using integrated T& D test system considering IEEE transmission and distribution networks with DER penetration.","PeriodicalId":197307,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Industrial Electronics and Applications Conference (IEACon)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127273920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
