Then the issues for efficient QoS support is explained and the brief of scheduling algorithms is represented to overcome these issues. The problem of First Story Detection is to identify first stories about different events from streaming documents. The Locality sensitive hashing algorithm is the traditional approach used for First Story Detection. The documents have a high degree of lexical variation which makes First Story Detection a very difficult task. This work uses Twitter as the data source to address the problem of real-time First Story Detection. As twitter data contains a lot of spam, we built a dictionary of words to remove spam from the tweets. Further since the Twitter streaming data rate is high, we cannot use traditional Locality sensitive hashing algorithm to detect the first stories. We modify the Locality sensitive hashing algorithm to overcome this limitation while maintaining reasonable accuracy with improved performance. The partial differential equation can be solved by many numerical method such as finite difference method, finite volume method, finite element method etc. These methods require heavy computation to solve the system of algebraic equations. Graphics processing unit (GPU) can be used to handle the computation of CPU as a co-processor so the GPU will save a lot of time for computation. The dominant proprietary framework for GPU computing is CUDA, provided by NVidia. It can be used to solve computation intensive task. Using GSM module, it is a very effective and accurate techniques to transmit useful information. That information contains the parameters such as temperature and humidity of the medium. For sensing the temperature a thermistor has been used, which is a low cost device having temperature range -110°F to 500°F. This is one of the most sensitive sensors and exhibits a large range of change in the temperature. HR202, is an organic macromolecule material, which is used for sensing humidity of the medium. A cell phone is needed at the receiver's end which is used to get the value of the parameters. For controlling the system a microcontroller has been used with which every sensor and GSM module has been connected. Whenever, in the real time, the value of a parameter changes, a message is automatically sent to the predefined numbers containing the value of the parameters. One can also receive the details of parameters such as temperature and humidity by just giving a call to the GSM in which a SIM card has been inserted. The ability to have someone monitor the parameters around the clock is the best thing that this system can do. Digital watermarking is used to copyright protection. Any digital object can be used as a carrier to transmit information. If the info is related to object then it is known as a watermark which can be invisible or visible. The exchanging of digital content such as images is rapidly growing on computer networks. Safety and security of digital data, particularly in medical images, becomes important for many causes such as confidentiality, integrity and authentication. Presently, the most appropriate method for the exchange of medical images rest in cryptography but, once decrypted, the image is no longer protected and can be copied, duplicated, distributed and falsified simply. In the world of digital information, there are multiple danger zones like integrity damages and copyright, of digital object. In case of any dispute during rights violation, content maker can demonstrate his ownership by recovering the watermark. This way, digital watermarking has speedily appeared as a new advanced technology to boost the security of digital images. Actually, the inclusion of a watermark in a medical image can validate it and guarantee its reliability. The watermark should be unremarkably hidden does not affect the feature of the medical image. Two most important prerequisites for an efficient watermarking technique are robustness and security. Watermark must be robust and recoverable even if a part of content is altered by one or more attacks like resizing, compression, filtering, geometric distortions, etc. Due to its rising popularity, the Discrete Wavelet Transform is commonly used in recent watermarking techniques. In our work first we encrypt the watermark image using a random key after that In a Discrete Wavelet Transform based technique, the DWT coefficients are altered with the data that delineate the watermark. In this article, we present a combined two label DWT and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) based technique. After decomposing the cover digital image into four bands LL, LH, HL, and HH where LL represents the coarse level coefficient which is the low frequency part of the image and LH, HL, and HH denote the finest scale wavelet coefficient, we tend to apply the SVD to each band, and insert the same watermark data via renovating the singular values. Defected patch and ground design is used to achieve wide band. The proposed antenna is designed on FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.9 and thickness 1 mm and its overall size is 17 × 17 × 1.07 mm3 with patch size 13 × 11 × 0.035 mm3. The results of proposed antennas like return loss, VSWR and radiation pattern (gain, directivity and efficiency) are simulated and analyzed using commercial computer simulation technology microwave studio (CST MWS). By simulating this antenna structure using above EM tool we are getting one wide band from 15.27 to 16.51 GHz with resonant frequency at 15.8 GHz. Return loss at this frequency is -25 dB. Gain and directivity at the resonant frequency are 4.45 dB and 5.17 dBi respectively. Radiation efficiency of this antenna is 84.8%. The VSWR ≤ 1.1 for the resonant frequency. The low profile nature and simple configuration of antennas show the way to easy fabrication. Even though with the sophistication of the recently developed techniques, most algorithms fails to achieve desirable level of performance. Most algorithm fails because the practical model does not matches the algorithm assumptions taken at the time of development. This paper presents an efficient approach for the image denoising based on curvelet transform and the Bayesian Network. The proposed technique utilizes the statistical dependencies in the curvelet domain to train the Bayesian Network which is then used for predicting the noise probability. The curvelet transform provides better approximation especially in directional discontinuities which makes it preferable for processing the pixels around the edges. The approach is based on using differential mean value theorem based observer design technique for chaotic system synchronization purpose. Here, by using a differential mean value theorem, nonlinear observer estimation error dynamics is transformed into a linear parameter varying system and sufficient condition for error convergence is derived using a quadratic Lyapunov function which is nonlinear matrix inequality with time varying parameters. The derived sufficient condition is then reformulated as a set of linear matrix inequalities using convexity principle and solved with MATLAB LMI toolbox. In the proposed scheme, security is enhanced by using multi-shift ciphering for information encryption and the key used for ciphering is one of the states of a chaotic system. The estimate of key is obtained by using differential mean value theorem based observer and used to recover encrypted data at the receiver side. In Semantic web each resources and services is annotated with the help of web ontology language (OWL). Resource description framework (RDF) represents the web information into its properties and values. Resource description framework schema (RDFS) represents information resources into classes and properties are defined with the help of these classes. In this paper we create university ontology with the help of protégé 4.3 alpha tool. We have proposed information retrieval framework that produce results with better precision, recall and information overkill. With the help of Jena semantic framework and pellet reasoner tools we analyze that OWL inference provide more relevant information compared to None, RDF and RDFS. We have developed five university domain ontologies but presented the result only for two ontologies.
