Automatic speech recognition (ASR) cloud system of Department of Electronic and Multimedia Telecom-munication (KEMT) of The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Technical University of Košice (FEI TU) is used as a base of this archive. ASR cloud system do speech-to-text recognition of received audio stream and outputs time aligned words and sentences. Purpose of the ISADA system is to annotate inserted media (audio or video) and search in previously annotated media. ISADA is an automatic software that performs all necessary steps to annotate media including file upload and media presentation on the web. Whole concept of ISADA will be described in this paper.","PeriodicalId":193275,"journal":{"name":"2015 25th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122919756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the designing of analog circuits, electronic design automation tools need to be equipped with state-of-the-art efficient circuit analysis and optimization techniques. In this paper, a novel approach to optimize analog circuits (for gain, bandwidth and slew rate) is proposed using adjoint circuit analysis method. In this method an adjoint network of the original electrical (or electronic) circuit is constructed by using linearized circuit of the original electrical network in which MOS transistors are replaced by their small signal model. The objective function need to be analyzed for the optimization of analog circuit is evaluated using linearized circuit and its adjoint network (circuit) along with steepest descent method to find the next set of design parameters to optimize circuit in the design space. Barzilai and Borwein method is used to find the direction of design parameter vector during circuit optimization process. In this paper a basic cascode amplifier circuit has been designed at 180nm technology to prove the correctness of proposed method. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed approach, a two-stage operational amplifier circuit is also designed for gain optimization subject to a variety of design conditions and constraints. The solution of these circuits, designed with the optimized parameters calculated using our proposed method, matches with the solution of cascode amplifier and two-stage operational amplifier circuits designed using Mentor Graphics tool Pyxis (Eldo).","PeriodicalId":193275,"journal":{"name":"2015 25th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126661619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Automatic speech segmentation has been developed and used in Praat using a plugin called EasyAlign, which requires and input text (separated sentences) and clean audio recordings with quiet pauses between the sentences to operate. In this paper, a new functions will be evaluated and implemented into Praat to improve automatic speech segmentation processes and enables to process also noisy audio recordings with no input texts available. One of them is using also our own cloud based ASR (Automatic Speech recognition) solution developed. The results of the automatic speech recognition and different audio processing (noise-gate, de-noiser, normalization) were added into the Praat system to expand the EasyAlign functionality and improve the resulted automatic speech segmentation. The graphical output of the Praat also helps to visualize the automatic speech segmentation and also automatic speech recognition results for educational and system developers subjective evaluation purposes.","PeriodicalId":193275,"journal":{"name":"2015 25th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127126092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the appropriate frequency bands (licensed and unlicensed) for data transmission by these standards are very limited. The rising density of wireless networks and their coexistence in the same or adjacent radio frequency (RF) spectrum can significantly decrease the quality of provided services. This paper deals with the study of coexistence between ZigBee (IEEE 802.15.4) and Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) networks, including the IEEE 802.11b/g standards, which operate in the unlicensed Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) band at 2.4 GHz. Firstly, a general simulation model was developed. Secondly, to verify results from simulation by measurement, an appropriate laboratory workplace in anechoic chamber was proposed and realized. Such setup and the measurement principle are briefly described in this paper too. Impact of the IEEE 802.11b/g networks on the ZigBee and vice versa is evaluated by dependence of bit error rate (BER) and error vector magnitude (EVM) on the power imbalance between power levels of considered RF signals, respectively.","PeriodicalId":193275,"journal":{"name":"2015 25th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"137 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130591338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
