Serangan penyakit bercak merah ( Motile Aeromonas Septicemia )   masih merupakan kendala dalam budidaya ikan tersebut.  Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh bakteri genus Aeromonas, antara lain  Aeromonas hydrophila .  Untuk mengatasi infeksi bakteri tersebut dimungkinkan untuk menggunakan bahan herbal.  Kulit batang kelor merupakan bahan herbal yang berpotensi sebagai antibakteri.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh  ekstrak kulit batang kelor terhadap status kesehatan dan kelulushidupan  ikan mas yang diinfeksi  A. hydrophila .   Ikan uji  yang digunakan adalah 120 ekor dengan rata-rata bobot 13,58 ± 2,83 g dan rata - rata panjang 9,93± 0,72 cm yang di infeksi A. hydrophila sebanyak 0,1 mL secara intramuscular dengan kepadatan bakteri 10 7 CFU/mL. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap 4 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah perendaman ekstrak kulit batang kelor dengan konsentrasi 0 mg/L ( perlakuan A), 1000 mg/L (perlakuan B ), 2000 mg/L (perlakuan C ) dan 3000 mg/L (perlakuan D).  Metode perendaman yang digunakan adalah  long bath selama 2 jam.  Perendaman dilakukan setelah gejala klinis dari infeksi A. hydrophila muncul.  Data status kesehatan yang diamati meliputi kelulushidupan, eritrosit, leukosit dan hematokrit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman ekstrak kulit batang kelor berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelulushidupan,  eritrosit, leukosit dan hemoglobin  ikan mas (P 0.05).  Kosentrasi  ekstrak kulit batang kelor  1000 - 3000 mg/L dapat digunakan untuk mengobati ikan mas yang terinfeksi bakteri A. hydrophila. Kelulushidupan tertinggi  83,3± 5,77% dicapai pada perendaman 3000 mg/L. Oleh karena itu perendaman ekstrak kulit batang kelor dengan konsentrasi ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kelulushidupan  ikan mas yang terinfeksi A.hydrophila. Carp is a  freshwater fish with high economic value that is common ly cultivated. One of the constraints in the cultivation is disease outbreaks cause by Aeromonas hidrophila. Moringa is a plant that has a potential antibacterial agent. Its skin stem can be used as antibacterial agent for Aeromonas hydrophila. This research was aimed to observe the performance of moringa skin stem extract to infected carps according to their survival rate and blood profile. Randomized experimental design was implemented to 120 fishes with average weight 13.59 ± 2.83 g and treated in 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The moringa skin stem extract were A (0 mg / L), B (1000 mg / L), C (2000 mg / L) and D (3000 mg /L) and immersed for 2 hours. Experimental carps were infected with 0.1 mL A. hidrophila at concentration of 10 7 CFU/mL pour to treatment until appeared clinical sign. The result showed that moringa stem skin extract immersion significantly (P<0.05) improved the survival rate and blood profile, such as leucocytes of experimental carps. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2019 hingga Januari 2020 di PPN Pengambengan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan dua metode; pertama metode deskriptif yaitu untuk menganalisis aktivitas operasional dan penilaian kinerja operasional berdasarkan Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Perikanan Tangkap tahun 2015 Nomor 20/KEP-DJPT/ 2015; kedua metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penentu kinerja PPN Pengambengan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas operasional PPN Pengambengan terus mengalami peningkatan. Kunjungan kapal pada tahun 2019 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 17,83% dibandingkan tahun 2018. Pendaratan ikan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 88%. Total pendaratan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 99,60 %. Penilaian kinerja terhadap 27 kriteria berdasarkan pedoman yang ditetapkan Direktur Jenderal Perikanan Tangkap tahun 2015 menunjukkan bahwa kinerja operasional PPN Pengambengan adalah sebesar 84,25 – 87,50. Selama Oktober 2019 dan November 2019 kinerja sangat baik, untuk Desember 2019 dan Januari 2020 berkinerja Baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian SEM, pelayanan PPN mempunyai pengaruh paling besar terhadap kinerja PPN. Hal ini ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi pelayanan PPN maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja PPN. This research is purposed to analyze operational activities and determinants of the performance of NFP Pengambengan. This research was conducted in October 2019 to January 2020 in NFP Pengambengan. Data analysis is performed using two methods; the first is a descriptive method to analyze operational activities and assess the operational performance of NFP Pengambengan based on the guidelines in the Decree of the Director General of Capture Fisheries in 2015 Number 20/KEP-DJPT/2015; the second is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method, which is to determine the determinants of the NFP Pengambengan performance. The results of this study indicate that the NFP Pengambengan operational activities continue to increase. Ship visits in 2019 have increased by 17.83% compared to 2018. Fish landings increased by 88%.  The total landing also increased as many as  99.60%. Based on test results, it's stated tha the value of the NFP Pengambengan performance is 84.25 - 87.50. The performance evaluation of 27 criteria based on guidelines issued by the Director General of Capture of Fisheries in 2015 showed that the operational performance of the NFP Pengambengan during October 2019 and November 2019 was very well performed, while for December 2019 and January 2020 it was categorized as well performed. Based on SEM test results, the NFP service has the most influence on NFP performance. This research aimed to study the the nitrogen concentration in coral and to analyze the influence of nitrogen fixing bacteria on the concentration of nitrogen in coral. The research was carried out by field observation, by taking coral reef samples and analyzed in the laboratory for its nitrogen concentration and number of nitrogen fixing bacteria. Data analysis was carried out by ANOVA and regression. The analysis resulted that there was a significant difference of nitrogen concentration in massive and branching corals. However, there is no significant correlation between the sampling location and types of coral on the density of nitrogen fixing bacteria, both Nitrosomonas sp. and Nitrobacter sp. Regression analysis showed that the concentration of nitrogen in coral tissue was not significantly related to the density of nitrogen fixing bacteria. Sumber cahayanya sangat beragam, mulai dari petromaks, lampu pijar, lampu neon dan mercury. Nelayan terpaksa mulai meninggalkan pengunaan keempat lampu karena bahan bakar sebagai sumber energinya sangat mahal. Jenis sumber cahaya yang sangat berpeluang besar dikembangkan adalah lampu LED, karena lebih hemat energi, ramah lingkungan dan tahan lama. Uji coba lampu LED jenis HPL pernah dilakukan pada perikanan bagan tancap. Hasilnya membuktikan bahwa bagan yang mengoperasikan lampu HPL mendapatkan berat tangkapan 2 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bagan nelayan yang menggunakan lampu neon. Penelitian dilakukan untuk memperbaiki konstruksi penelitian sebelumnya agar pancaran cahayanya semakin luas. Selanjutnya, berat hasil tangkapan bagan apung yang mengoperasikan lampu berbeda dibandingkan. Tujuannya adalah untuk membuktikan bahwa penggunaan lampu konstruksi baru dapat meningkatkan berat hasil tangkapan bagan, tanpa mengurangi komposisi jenisnya. Hasilnya adalah berat total hasil tangkapan bagan yang mengoperasikan lampu dengan konstruksi baru mencapai 1494 kg yang didominasi oleh hasil tangkapan utama seberat 847 kg dan sampingan 647 kg, atau lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil tangkapan total lampu konstruksi lama 788 kg  (433 kg; 355 kg). Komposisi jenis hasil tangkapan kedua lampu terdiri atas delapan jenis organisme yang sama, yaitu teri putih ( Stolephorus buccaneeri ), teri jengki, teri hitam, teri paku ( Stolephorus indicus ), cumi-cumi ( Loligo sp.), pepetek ( Leiognathus sp. ), selar kuning ( Selaroides leptolepis ) dan tembang ( Sardinella fimbriata ). Light is the main fish aggregat device on the lift net fishing as fish collector. The source of light is various, i.e. petromaks, fluorescent lamp, neon lamp, and mercury. The fisherman is forced to abandon the use of the lamps because the fuel cost is high. The kind of light sources that have big opportunity to be developed is LED because it is lower energy, enviromentally friendly, and durable. The trials of HPL lamp had been carried out on the lift net fishing. The result showed that the weight of fish catches on the lift net with HPL lamp was higher twice than lift net with neon lamp. The research handled to fix the contruction on the previous research was carried out to make the emission of the light widen. Then, the weight of fish catches on the lift net with different lamp could be compared. This research aimed to prove the use of lamp with new contruction could increase the weight of fish catches on the lift net without decreasing the species composition. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi potensi lokal dan menganalisis kesesuaian antara permintaan ( demand ) wisata dengan penawaran ( supply ) potensi wisata lokal di Pulau Pramuka. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2019. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis supply - demand . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi wisata yang dimiliki Pulau Pramuka meliputi atraksi wisata alam dan buatan, kuliner dan souvenir khas, aksesibilitas dan transportasi yang mudah, fasilitas lengkap, serta adanya peran dari pemerintah dan masyarat dalam pengembangan pariwisata. Permintaan wisata dengan potensi wisata terjadi ketidaksesuaian disebabkan oleh kurangnya penambahan hewan di penangkaran, penambahan atraksi wisata air dan area bermain bagi wisatawan, tidak tersedianya wisata pada malam hari, peningkatan kenyamanan transportasi, wifi corner , spot foto, kebersihan dan jumlah fasilitas wisata serta kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan daerah wisata Pulau Pramuka. Pulau Pramuka as a zone of housing site in a national park of Kepulauan Seribu having a natural beauty whose potential for the development of maritime tourism. The research objective to identify local potential and analyze the suitability of tourist demand with the supply of local tourism potential on Pulau Pramuka. The research was conducted in February 2019. The data analysis method used in this study was supply-demand analysis. The results showed that the tourism potential of Pulau Pramuka included natural and artificial tourist attractions, unique culinary and souvenirs, accessibility and easy transportation, complete facilities, and the role of the government and society in tourism development. Berbagai upaya pencegahan dan pengobatan telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahan kimia maupun herbal. Bahan herbal, berupa epibiotik (tunggal maupun campuran) digunakan oleh pembudidaya untuk pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit ini, karena mudah diperoleh, murah dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan campuran epibiotik, ekstrak daun binahong dan temulawak pada pakan terhadap profil darah dan kelulushidupan ikan lele yang diinfeksi A. hydrophila . Metoda yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan). Seratus delapan puluh ikan lele uji dengan panjang 7-9 cm yang dipelihara pada akuarium berisi air 10 L.  Dosis campuran epibiotik, esktrak daun binahong dan temulawak menggunakan perbandingan untuk perlakuan A (0%:0%), B (100%:0%), C (75%:25%), D (50%:50%), E (25%:75%) dan F (0%:100%) dengan dosis dasar 2500 ppm untuk ekstrak daun binahong dan 900 ppm untuk temulawak. Campuran epibiotik tersebut ditambahkan pada pakan komersil sebagai pakan uji dengan metode spray . Pakan uji diberikan selama 14 hari, kemudian pada hari kelimabelas ikan uji diinjeksi A. hydrophila secara intramuscular dengan konsentrasi 10 6 CFU/mL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gejala klinis ikan lele yang terinfeksi A. hydrophila adalah nafsu makan rendah, bercak merah, luka, haemorhagi serta warna tubuh memucat.  Penambahan campuran epiobiotik ekstrak daun binahong dan temulawak berpengaruh nyata ( p <0,05) terhadap profil darah dan kelulushidupan ikan uji pasca perlakuan dan pasca infeksi. Campuran epibiotik D mampu melawan infeksi A.hydrophilla pada C. gariepinus dengan tingkat kelulushidupan tertinggi (90±17%). One of the p roblems in catfish culture was aeromonasis that was caused by Aeromonas hydrophila. The prevention and thre a tment of this disease have been carried out with using chemichal substance and an epibiotics from eco-friendly herbal plant extracts. Epibiotics, such as binahong leaves and curcuma extracts had been applicated by farmers to threat this disease because of it’s cheap and easy to get it. The aim s of this study was to evaluate the effect of mixture binahong leaves and curcuma extracts in feed on blood profile and survival rate of catfish infected A . hydrophila. The method of research used was Completely Randomized Design, consisted of 6 treatments and 3 replications. The catfish used was 180 fish es with length of 7-9 cm that were cultured in aquarium with 10L waters. The basic dosage of binahong leaves and curcuma extracts used was 2500 ppm and 900 ppm with the ratio of treatment A (0%:0%), B (100%:0%), C (75%:25%), D (50%:50%), E (25%:75%), and F (0%:100%). Teknologi tepat guna yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah fermentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung lemna fermentasi terhadap pertumbuhan dan rasio konversi pakan ikan bawal. Ikan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ikan bawal berukuran 3-5 cm dipelihara selama 35 hari dan diberikan pakan secara at satiation sebanyak dua kali sehari. Perlakuan lemna fermentasi diberikan pada 4 dosis yaitu (0, 10, 20, 30)%/kg pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan lemna fermentasi 20% dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan bawal, namun  pada penambahan lemna fermentasi 30% pertumbuhan ikan bawal cenderung turun. Kesimpulan yang ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah dosis lemna fermentasi 20% merupakan dosis terbaik secara deskriptif dengan nilai laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,7%/hari, rasio konversi pakan 19,14 dan sintasan hidup 100%. Using Lemna minor as fish feed ingredients constrained by its crude fiber which inhibits the digestive and absorption abilities in the fish digestive systems. The appropriate technology that could overcome this problem is fermentation. The aim of this study was to evaluate fermented  lemna  supplemented in artificial feed on the growth rate and conversion feed ratio of  pomfret  fish. Experimental fish used was pomfret fish at the initial size of 3-5 cm and was reared for 35 days and fish were fed twice a day at satiation. The study consists of four dosage (0,10,20,30)%/kg of artificial feed. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan potensi biokonsentrasi pestisida organoklorin dalam jaringan lunak kerang darah ditilik dari faktor biokonsentrasi pestisida tersebut.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan memelihara kerang darah dalam sedimen yang mengandung pestisida pada beberapa akuarium. Sedimen diambil dari Muara Sungai Wakak-Plumbon, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pestisida organoklorin mampu terakumulasi dalam jaringan lunak dengan faktor biokonsentrasi yang berbeda untuk masing-masing jenis pestisida organoklorin.  Faktor biokonsentrasi pestisida organoklorin tertinggi pada pestisida lindane.  Faktor biokonsentrasi pestisida terendah adalah aldrin. Blood clams are one type of clams which have important economic value. Habitat of blood clams mostly contain organochlorine pesticides which then reduce the ir economic value . The organochlorine pesticides can accumulate in the blood clams soft tissue, making it unsafe to consume. This research was conducted to determine the accumulation potential of organochlorine pesticides in the soft tissue of blood clams from the bioconcentration factor of these pesticides. The study was conducted by maintaining blood shells in sediments containing pesticides in several aquariums. Sediments were taken from the Wakak-Plumbon River Estuary, Central Java. The results showed that organochlorine pesticides were able to accumulate in soft tissues with different bioconcentration factors for each type of organochlorine pesticide. The highest biochemical concentration of organochlorine pesticides is in lindane pesticides. Proses bioenergetika dalam upaya pemanfaatan energi pakan untuk pertumbuhan, erat hubungannya dengan proses osmoregulasi organisme air yang dipengaruhi oleh salinitas media kulturnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh perbedaan diet fitoplankton dan menentukan jenis fitoplankton yang tepat yang memberikan performa  pertumbuhan dan produksi telur O. similis terbaik pada kondisi salinitas media kultur yang optimum (19,4 permil). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan  Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan masing-masing 5 kali ulangan, yaitu: kultur O. Similis dengan diet fitoplankton A. Chlorella vulgaris ; B. Nannochloropsis oculata ; C. Isochrysis galbana ; dan D. Chaetoceros calcitrans . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan diet mikroalga berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi telur O. similis pada kondisi salinitas media kultur optimum. Pemberian sel diatom Chaetoceros calcitrans memberikan kepadatan total (16,88±0,32 ind./ml), laju pertumbuhan populasi (0,141±0,001/hari) dan produksi telur (24,50±0,58 telur/ind.) Salinitas memberikan pengaruh terhadap tekanan-tekanan osmotik yang berbeda terhadap tekanan osmotik tubuh organisme perairan, sehingga mengharuskan untuk melakukan proses osmoregulasi untuk menyeimbangkan tekanan osmotiknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kerja osmotik (TKO), indeks ponderal, dan kematangan gonad kepiting bakau serta hubungan TKO dengan indeks ponderal dan kematangan gonadnya. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember sampai Maret 2019. Materi utama yang dijadikan objek pengamatan adalah kepiting bakau yang dibudidaya di tambak Desa Pesantren Ulujami Pemalang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan korelasi dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepiting bakau di tambak Desa Pesantren memiliki pola osmoregulasi hiperosmotik sedangkan pola osmoregulasi isoosmotik ditunjukkan pada kepiting yang sedang mengalami moulting. Indeks ponderal kurang dari dua sehingga bertubuh pipih dan belum matang gonad.
