Therefore, fog nodes able to reduce the response time to high volumes of generated data. As fog nodes extend from the edge of the network to the cloud, their cooperation in workload processing can lighten processing queues and further reduce response time. On the other hand, by increasing processing data in fog nodes, the fog layer’s energy consumption cost is increased. Therefore, to investigate this issue, in this paper, an optimization problem for collaboration between fog nodes is presented to reduce the response time and energy consumption cost. In this work, the goal is to make a balance between these two parameters. Then, the proposed problem is solved using the Cuckoo evolutionary algorithm. The evaluation results show that the proposed solution in solving the problem has been able to have significant impacts in reducing response time and energy consumption cost compared to competing works.","PeriodicalId":192646,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Internet of Things and Applications (IoT)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129014600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Micro Grids are considered as the central part of the distributed generation system’s body, while their management and control are of great importance. In recent years, the management and control of Micro Grids, their connection time to the leading network, and their disconnection time have been considered by many researchers since the optimization of these materials directly impacts economic benefits and consumer costs. In the interest of electric vehicles’ nature and characteristics, they are connected to the power grid at the distribution level. The set of electric vehicles that are connected to the Micro Grids can cause problems for the grid to operate, such as voltage drops, increased losses, and unwanted clockwork during off-peak hours. In the last two years, deep learning methods have been used to address these challenges and other security and management challenges. This article surveys the applications of Deep Learning-based methods in Electric vehicles as a part of the Micro Grid.","PeriodicalId":192646,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Internet of Things and Applications (IoT)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123203161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IoT and ICTs as an evolving technology can assist governmental agencies in integrated urban management. Therefore, this study was designed to answer two research questions of what application does IoT and generally ICT have in smart urban governance? and what is their impact on citizens’ participation? For comprehensive analysis of scientific documents and empirical evidence, two methods of review study and survey study on 400 residents of Isfahan city were used. The results of the review study show that online services, monitoring, data gathering, public e-participation, and cooperation enhancement are the five potential uses of IoT and ICTs in smart urban administration. While survey outputs depict that for efficient use of technology in management, the simultaneous development of technical and social infrastructure is essential. In conclusion, the promotion of the IoT, like other technologies in smart urban governance, needs the proper association with management, social, cultural, economic, and environmental systems. Hence, the present study provides recommendations to develop this alignment and to facilitate the use of IoT in urban governance.","PeriodicalId":192646,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Internet of Things and Applications (IoT)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128566178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to this congestion of equipment as well as the increasing complexity of traditional network configuration, Software-Defined Networks (SDNs) facilitate network management by separating the control and data layers and creating network rules. For these facilities, these networks appear to be a good infrastructure for IoT networks will enable network programming to develop new and more efficient services to meet real needs. In addition, the variety of IoT equipment can increase complex and inconsistent network rules in SDN-based switches, making network management difficult. Accordingly, in this paper, we will try to model the behavior of anomaly rules distributed in software-defined networks that have been created by different apps in the Internet of Things. During the energy transmission phase, UEs are associated to MBSs/SBSs based on the mean maximum received power (MMP) scheme and charge their batteries. During the data transmission phase, each UE downloads packets from the same MBSs/SBSs, while UEs upload packets to the nearest SBSs using the harvested energy. IP camera is one of the most important elements in In Internet of things (IoT) and smart cities, in this era. IoT Based Smart Surveillance provides resources over the Internet and allows a plethora of applications to be deployed to provide services for different applications. Traditional solutions to deal with the big video data would require a large amount of computing and storage resources. one of the major bottleneck being faced the computational cost of spatio-temporal deep neural networks making them run as fast as their 2D counterparts while preserving accuracy on video recognition benchmarks. To this end, we present the new model-based human action recognition design. In this method we use fixed dimensional representation for actions in video clips of varying lengths to decrees computational complexes. This representation, simplify clustering and comparing between videos. In addition, the methods based on CNN usually need manual annotation at the beginning and the meaning of characteristics is an abstract wonder and subjective phenomenon and hence a manual annotation of attributes is highly inconsistent [1]. Anyhow our proposed smart surveillance system is unsupervised and don’t need inconsistent manual annotation of video clips attributes. Given the variety of smart nodes, data and the access latency that can be tolerated by consumers in modern IoT-based industry, we propose a method for analyzing the resiliency of an IoT network. Due to the complexity of modern system structures, different components in the system can affect the system’s resiliency. Therefore, a fundamental problem is to propose methods to quantify the value of resilience contribution of a node in each system effectively. This paper aims to identify the most critical vertices of the network with respect to the latency constraint resiliency metric. Using important centrality metrics, we identify critical nodes in industrial IoT networks to analyze the degree of resiliency in the IoT environments. The results show that when nodes with the highest value of Closeness Centrality (CC) were disrupted Resiliency of Latency (RL) would have the lowest value.
