The study also aims to shed light on the genius of Arabic calligraphy embodied in the covering the Kaaba, using an analytical artistic approach and vision. The study is based on the descriptive analytical approach, The study concluded that the history of interest in designing the covering the Kaaba dates back to an ancient period before Islam, where the decorations and fabrics used developed until they reached the current form, reflecting the value of beauty and art of the covering the Kaaba through its designs, emphasizing the importance of Arab-Islamic decoration and the role of art in highlighting this. The great legacy. I also concluded that the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy on the covering of the Kaaba express aesthetic, artistic and religious values, and carry an important message for Islam, where Arabic calligraphy is applied with the highest levels of authenticity and distinction according to artistic foundations.","PeriodicalId":192540,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Educational Sciences and Arts","volume":" 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141827186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to identify Ahl Al-Hadith and the concept of Ahl Al-Hadith’s school, clarify the meaning of Ahl Al-Ra’y and the concept of Ahl Al-Ra’y’s school, deduce the methodology that each school adhered to and elucidate their contributions to the Sunnah and its sciences, and conduct a comparison between the two schools to highlight the points of agreement and disagreement between them. To this regard, I combine the inductive, analytical, and comparative approaches. The research is arranged into an introduction, three treatises, a conclusion, a list of bibliography and references. Then the research ends with several findings, including: Ahl Al-Hadith refers to those who have a close connection with the traditions (Athar) through seeking, collecting, understanding, memorizing, narrating, following, and acting accordingly, both outwardly and inwardly, and they possess the critical faculty and the fine discernment to distinguish between authentic and unauthentic narrations of the Prophet (PBUH). Meanwhile, Ahl Al-Ra’y refers to those who consider issues and engage in Ijtihad (Shariah-based-reasoning), and use analogical deduction (Qiyas) in matters of creed and Fiqh, whether their Ijtihad is reprehensible or praiseworthy. As for the recommendations, the most significant among them is the need to understand that disagreement among the four schools of Fiqh pertains to subsidiary matters, while they agree on the fundamental principles of issues.","PeriodicalId":192540,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Educational Sciences and Arts","volume":" 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141824413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Auerbach criticized the way Europeans viewed literature and history, which led to the sanctification of an ideal image of ancient Greek civilization at the expense of the reality of the lower classes. He also criticized the principle of \"separation of styles\" in European literature, which neglected the social reality of the lower classes. On the other hand, Al-Jabri points out that Arab culture lacks a unified temporal framework that organizes the sequence of thought and knowledge, leading to a \"missing link\" in the Arab historical consciousness, unlike the European culture, which has a stable frame of reference for the history of its thought. Thus, the research addresses the impact of cognitive and literary structures on the reading of history and the formation of historical consciousness in both European and Arab cultures.","PeriodicalId":192540,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Educational Sciences and Arts","volume":"57 44","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141649778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This investigation shows that the discussions of imitation that spread throughout the Renaissance were indeed adopted from Latin Roman discussions of poetry and rhetoric, but they have no connection to the famous Greek philosophical concepts of mimesis/imitation that are found in the work of Plato and Aristotle. Indeed, European concepts of imitatio/ imitation, as this study shows, developed their conceptual potential before Plato’s and Aristotle’s discussions of mimesis became familiar in Europe. Furthermore, Renaissance discussions of imitation were not theories of art and literature, as is commonly believed. They were simply an educational pedagogy that organized the appropriation of the canons of description of classical Latin into the vernaculars. The peculiarity and the scale of this pedagogy become evident when located within its geopolitical context. In the early modern era, neither the dead Latin language nor the vernaculars were equipped to manage the wealth or the administrative and cultural needs of ascending European states. Like Rome at the height of its power, European states were emerging empires in need of a language and a culture. And just like the Romans resorted to the imitation of Greek masterpieces in order to develop their language, Europeans advocated the imitation of Latin masterpieces to develop their vernaculars. But while the Romans resorted to imitatio often with resentment and bitterness at the impossibility to match the Greek achievement, European humanists considered imitatio to have been a resounding success [sic]. By adopting the Roman practice of imitatio, European cultures appropriated and internalized Roman ambivalence without solving or even identifying it.","PeriodicalId":192540,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Educational Sciences and Arts","volume":"59 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141649889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article examines \"A Doll's House\" through a feminist lens, exploring the extent to which the play serves as a critique of gender dynamics and the abuse of power by men within the institution of marriage. By analysing the historical and social context of the play, the characterization of Nora and Torvald Helmer, and the symbolism of the dollhouse, this study highlights how Ibsen exposes the oppressive nature of patriarchal society. Key findings indicate that \"A Doll's House\" not only challenges traditional gender roles but also advocates for women's autonomy and equality. The play's reception and enduring impact on feminist literature and movements underscore its significance as a powerful cry against the subjugation of women. Through this analysis, the article contributes to a deeper understanding of Ibsen's work and its relevance to contemporary discussions on gender and power.","PeriodicalId":192540,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Educational Sciences and Arts","volume":" 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141368290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
