To analyze the registered medicines of the group of immunostimulants in order to determine the feasibility of creating and organizing the production of new drugs based on natural clays, in particular green and yellow clays.Materials and methods. The list of medicinal products compiled from official sources of information was used in the work; it was processed by the methods of generalization, systematization, graphical method, as well as the methods of comparative and structural analysis.Results and its discussion. The analysis of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market concerning the range of the registered immunostimulants has been performed. Structuring of the selected list of medicines by the ATC-classification, origin, composition, production characteristic and dosage form type has been carried out. By production basis the majority of medicines are of domestic production (63.58 %). It has been determined that drugs of the segment studied are produced in solid and liquid dosage forms. Solutions for injection are prevalent at the domestic pharmaceutical market, and the range of solid dosage forms is under developed. At the pharmaceutical market, there are no drugs of this group with natural clays, in particular yellow and green clays.Conclusions. To perform the preclinical studies of the stress-protective activity of a new “Tonus-Aktiv” homeopathic medicinal product. Materials and methods . The stress-protective effect of the “Tonus-Aktiv” homeopathic medicinal product (MP) and the reference drug – “Stress-gran” homeopathic granules were studied on the model of neuromuscular tension by Selye. The stress-protective effect of the drugs was assessed by the conventional methods described in the sci entific literature and the corresponding current instructional guidelines. All factual material was processed by variational statistics methods using parametric (Newman-Keuls test) and non-parametric methods of analysis (Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney). Results and discussion . It was found that “Tonus-Aktiv” had a pronounced gastro-protective effect, reducing the area of ulcers by almost 3 times, having a statistically significant antioxidant effect, reducing the level of TBA (thiobarbituric acid) active products in the liver homogenate. It did not have a normalizing effect on the protein metabolism, but it did contribute to enhancing energy-supplying metabolic processes: aerobic glycolysis indicated by a reliable increase of the pyruvic acid level in the blood serum, and lipolysis, as evidenced by a significantly higher level of the total blood lipids. “Tonus-Aktiv” showed a pronounced antioxidant activity: it reduced the TBA level of active products in the liver homogenate. At the same time, the level of endogenous antioxidant of reduced glutathione was observed to be lower than in the stressed animals against the background of the “Tonus-Aktiv” application. It indicates the physiological nature of the stress protective activity of the drug. Conclusions. The spectrophotometric method was used to determine phenolic compounds calculated with reference to 6-gingerol. Results and discussion . The spectral characteristics of a standard sample of 6-gingerol, a predominant substance among biologically active phenolic compounds of ginger, have been studied. It has been shown that its absorption spectrum in the range from 220 to 400 nm contains one absorption band with a maximum at 281 nm, which can be used as an analytical absorption band for the quantitative determination by absorption spectrophotometry. It has been proven that excipients do not interfere with the quantitative determination of the total amount of phenolic compounds in the composition of tablets with a dry extract of ginger since they do not absorb electromagnetic radiation in the region of the analytical maximum. It has been found that the content of the total amount of phenolic compounds calculated with reference to 6-gingerol in the experimental batch of tablets is 0.03556 ± 0.0088 g/tab. The relative uncertainty of the mean determination was 1.007 %. Conclusions . The spectrophotometric method for the quantitative determination of the total amount of phenolic compounds calculated with reference to 6-gingerol in tablets based on a dry ginger extract with the subsequent calculation by the standard method has been developed. Ще за сивої давнини люди використовували лікарські рослини для зцілення різноманітних нездужань. Не втратило своєї актуальності лікування рослинами і сьогодні. До лікарської рослинної сировини, що використовується науковою та народною медициною для поліпшення стану серцево-судинної системи, належать плоди глоду, листя м’яти, листя меліси та корені синюхи. Мета дослідження. Провести фармакотехнологічні дослідження з розробки складу та технології виробництва пероральної твердої лікарської форми для профілактики та лікування серцево-судинних захворювань. Матеріали та методи. Порошки рослинної сировини досліджені за такими показниками, як насипна густина, текучість та вологовміст. Проведено мікроскопічний аналіз частинок порошків. Визначені фармакотехнологічні параметри модельних сумішей активних фармацевтичних інгредієнтів з додаванням допоміжних речовин – текучість, спресовуваність та розпадання запресовки. Результати та їх обговорення. Мікроскопічний аналіз показав, що суміш порошків подрібненої рослинної сировини є полідисперсною системою з частинками, які відрізняються за формою, на підставі чого можна спрогнозувати незадовільну текучість досліджуваної суміші та, відповідно, необхідність введення допоміжних речовин. Для визначення складу допоміжних речовин у розроблюваному препараті досліджували фармакотехнологічні показники модельних сумішей рослинних порошків з додаванням мікрокристалічної целюлози, лактози (марок FlawLac та CapsuLac) та крохмалю кукурудзяного. Кількість кожного компонента визначали експериментально. Для забезпечення текучості обрано метод вологого гранулювання. Висновки. Вивчення фізико-хімічних та фармакотехнологічних властивостей порошків лікарської рослинної сировини показало незадовільні показники плинності. З метою поліпшення технологічних властивостей суміші введено такі допоміжні речовини, як мікрокристалічна целюлоза, лактоза марок FlawLac та CapsuLac, аеросил та кальцію стеарат. Для підвищення текучості маси обґрунтовано застосування методу вологого гранулювання. Як зволожувач обрано 5 % крохмальний клейстер. Вивчені параметри сушіння вологих гранул та встановлено температуру (55 ± 5) °С.
