E-VIMS able to record visitor information during visitor registration by using visitorpsilas Malaysia government multipurpose card (MyKad). The concepts underlying in E-VIMS are MyKad, smart card reader, personal computer/smart card (PC/SC) and data management. This application enables capturing new visiting record by auto-clock in/out, and assignment of visitor pass. Visitor information are recorded in a centralized database server, which provides data management and manipulation through searching and report generating. To illustrate this concept, we present an application to mine information from a graph data structure. This application can be used as a user friendly interface for mining information where graph can be used as data structure for information storage. The application recognizes the gestures, text based input, speech and combination of all of these. Here the various input modalities are implemented as software agents which are independent of each other. There exist MONITOR agents which will synchronize various inputs from the user and act according to it. The topological properties of P2P overlay networks are one of the important factors that dominate the performance of resource discovery. In this paper, we present an efficient P2P network model for resource discovery. Firstly, location of the underlying physical network is taken into account during the constructions of P2P networks aiming to alleviate the topoloty mismatch problem between the P2P overlay nerwork and the phisical nerwork. Furthermore, the nodes with similar resource are clustered together which can increase the chances of finding matching resources quickly. In this paper, a new dual watermarking scheme based on DWT-SVD is presented to improve the robustness and protection. Both discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) have been used as a mathematical tool to embed watermark in the image. In the proposed technique, two watermarks are embedded in the host image. First watermark is called primary watermark, which is a gray scale digital image. Second watermark is called secondary watermark which is a gray scale meaningful logo instead of randomly generated Gaussian noise type watermark. The secondary watermark is embedded into primary watermark and the resultant watermarked image is used as watermark for the host image. A reliable watermark extraction scheme is developed for the extraction of the primary as well as secondary watermark from the distorted image. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed scheme is able to withstand a variety of attacks. In response to this, we present a novel meta-search engine called Dyniqx for metadata based cross search. Dyniqx exploits the availability of metadata in academic search services such as PubMed and Google Scholar etc for fusing search results from heterogeneous search engines. In addition, metadata from these search engines are used for generating dynamic query controls such as sliders and tick boxes etc which are used by users to filter search results. In this paper, we propose a hybrid approach that alloys an improved MF and the so-called NSVD1 approach, resulting in a very accurate factor model. After that, we propose a unification of factor models and neighbor based approaches, which further improves the performance. The approaches are evaluated on the Netflix Prize dataset, and they provide very low RMSE, and favorable running time.
