Then, two correlated sources send their messages to one destination and one relay which performs network coding and provides additional information to the receiver. At the destination, a joint iterative decoding algorithm is developed which takes into account the correlation between sources. The proposed system is compared to Separate Channel Network Coding (SCNC) where the decoding process at the destination is done separately. It is shortly named as CO-UFMC PON. The Dolph-Chebyshev-filters is used which it gives the lowest side-lope power suppression. To estimate PN and CFO, one whole subband is employed to be pilots. The maximum likely hood method is used. The numerical simulation is employed to verify the proposed method. The results show that the side-lope power suppression of 50 dB is achieved when compared with the conventional orthogonal frequency division multiple accesses (OFDMA). We designed an EEG experiment in which we collected training data. Applying the Daubechies 8 wavelet (db8) delta, theta, alpha, beta and gamma wave signal are obtained by decomposition and used as codewords for Bag-of-Words model. We represented each signal with its codewords histogram and implemented classifier base on minimum distance. The determination of actual user needs can make the difference between a nice to have and a real innovation. Integrating the target group successfully means being able to detect requirements and errors as well as needs, fears and barriers and utilize creative potential. The main advantage of such testing is being able to gain real users' behavior structures and their experiences and develop new services and products accordingly. Several AAL projects in national and international context have been conducted or are in process with involvement of the Research and Innovation department of Johanniter Austria. User integration and requirements analysis are conducted recently and scientific findings on premises, experiences as well as methods for testing are described. Furthermore this paper examines how to overcome main barriers and enhance valuable and widespread user integration. The framework is built by factors of technology acceptance as well as ethical issues. However, implementing a Simulink functional model on multicore architecture is not trivial. Designers might need first to select an adequate multicore architecture that provides a higher performance for a given Simulink model. Hence, it is important to have a set of performance metrics at hand that assist the designers to select the adequate architecture. This paper presents an approach to evaluate the performance of a given Simulink model running on multicore architecture. For this purpose, a given Simulink model is mapped to synchronous dataflow graph, the graph is then scheduled with objective to minimize it iteration period, resulting in performance metrics such as speedup and efficiency. Query execution requires data transfers between the distant processing sites of the system. In this paper we propose a solution for minimizing raw data transfers between distant nodes by online re-arranging and replicating data within the constraints of the original database architecture. Data transfer is the principal factor when transferring intermediate results in the process of query evaluation. The proposed method gathers online incremental knowledge about data access patterns and database statistics to solve the following problem: online re-allocation of the fragments in order to constantly optimize the query response time. One of the advantages of this model is that it can be used to generate the error sequence with little effort. Thus, it provides a basis for designing hybrid concatenated codes (HCCs) employing the turbo code as inner code. These coding schemes combine the features of parallel and serially concatenated codes and thus offer more freedom in code design. It has been demonstrated, in fact, that HCCs can perform closer to capacity than serially concatenated codes while still maintaining a minimum distance that grows linearly with block length. In particular, small memory-one component encoders are sufficient to yield asymptotically good code ensembles for such schemes. Therefore, significant research effort is focused on creating a fine-grained pollution and noise maps to identify urban areas with critical negative impact on human health. The traditional measuring methods typically use expensive and static equipment which is not suitable for dynamic urban environments because of the low spatio-temporal density of measurements. On the other hand, the growing popularity of mobile phones, and their technological capabilities, opens a new perspective on citizen-assisted environmental monitoring. In this paper we present a mobile crowdsensing (MCS) solution for air quality and noise pollution monitoring. More specifically, we show a practical experience of a real-world system deployment, from sensor calibration to data acquisition and analysis. Meanwhile, as ECG related data can reveal other factors like medical disease, the protection of the ECG biometric template is mandatory. The challenge is to guaranty the privacy of the ECG data, while keeping adequate performance results in terms of false acceptance rate and false rejection rate in subject identification. In this work, the focus will be on designing and assessing a secure sketch scheme for protecting ECG template. We show that the proposed scheme preserves the identification performances of the unprotected system while maintaining an acceptable identification speed compared with the fuzzy commitment scheme. Simulation results are presented in this paper. The proposed design of the single antenna is based on rectangular structured slots in order to operate at multiple frequency bands. The slots are designed on the rectangular patch and fed by a microstrip feeder line. The single antenna has a very compact size of 3× 2 mm2 with operating frequency equal to 20.67 GHz, it covers a large band (19–36.6 GHz). The desired antenna is designed on a substrate with a relative dielectric permittivity of 4.4 and its thickness is of 0.4 mm. It provides a wide bandwidth, a directional radiation pattern, a high gain and its reflection coefficient (S11) is less than −10 dB in the frequency range of 19–36.6 GHz that is one of the candidate bands for future 5G communications. The antenna array consists of eight elements with rectangular patch. It has a compact size of 35.52×28.79 mm2.
