It is a bridge connecting the economic development of cities in various countries. Zhanjiang is one of the first “One Belt, One Road” maritime cooperation fulcrum cities. It is the central city of North-Gulf City and has the reputation of “China Excellent Tourism City” and “Charming City with Chinese Characteristics”. Based on the five aspects of “eat, live, travel, sightseeing and purchase”, this paper collects the satisfaction data of Zhanjiang tourism by questionnaire survey, and uses IPA analysis method to analyze the tourism satisfaction of Zhanjiang. According to the analysis, the tourism satisfaction of Zhanjiang is relatively good, but there are still some places with low satisfaction, mainly in the areas of convenient transportation, catering service quality, scenic project and scenic facilities. Therefore, the author analyzes the importance and satisfaction of each quadrant, analyzes the causes of the differences according to the degree of distribution, and finally proposes targeted improvement measures for different factors and different importance-satisfaction to improve tourism satisfaction of Zhanjiang. So as to realize the healthy development of Zhanjiang tourism, and finally realize the effective improvement of Zhanjiang's economy.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121588109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stiglitz and investigates the main conditions of its formation in Ukraine. The following problems are discussed: the strong influence of narratives of the eastern institutional matrix on the development of national economy and political system; unjustified differentiation of the interests of power, business, science and civil society; neglect of the scientific research and the need for institutional change by public authorities and local self-government bodies; high level of national markets monopolization; a strong link between economic power and political influence; legal nihilism and political apathy of the population. Expediency of implementing additional fifth priority, which foresees the use of innovative models, technologies and instruments for managing the intellect using and intellectualization of the national elite and human resources in general, is justified on the basis of the theoretical frameworks and practical recommendations, which were developed by Ukrainian scientists. Taking into account the results of the formation and development of the Presidential Personnel Reserve “New Elite of the Nation”, the authors have initiated the creation of the Laboratory of Intellectual Development for Empowering Regions (LIDER), which will implement a pilot project for the intellectual resources development in the Western region within the framework of the realization of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian program “Competence Development of Lithuanian and Ukrainian Public Sector Employees Using Design-Thinking Methodology”.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134149095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To deepen the reform of the income distribution system, it is necessary to clarify the accurate connotation of the relationship between “fairness and efficiency” under the framework of “incentive-constraint”, make a correct analysis on the causes of income differences, and lay a foundation for understanding the rationality of the policy. The basic idea of optimizing income distribution in China should be to use the vision of common prosperity as the “goal-orientation” and combine the “problem-orientation” to accelerate the strategic transformation from “getting rich first” to “getting rich together”. The basic principles to be followed are the following: encourages entrepreneurial innovation with reasonable income distribution; recognizes the contribution of each factor and combines the distribution according to work with the distribution according to other factors; and appropriately allows and tolerates the expansion of the income gap in the first half of the “inverted U curve”, that is, actively adjusts and holds “polarization”; builds a system-engineered distribution system with promoting transparency, encouraging enthusiasm, promoting harmony and helping the weak as essentials; promotes the dynamic optimization of the distribution system and policy system with reform, namely effective institutional supply as the leader. On this basis, establish a system of initial distribution of national income with sound rules and fair process; establish a system of national income redistribution with appropriately equalized results; improve the third distribution system of national income; and promotes the reform of the supporting system for national income distribution.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122727423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in promoting the development of the old-age real estate. The development of the old-age real estate for SMEs is not only conducive to the healthy development of the old-age real estate market, but also conducive to the middle and low-income elderly to enjoy high-quality and convenient old-age services. The method adopted in this paper is mainly to compare the modes that SMEs can adopt in the three links of development, financing and operation of the old-age real estate, to calculate the costs and benefits of various modes, and to analyze their advantages and disadvantages. The types of enterprises suitable for various modes are also discussed. The conclusion of this paper is that for different links, SMEs should adopt different modes in the process of developing old-age real estate. In terms of development mode, SMEs should choose to cooperate with service agencies because SMEs have weak capital strength and risk tolerance, narrow financing channels and less market resources. In terms of financing mode, SMEs should choose government-enterprise cooperation because it can reduce the development cost, especially the cost of land, also can obtain policy support and administrative approval convenience. In addition, this mode can well reflect the profitability and welfare characteristics of the old-age real estate and can achieve social spillover benefits. In terms of operation mode, SMEs should choose only construction but not operation so as to avoid the risks brought by the latter operation.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127532167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research, methodologically, then, was performed under survey method to beef’s consumers in two supermarkets existing in District of South Bolaang Mongondow. Both supermarkets selected as research site were Media Trans and Hail Mart, having been newly operated since 2018. 100 respondents were selected with accidental sampling technique, 50 respondents of each supermarket respectively. Data obtained were primary data, comprising of consumers’ perception against 25 items of beef attributes in-depth questioned under guidance of list of questions prepared initially. To analyze the level of interest and performance of beef attributes sold according to consumers’ perception, importance-performance matrix (IPM), thus, was employed. A value given for the level of interest and performance had 5 indicators, ranging of 1-5. As a result, the research concludes that attribute of expired dated, contents of beef’s parts and information of halal (under religious practice) were significantly important; however, the performance had not been in accordance with consumers’ expectation in influencing purchasing decision. Therefore, as further recommendation, those beef attributes are necessarily required higher priority by management of both supermarkets and beef’s producers in improving beef’s quality in order to satisfy consumers’ demand in purchasing beef products.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130684730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Financial sector reforms were part of these broader economic reforms. A successful financial sector reform was expected to generate a dynamic process involving substantial changes in the country’s real activities of production, exchange (trade) and finance. Sustainability of the reforms was expected to result in financial deepening, increase in the range of financial products in order to better serve the needs of the economy and enhance transformation of the economy (urban as well as rural) so that production, exchange and other economic activities take place in different ways and in the context of new or reformed institutions. However the progress being made as a result of financial sector reform, financial services to the rural population have been slow to develop. The financial sector reforms are still in progress, but there is increasing concern that the majority of the rural population which constitutes 70-80% of the population and comprise 90% of all the poor in Nigeria have not benefited from the financial reforms. They have largely been bypassed by these reforms. The need to enhance accessibility of financial services to the rural poor in Nigeria deserves high priority on the agenda of the on-going financial sector reforms. In recognition of the need for improving access to financial services by the rural population, this paper will address the experience and lessons learned to date in the development of rural finance with a view to facilitating appropriate design of rural finance and develop sustainable financial services for the needs of rural population in Nigeria, in order to reduce the increasing rate of poverty. The survey research design was adopted and data collected through questionnaires. The impact of rural financing as a panacea for poverty reduction in Nigeria was analyzed using the OLS regression method. The study revealed the existence of positive relationship between rural financing and poverty reduction in Nigeria. The study recommended that adequate measure must put in place to continue encouragement of rural financing in Nigeria.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123975114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To investigate the impact during and after crisis, the technique of threshold has been applied to make a complex network from the cross-correlations of the returns of 46 daily time series comprising of 23 global stock market indices and 23 commodity futures from 2010 to 2014. The networks are fragmented with the increase of threshold and the study detects a sturdy association between commodities and stock indices at high threshold during severe crisis of 2011. The dynamic of inter-links between two groups at threshold 0.1 show dissimilar behavior with the dynamic of inter-degrees of individual group of commodities with stock indices. The change of intra-degrees among individual groups of stock and commodities demonstrates that the effect of Cypriot crisis in first half of 2013 on financial indices is more shocking than those of commodity futures. The dynamic of clustering coefficient identifies that Asian financial indices and index of agricultural sector under commodity market are more responsive during as well as after crises. Finally, we propose a definition to measure the states of the network artifact. Identifying the dynamic movement of market state and network structure can be useful as an early warning of upcoming crisis and portfolio investment.","PeriodicalId":189819,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Business and Economic Development","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130104309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
