Esta simbiosis se realiza tanto en el plano ficcional como en el nivel puramente discursivo. Es este ultimo aspecto el que se analiza en este articulo. A traves de figuras retoricas como la comparacion, la hipotiposis y determinadas tecnicas que sugieren un encuadre cinematografico o los movimientos de una camara, la narrativa del escritor norteamericano entabla un dialogo interdiscursivo con un arte de masas que forma parte ya de la cultura contemporanea. EnglishFilm and literature are occasionally merged into the work of Raymond Chandler. This symbiosis is performed both on the fictional level and on the purely discursive level. It is this last aspect that is analyzed in this article.
