The focus of the study in this research is to find out the process on how the continuity of the current tradition of Menumbai is going on and to distinguish the tradition of Menumbai in the past and nowadays. This research also studies the shifts or changes that occur in the tradition of Menumbai and examine the cause behind it. The method used in this study is qualitative research using an ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques in this research were observation, participant observation, and in-depth interview. This research was conducted for two months long by directly staying at the research location in Tambak Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. \u0000ABSTRAK: \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tradisi menumbai pada masyarakat suku Patalangan di Desa Tambak. Fukos kajian pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahuai bagaimana keberlangsungan tradisi menumbai pada saat sekarang ini serta mempelajari bagaimana tradisi menumbai dahulu dan bagaimana tradisi menumbai sekarang ini. penelitian ini juga mempelajari pergeseran atau perubahan yang terjadi pada tradisi menumbai serta penyebabnya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi. Sumber data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, observasi terlibat, dan wawancara mendalam. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity in Belibak Village is one clear evidence of a change in the socio-economic pattern of the community around the corporate area. This study aims to describe how CSR activities have a direct impact on people's lives and describe how these activities began to change the way of life of the Belibak Village community. This research was arranged in a qualitative method with an ethnographic field methodology, data collection was carried out directly for 2 months (1 September – 1 November 2021) in Belibak Village, Kec. Palmatak, Anambas Islands. The result in the case of Belibak Village is that this CSR activity has changed the socio-economic pattern of the community affected by the sustainable development program. \u0000ABSTRAK:Aktivitas suatu perusahaan bisa membawa dampak besar terhadap masyarakat disekitar wilayah operasinya, perubahan pola sosial ekonomi merupakan salah satu dampak yang cukup nyata terhadap masyarakat, perubahan ini bisa mengarah baik ataupun buruk. Aktivitas Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) di Desa Belibak salah satu bukti nyata terjadinya perubahan pada pola sosial ekonomi masyarakat sekitar kawasan korporasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana aktivitas CSR berdampak langsung pada kehidupan masyarakat dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana aktivitas ini mulai mengubah tatanan hidup masyarakat Desa Belibak. Penelitian ini disusun dalam metode kualitatif dengan metodologis lapangan Etnografi, pengambilan data dilakukan langsung selama 2 bulan (1 September – 1 November 2021) di Desa Belibak, Kec. Palmatak, Kepulauan Anambas. The provision of access to electric lighting and access to clean water, which are fundamental interests in supporting community activities, is a problem that is often encountered in certain areas, such as in Belibak Village which is a village located in the Palmatak District, Anambas Islands Regency, Riau Islands Province. Coastal areas and islands inhabited by fishing communities are often faced with limited access to basic needs, uneven development felt by the community, several factors that cause uneven development in archipelagic areas, one of which is the geographical location of an area that makes it difficult to enter development. Like the people of Belibak Village, who feel the impact of the geographical location, which makes Belibak Village have serious problems in the provision of clean water and the provision of electricity networks. \u0000ABSTRAK: \u0000Pembangunan pada masyarakat memiliki proses yang cukup melalui banyak tahapan yang bertujuan untuk tercapainya kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penyediaan akses penerangan listrik dan akses air bersih yang merupakan kepentingan mendasar dalam penyokong aktivitas masyarakat menjadi permasalahan yang sering dijumpai pada wilayah-wilayah tertentu seperti halnya di Desa Belibak yang merupakan desa yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Palmatak, Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Wilayah pesisir dan kepulauan yang dihuni oleh masyarakat nelayan sering dihadapkan dengan keterbatasan akses untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, tidak meratanya pembangunan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan tidak meratanya pembangunan pada daerah kepulauan salah satunya adalah faktor letak geografis sebuah wilayah yang menyulitkan masuknya pembangunan. This is the main problem of formal education there which leads to the low competitiveness of local children in the regional and even national arena. This study will discuss the situation and backwardness of rural communities downstream of the Tamiang River, Simpang Jernih District, East Aceh Regency, Aceh Province by looking at the dynamics that occur in formal schools. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods with data sourced from participatory observations in the region. Explain clearly the facts on the ground and to what extent they lag behind the relevance of today's education. By being exposed to the limitations of formal schools, the local community can invite further steps to address the limitations of the quality of these formal studies. \u0000ABSTRAK: \u0000Pendidikan Formal di Desa Tampur Paloh mengalami ketertinggalan dari segala aspek, khususnya di bidang komunikasi dan kelayakan sarana dan penunjang. Hal tersebut menjadi masalah utama pendidikan formal disana yang berujung menjadi rendahnya daya saing anak setempat di kancah daerah bahkan nasional. Kajian ini akan membahas keadaan dan ketertinggalan masyarakat pedalaman di Hilir Sungai Tamiang, Kecamatan Simpang Jernih, Kabupaten Aceh Timur, Provinsi Aceh dengan melihat dinamika yang terjadi di sekolah formal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data yang bersumber dari observasi partisipatif di wilayah tersebut. Menjabarkan dengan jelas fakta di lapangan dan sampai sejauh apa ketertinggalan mereka terhadap kerelavan pendidikan zaman sekarang. The tourist destination has been positively responded to by visitors whose number keeps increasing each year, and Kepenghuluan Rantau Bais has been recognised as a Tourism Village. Tourism in Tilan Island persistently transforms from festival tourism to regular tourism, starting from its opening every Saturday and Sunday. This study is a qualitative study that uses the ethnography method where the researcher lived for two months in Kepenghuluan Rantau Bais. The data was obtained using participative observation and in-depth interviews with an appointed informant who has a wide knowledge on tourism in Tilan Island. This research found that not all tourism potential in Tilan Island and Rokan River are explored to become tourist activities. ABSTRAK:Studi ini membahas tentang destinasi wisata Pulau Tilan, destinasi wisata yang dibangun atas inisiatif pemuda melalui wisata festival. Destinasi wisata sudah direspon positif oleh pengunjung yang datang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, dan diakuinya Kepenghuluan Rantau Bais sebagai desa wisata. Wisata Pulau Tilan secara bertahap bertransformasi dari wisata festival ke wisata regular dimulai dengan dibukanya wisata pada setiap hari Sabtu dan Minggu. Studi ini merupakan studi kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode etnografi dimana peneliti tinggal selama dua bulan di Kepenghuluan Rantau Bais. Teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam kepada informan yang ditetapkan karena pengetahuannya tentang wisata Pulau Tilan. The training and coaching activities include basic theory in dancing and playing traditional musical instruments which consist of three realms of artistic culture which include the palace, the coast and the hinterland. The Borneo Etnika Studio opened the activity in general to the wider community, then the studio as a supporting element in developing traditional arts also played its role in creating new works by participating in various kinds of performances and competitions as well as collaborating with the local government, one of which was UPTD Taman Budaya which is a facilitator in providing a place for the activities carried out by the Borneo Ethnic Studio. \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK: \u0000Sanggar Borneo Etnika merupakan salah satu sanggar di Kota Samarinda yang berdiri sejak tahun 2008 dan berubah menjadi komunitas pada tahun 2013 dengan fokus seni yang lebih luas. The method used to obtain data and information in this research is live-in with residents, while carrying out observations and interviews with informants in each stage of the cerbung fish production process as well as key informants. The results of the study show that the exploitation of cerbung fish has created a productive work cycle of ‘money printing' for many people so that this business can act as the economic locomotive of Perlis Village. Those involved as agents in this business are fishermen or fish catchers (men), women splitting and drying fish, boat and yard washers (fishing gear), ducklings, fish shovelers, canoe miners, and owners shop. \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK: \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengusahaan ikan cerbung dan akibat sosial-ekonominya sebagai penggerak perekonomian penduduk Desa Perlis, Kecamatan Brandan Barat, Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggal-bersama warga (live-in), sembari melaksanakan pengamatan (observation) dan wawancara (interview) dengan informan-pelaku di masing-masing tahap proses produksi ikan cerbung dan juga informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengusahaan ikan cerbung telah menimbulkan siklus kerja produktif ‘pencetak uang’ untuk banyak orang sehingga bisnis ini bisa berperan sebagai lokomotif ekonomi Desa Perlis. The existence of these collections is certainly very useful for writing history, especially the history of Java. Unfortunately, there are still many historical researchers in Indonesia who use colonial archival sources such as Besluit, Algemeen Verslag, Memorie van Overgave and documents such as Staatsblad, Rijksblad and Regeering Almanac instead of using existing historical manuscripts. This is due to the difficulties experienced by historical researchers in reading manuscripts which in terms of material are written by hand and use Javanese language and letters. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to catalog the manuscripts. The catalog of historical manuscripts in addition to containing the manuscript code number also contains a synopsis of the contents of the manuscript. This, in addition to making it easier for researchers to find manuscripts, also helps in understanding the contents of historical manuscripts from the Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran collection. The purpose of this service is to catalog the historical manuscripts of the Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran collection. \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK: \u0000Perpustakaan Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran mempunyai berbagai jenis manuskrip sejarah, meliputi sejarah dari periode kuno hingga modern. Keberadaan koleksi-koleksi ini tentu sangat bermanfaat bagi penulisan sejarah terutama sejarah Jawa. Sayangnya, masih banyak peneliti sejarah di Indonesia yang lebih banyak menggunakan sumber arsip kolonial seperti Besluit, Algemeen Verslag, Memorie van Overgave maupun dokumen seperti Staatsblad, Rijksblad dan Regeering Almanak dibandingkan memanfaatkan manuskrip sejarah yang ada. Hal ini dikarenakan kesulitan yang dialami peneliti sejarah dalam membaca manuskrip yang dari segi material ditulis dengan tangan serta menggunakan bahasa dan huruf Jawa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini diperlukan upaya katalogisasi manuskrip. Katalogisasi manuskrip sejarah selain berisi nomor kode manuskrip juga berisi sinopsis dari isi manuskrip. Hal ini selain mempermudah peneliti dalam menemukan manuskrip juga sekaligus membantu dalam memahami isi manuskrip sejarah koleksi Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran. So that researchers want to see further how community organizations deal with the Covid-19 pandemic as a disaster. More specifically, researchers want to analyze the adaptation of community organizations to the presence of Covid-19 as part of organizational disaster management. This will then be seen in more detail by taking one of the cases in a community organization based on empowerment in the fields of education and poverty alleviation, namely Project Child Indonesia. The topic of organizational adaptation will be the main topic of this paper. \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK:Selama ini literatur yang melihat hubungan organisasi masyarakat dengan pandemi Covid-19 cendrung melihat organisasi masyarakat hanya sebagai subjek yang memiliki pengaruh dan peran besar dalam membantu masyarakat untuk menangani Covid-19. Akan tetapi belum ada yang melihat hubungan organisasi masyarakat dan pandemi Covid-19 dengan melihat organisasi masyarakat sebagai objek dari hadirnya pandemi tersebut. Sehingga peneliti ingin melihat lebih lanjut bagaimana organisasi masyarakat dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 sebagai sebuah bencana. Lebih khusus peneliti ingin menganalisis adaptasi organisasi masyarakat terhdap hadirnya Covid-19 sebagai bagian dari manajemen bencana organisasi. Hal ini kemudian akan dilihat lebih rinci dengan mengambil salah satu kasus pada organsasi masyarakat yang berbasis pada pemberdayaan di bidang pendidikan dan pengentasan kemiskinan yaitu Project Child Indonesia.
