The proposed system is able to move in any direction by operating only one hand rim on one side. The hand rim can detect the user's operational intention by measuring contacting force and status of grasp and its style. The proposed system enables straight ahead, go back, gradual turn, pivot turn and stop based on the force being applied to the hand rim, whether the hand rim is grasped or not, and rotational speed of the hand rim. After the user operates the hand rim and releases it, the moving mode shifts to the deceleration mode. In the deceleration mode, the pseudo inertia deceleration is reproduced by motors. In this paper, the fundamental and 7-th harmonic component of the square wave voltage source are used for energy transmission and MOD, respectively. A double resonance and a single resonance structure are adopted by the transmitting (Tx) end and the receiving (Rx) end respectively, and the fundamental and 7-th harmonic component of the Tx current are large, and the 7-th harmonic component of the Rx current is extremely small. The conversion circuit is used to filter out the fundamental component of the induced voltage of the detection coil group, so that the Rx current has little influence on the filtered detection voltage, and the MOD allows the transmission coils to be misaligned. The 7-th harmonic component of the Rx current is used to increase the detection sensitivity, and a double-layer balanced detection coil set is designed to further increase the detection sensitivity. Thereby converging information technologies and automation play a crucial role. These goals do not only require new softwares and information models but also require hardwares that offer more intelligence and bring more agility in production systems. The current developments in field of sensors introducing sensor 4.0 is an example of adapting the hardwares to industry 4.0 requirements. This is also necessary for other participating hardwares such as control devices. The control devices must be also designed to act more intelligent and provide interfaces to the other technologies like cloud computing and Cyber Physical Systems. In this paper, a new architecture for control devices will be introduced that operates as a bridge between industrial automation applications and IT technologies and provides a virtual platform for tests and simulations that run parallel to the control procedure. To more comprehensively evaluate the performance of EKF and UKF, A first-order RC equivalent circuit model was used to characterize the dynamic behavior of a 30Ah lithium-ion battery. Based on the relationship between the Arrhenius formula, battery capacity, temperature and charge-discharge current accelerated stress, a fitting formula is obtained to predict the battery capacity degradation rate. Due to the fact that BDFIMs are attractive alternatives to doubly-fed induction machines for wind power generation, paying attention to their fault detection is essential. Existing fault detection methods for conventional induction machines can not be directly applied to the BDFIM due to its special rotor structure and stator winding configurations as well as the complex magnetic fields. In this paper a new fault detection technique based on stator current harmonic analysis is proposed to detect rotor eccentricity faults in the BDFIM. Such an analysis requires an accurate calculation of the input admittance of the converter. This paper presents a method to approximate the input admittance of the modular multi-level converter (MMC) observed from its AC and DC terminals using a linearized dynamic phasor model. A nonlinear dynamic phasor model using variables in the stationary ABC frame is developed and linearized. The linearized dynamic phasor model is verified against a detailed nonlinear benchmark PSCAD model including submodule switching. Frequency scans are applied at corresponding inputs of the linear model to obtain small-signal transfer functions representing AC and DC input admittances of the converter. Despite the environmental benefits made by RESs, their unpredictable power production is responsible of variations in the voltage of the distribution lines that can be disruptive for the functioning of the supplied loads. Electric Spring (ES) is a device that faces such an issue by stabilizing the supply voltage of the critical load of a user in a simple but effective way. This paper is concerned with the stabilization characteristics of a user load supplied by a low-voltage distribution line and equipped with a reactive power-operated ES. After working out an ES model that facilitates the analysis of an ES-equipped user load, its stabilization characteristics are found for three types of line impedance, namely pure resistive, pure inductive and resistive-inductive. This study analyzes the circuit architecture based on the simplification of equivalent models, by which parameters of resonant circuit are determined. Through the proposed design of a dual-output system, the balanced output power is seen to be achieved with higher flexibility. Experimental outcomes indicate that this proposed approach exhibits a satisfactory efficiency under various test scenarios. Test results concluded from comparisons between the proposed system and conventional system further supports the effectiveness of the auxiliary magnetic repeater for the increment of power transfer efficiency and system stability.
