The next part describes the calculation of the optimal configuration for take-off and landing of aircrafts of a performance class A. Calculations are performed by modeling the change in take-off and landing variables of a particular aircraft type. By calculations we came to the conclusion how these parameters affect the configuration for take-off and landing.","PeriodicalId":186247,"journal":{"name":"2019 New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131323342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different types of fire might require to use different, but always appropriate, fire extinguishers and agents. Some device to control a fire used years ago, could be found ineffective now. Today, a lot of manufacturers are entering markets with airport buildings construction materials which are less flammable then it was years ago. Certainly, a plenty of innovations in a production of firefighting extinguishers show progress and more effectivity too. In this paper, we bring some short overview on latest technological improvements used in the fire services. In our paper, we deal with four significant firefighting inventions. Namely they are: Cold Fire Extinguisher, Sonic Fire Extinguisher, Drones and Thermal Imaging Camera. The study describes their characteristics and specifics in the firefighting operations. Our intention was to introduce some firefighting devices which are easily and effectively used at accidents happening either at an airport or other parts of a country.","PeriodicalId":186247,"journal":{"name":"2019 New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"230 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116156904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different kinds of dangers negatively affect protected interests. Protected interests are defined according to the laws of the Czech Republic life and health of persons, property, infrastructure and the environment. These dangers need to be assessed and subsequently prepared against them. This can minimize the possible negative impacts of the danger. On the basis of the Czech methodical document Concept of Civil Protection until 2020 with a view to 2030, a Threat Analysis of the Czech Republic was created, which identified 72 types of dangers. The article deals with the project Risk Mapping in the Czech Republic, which deals with these types of dangers. The project follows philosophically the Analysis of Threats of the Czech Republic. One type of danger is air traffic accidents, which carry the potential to endanger the health and lives of many people and the great damage to property. The accident has a direct link to the airport infrastructure. The project identified categories and elements of vulnerability. The article focuses on one of the defined elements in the project and it is the airport - the category of transport infrastructure. The article includes an assessment of the airport's preparedness for a serious air traffic accident. At the same time, it points out possible new findings on the evaluation of preparedness in the form of the application of simulations and software tools.","PeriodicalId":186247,"journal":{"name":"2019 New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122657071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to enhance stability, different methods are available to suppress surge, one possible solution is recirculating air from compressor discharge into the blade passage to control blade load distribution. This paper has the aim to investigate the effect of surge suppression holes on the stress distribution in a centrifugal compressor impeller hub. The authors have conducted a conjunct fluid dynamics and structural stress survey to explore the different loads acting on the impeller under various cases including maximum flow as well as near surge condition.","PeriodicalId":186247,"journal":{"name":"2019 New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126660120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Auxiliary power unit is used as a source of electrical power on the ground and it can be also used in the event of dissipation of an engine generator. An electrical system is essential component of the most simplistic aircraft designs. System complexity and capacity varies between different types of engines. Auxiliary power unit is also designed to provide bleed air by diverting some compressor discharge air from the path to the combustor and into the airplane duct system.","PeriodicalId":186247,"journal":{"name":"2019 New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128577629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
