A descriptive cross-sectional survey design was employed, multi-stage sampling technique was adopted to sample the rural communities and the respondents, and the sample size is 100. The study reveals that the identified agricultural opportunity during entrepreneurial training pushed youths into agribusiness (71%), resilience strategy for agribusiness is still strange (62%), thinking creatively has become strategy to grow agribusiness (91%) and, inability to get job pushed youth into agribusiness (71%). It therefore recommends that further training is still needed for the survival and resilience of the agribusinesses.","PeriodicalId":186110,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Business and Innovation Research","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139350587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the extant literature is gorged with studies on mobile payment technology adoption behaviour, empirical investigations that examine the predictors of continuous use of mobile payment platforms in a typical developing economy with huge informalities is lacking and under-reported. The broad objective of this study is to empirically investigate the factors that influence the continuous use of mobile payment platforms in South-east, Nigeria. In order to achieve this objective, positivism was adopted as the research philosophy while the area of study comprised Enugu city, Awka, Umuahia, Abakaliki and Owerri. The study population comprised active users of mobile payment platforms. The sampling technique adopted was quota sampling and a sample size of 600 respondents was statistically determined using Bill Godden Formular. The research instrument was questionnaire; validity test of the instrument was done using face and content validity while the reliability test was conducted using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The hypothesized relationship was tested using Multiple Linear Regression. It was found out that effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, intrinsic motivation and prior experience were positively significant to continuous intention to use mobile payment platforms while performance expectancy and price value are not. It was concluded that when used for predicting continuous intention to use mobile payment platforms in the innovation marketing field, the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology should be extended to include variable such as prior experience. It was recommended that mobile payment service providers should design and develop incentives that will encourage frequent usage, they should use social media influencers among others.","PeriodicalId":186110,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Business and Innovation Research","volume":"49 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139350581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rationalized by the diffusion of innovation theory, a survey was conducted with 400 respondents to gather data on their exposure to digital advertising, their attitudes toward it, and their actual purchasing behaviour. To achieve the research objectives, two hypotheses were formulated and tested to examine the inter-relationships among the variables. The results showed that as consumer perception of digital advertising increases, so does the likelihood of them making a purchase. Also, the more positive their perception is, the more likely they are to be influenced by various factors that drive their purchasing decisions. However, the effectiveness of digital advertising varied depending on the relevanc, credibility of product or service being advertised, with some products benefiting more from digital advertising than others. Additionally, consumers' attitudes towards digital advertising played a role in their purchasing behaviour, with those who had more positive attitudes being more likely to make a purchase. The study concludes that digital advertising can be an effective tool for marketers to influence consumers' purchasing behaviour, but it is important to understand the nuances of how it affects different types of products, services and how consumers perceive them.","PeriodicalId":186110,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Business and Innovation Research","volume":"214 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139359157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This helps ensure that public organizations uphold their obligation to provide end users with necessary services. This study's main goal is to explore the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance. It does this by employing both descriptive and exploratory research designs using both primary and secondary instruments to collect data. 100 employees of the Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, the Enugu State Civil Service Commission, the Enugu State Economic Planning Commission, and the Office of the Head of Service completed a structured questionnaire that served as the primary data source. While secondary data came from government papers, textbooks, the internet, and journal publications. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (IBM SPSS) was used to analyze the collected data and evaluate the hypotheses. The analysis's findings indicate that organizational norms have a significant impact on employee commitment within an organization in terms of professional growth and development, recognition and rewards for good performance, clear communication of the organization's goals and values, and a positive work environment. Additionally, a well-structured work routine has a significant impact on how much work is completed by employees by improving productivity, time management, and work quality. The study makes the urgent recommendation that the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) under review establish and uphold strong organizational norms that encourage employee commitment with a particular focus on professional growth and development, recognition and reward for good performance, clear communication of organizational goals and values, and a positive work environment that fosters performance. It's important for leaders to be aware of their preferred styles and to adapt them as necessary to create a positive and productive work environment. Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) should promote employee delivery on workload with a view to ensuring productivity, time management, and adaptability.","PeriodicalId":186110,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Business and Innovation Research","volume":"20 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139358948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study is based on primary data. From the maximum likelihood estimates of the logistic model, it is found that the variables, years of education, years of experience, wage rate, grade, and working years at the present company have significant positive effects on the logit of the outcome variable Y, but the variable age of the companies has a significant negative effect. From the estimated odd ratios, it can be said that the male group is 3.0695 times more likely than the female group to be a skilled worker, which is significant at a 10% level; a group of rural workers is 10.3727 times more likely than the urban group in favour of skilled workers, which is significant at a 15% level; a group of workers have a training program degree is 38.5552 times more likely in favour of skilled workers, than a group of workers who have not, which is statistically significant at any significance level. The estimated results of squared correlation between Y and , pseudo-R2, Mcfadden’s , Maddala’s , and Count-R2 support that the model fits the data very well. Based on the findings, different policies are formulated for the sustainable development of Bangladesh's garment sector.","PeriodicalId":186110,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Business and Innovation Research","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139359095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study used secondary data methodology to obtained annual report and sample of 28 out of 68 listed manufacturing firms on the Nigeria stock exchange over a period of ten years 2013-2022. The findings revealed significant and positive relationship between corporate governance and financial leverage of listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria. Specifically, the board size coefficient is positive and statistically significant at the 0.01 level and shows a significant positive relationship between board size and financial leverage. The results further indicate a significantly positive relationship between CEO duality and leverage. The coefficient of dual in the model is positive (coef=0.402) and is significant (t=2.640) at the 0.01 level. However, board composition revealed a negative but significant relationship with financial leverage of the listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria. It is recommended that management of manufacturing companies in Nigeria should always display creativity that will ensure good corporate governance so as to significantly drive down the gearing level of their companies.","PeriodicalId":186110,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Business and Innovation Research","volume":"78 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139359138","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
