The purpose of the article: to consider the data on the classification of the Turkic languages, to study the borrowings given in the dictionary, to consider the data on the distribution area of the Turkic languages. The results obtained: the classification of the Turkic languages according to the degree of their confusion is expounded, the groups of Iranian borrowings are established, in the work of M. Kashgari, the first map of the Turkic-speaking world is considered according to the dictionary.
