This paper focuses on the several machine learning techniques which are used in analyzing the sentiments and in opinion mining. Sentimental analysis with the blend of machine learning could be useful in predicting the product reviews and consumer attitude towards to newly launched product. This paper presents a detail survey of various machine learning techniques and then compared with their accuracy, advantages and limitations of each technique. On comparing we get 85% of accuracy by using supervised machine learning technique which is higher than that of unsupervised learning techniques.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114823299","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Opportunistic networks are based on the spontaneous response of the nodes and permanent links among the nodes almost absent. Due to self-organized nature of opportunistic networks and other diverse features, these networks have many security threats such as how to protect the data confidentiality, integrity, privacy as well as the trust among the nodes. In this paper, we propose a security algorithm for opportunistic networks. Our algorithm uses dynamic IDs for key exchange mechanism and RSA for the message encryption. The analysis shows that proposed algorithm is capable of fulfilling the security requirements of opportunistic networks.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133764748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

No human can possibly know about all the medicines and the diseases. So, the problem is that there isn't any place where anyone can have the details of the diseases or the medicines. What if there is a place where you can find your health problem just by entering symptoms or just scanning an ECG or you can check whether the prescribed medicine is supposed to be used the way you are told to. Then it will help us to deduce the problem and to verify the solution. The proposed idea is to create a system with artificial intelligence that can meet the requirements. The AI can predict the diseases based on the symptoms and give the list of available treatments. The System can also give the composition of the medicines and their prescribed uses. It helps them to take the correct treatment. Hence the people can have an idea about their health and can have the right protection.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125789979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is also very popular due to its ability for sensing and measurements. In the low energy form, we have narrowband IoT (NBIoT). It is preferred in healthcare sector due to its low energy requirements. There are several proposals for the implementation of NBIoT in the healthcare sector. NBIoT has been standardized and it has perfect compatibility with cellular platforms such as LTE. Therefore in the recent times, NBIoT is a good choice for healthcare related applications. However, the security measures and other system related challenges are the biggest threats for NBIoT. If these issues and challenges are handled properly it can be one of the most suitable and popular choices for the low power wide area implementations of healthcare. In this article, we present these main issues and challenges found in the NBIoT regime right now. We also present some potential solutions to handle these problems.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"154 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125962407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Everyday millions of reviews are generated in the internet about a product, person or a place. Because of their huge number and size it is very difficult to handle and understand such reviews. Sentiment analysis is such a research area which understands and extracts the opinion from the given review and the analysis process includes natural language processing (NLP), computational linguistics, text analytics and classifying the polarity of the opinion. In the field of sentiment analysis there are many algorithms exist to tackle NLP problems. Each algorithm is used by several applications. In this paper we have shown the taxonomy of various sentiment analysis methods. This paper also shows that Support vector machine (SVM) gives high accuracy compared to Naïve bayes and maximum entropy methods.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"173 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131760302","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But with the swift advancements in network technology, attacks are becoming more sophisticated than defenses. Although firewalls and router-based packet filtering are essential elements of an overall network security topology, they are not enough on their own. So, to brace the network from unauthorized access the idea of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) is attracting security experts. This paper briefs various trends in Intrusion Detection & Prevention. To understand various techniques in IDS, this paper analyses various approaches proposed by security researchers specifically using popular open source software Snort as their IDS tool. Being an open source IDS, Snort can be easily configured and deployed in any environment. To assess the efficiency, these research papers are analyzed in various performance aspects like Detection Accuracy, Scalability and Capability of detecting unknown attacks. To overcome various challenges like low detection rate, incapable of handling huge traffic, unsupported automated tuning, etc. that are identified during literature review, this paper proposes a level based architecture. All the levels are designed as incremental i.e. capable of providing the desired functionality and also its lower levels. To prove the efficiency of the proposed architecture, it can be integrated into Snort Tool using Code Refactoring. Also proposed an environment setup to evaluate the modified Snort Tool performance in future.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"70 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134004697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The abnormalities in retinal fundus images due to DR are lesions which includes Micro aneurysms and Haemorrhages. An automatic detection of abnormalities like Micro aneurysm and Haemorrhages in colour fundus images is important to grade the diabetes level of patients in an automated system. The proposed method to detect the abnormalities in retinal fundus image is based on dynamic shape features and SVM classifier. Red lesion detected using two important aids. The first is candidate detection based on pixel classification. Using this technique vasculature and red lesions are separated from the back ground of the image. After removal of the connected vasculature the remaining objects are considered possible red lesions. Second the detected candidates are used to train the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier. The abnormalities detection accuracy of the proposed method is about 90% for diartedb1 database and 80% for stare database by cross training.","PeriodicalId":185697,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT)","volume":"30 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116742223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
