In the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) era, competition among enterprises has become increasingly fierce. Most enterprises use automated testing to replace traditional manual testing to improve production efficiency and product quality. This paper investigates the current inspection process in the manufacturing industry. It proposes and designs an automated inspection system for sandwich filling coverage and thickness for sandwich production to replace the original manual inspection. After simulation and comparison of the improved production line, it was finally verified that the modified production line could improve the yield and quality of sandwiches and can help manufacturers save human resources.","PeriodicalId":185510,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121951682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Trans-portation and the livestock industry are large generators of Greenhouse Gases (GHG), and therefore environmental criteria must be considered in the decision-making. This paper, part of an ongoing research on the design of milk and dairy supply chains with environmental considerations, proposes a mixed integer programming model for the milk collection problem with heterogeneous fleet with CO2minimization criterion. Validation of the model was made using the Gurobi solver over 15 randomly generated instances, optimally solved, and compared to a distance minimization model. The results show the prevalent use of the largest and most polluting vehicles, in particular, to cover routes with a greater number of farms far from the factory. Also, results suggest that the distance of routes can increase by up to 70% if emissions are optimized, and emissions can increase by up to 20% if distances are minimized. Finally, future research work is proposed.","PeriodicalId":185510,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133624421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The prediction model used in the model predictive control algorithm is a linear time-varying (LTV) bicycle model that depends on the velocity. To ensure stability and recursive feasibility regardless of the velocity change, the LTV model is transformed into a polytopic linear parameter-varying (LPV) model using the tensor product model transformation. This model is used to offline solve the robust LQR problem and form the terminal set and terminal cost for the online optimization problem. Furthermore, the same model is used to compute a robust N -step controllable set to the terminal set. In the online optimization problem, the states of the system are constrained in this set to guarantee recursive feasibility. The proposed control algorithm is tested in simulation and experimentally on a laboratory-scale car.","PeriodicalId":185510,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132183246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is the case for the work environment, with the use of technological tools and home offices. In contrast, harmful aspects have been amplified, such as stress that affects occupational health. Lately, considerable interest has been gained in the affective domain in improving the occupational situation using empathic responses. In this work, we study the effect of machine empathic responses such as blue light, relaxing music, and the combination of light and music on people performing stressful tasks in an occupational environment. Thirty five participants tested different stimuli, eleven tested the music condition, twelve the light effect, and another twelve the combination of light and music. The monitoring of the heart rate variability along with psychological measures show that empathic responses can help reduce humans stress levels.","PeriodicalId":185510,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"125 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127634192","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hybrid system is a set of a photovoltaic panel as the main energy source, a fuel cell and a storage system based on a supercapacitor power bank. The fuel cell has a weak point from the point of view of slow dynamics since the power slope is limited to avoid problems of lack of fuel cell. The very fast power response of a supercapacitor complements the slow power output of the fuel cell to produce the necessary compatibility and performance characteristics in a DC load. Each source is connected to a DC/DC converter. Optimal control has been processed to ensure power sharing between sources and load. In this article, the detailed description of the hybrid system, the modeling of the DC/DC converters and the optimal control are provided. Finally, numerical simulations under Matlab/Simulink are presented in order to validate the efficiency of the energy management algorithm.","PeriodicalId":185510,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127241301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This environment has been developed in the framework of the XILforEV project and the presented case is focused on a ride control with a real suspension installed on a test bench in Spain, which uses real-time information from a complete vehicle model in Germany. Given the long distance between both sites, it has been necessary to develop a specific delay compensation algorithm. This algorithm is general enough to be used in other real-time co-simulation frameworks. We consider various equipment subject to uncertain failures that need to be monitored and repaired by a central maintenance workshop (CMW). We focus on the associated preventive maintenance actions, which require optimal scheduling. A mobile maintenance workshop (MMW) aims to transport all the resources to systematically replace the equipment with spare parts provided by the CMW following the predefined schedule. We propose a general framework and a model to minimize the maintenance and routing costs while optimizing equipment reliability. The novelty of the proposed model is the reduction of computation time through the proposition of heuristic methods while considering capacity constraints and various types of equipment. We perform several instances of problems in the oil and gas field. The studied approach optimizes the location of the CMW and the capacity of the MMW, solving the NP-Hard Problem.","PeriodicalId":185510,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117070848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
