It has terrible implications on daily living, public health, and the global economy. Finding positive examples as soon as feasible is difficult. There are only a certain amount of covid test kits available because of the daily rise in cases. Implementing an autonomous detection system as a speedy alternative diagnosis option is essential to stopping the future spread of this epidemic and to treating afflicted persons as soon as possible. Combining radiological imaging with the use of cutting-edge AI tools can be beneficial for the precise diagnosis of this illness and can also help distant areas who lack expert medical care to find a solution. In this project, we have used double deep neural networks to develop an automatic detection of Covid (Convolutional-Neural-Network model, VGG-16 model). Covid chest X-rays will be used as the history data. It will be determined whether the chestX-ray image is covid positive or covid negative.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114491237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To prevent this occurrence, the air condition inside the cubicle need to be controlled at a safe level. In this study, we maintain an ideal air condition with Arduino-based humidity and temperature control system using ATMEGA328 microcontroller. This system was installed in the 20 kV cubicle at Lokomboro Micro Hydro Power Plant and then tested for performance. From the test result it was found that the system was able to control the humidity and temperature inside the cubicle at 45 % and 26 0C, respectively. By controlling humidity and temperature values at ideal condition, the corona appearance that damage the equipment has been prevented. This installation showed operational, financial, and company image benefit for PT. PLN since it has prevented loss due to damage of equipment and also maintained electrical power reliability.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"14 10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126142502","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Phytochemical screening and antimicrobial activity of Mangifera indica leaves extract on some isolates from dental cavities was studied. The leaves were randomly collected from a local farm in Agbani Nkanu West L.G.A Enugu State Nigeria. The leaf samples were morphologically identified, washed, air dried at room temperature for 48 days and milled into powder with a milling machine in Chemistry Department, Enugu state University of Science and Technology. The solvents used for extraction were ethanol, methanol, N-hexane and water. Ethanol and methanol extracted most of the bioactive ingredients, followed by water and N-Hexane. The phytochemicals screened were; terpenoids, steroids, glycosides, phenols, saponins, tannins and alkaloids. The extracts were divided into dialyzed and undialyzed fractions. The dialyzed fraction was done for 48 hours in a refrigerator. Organisms isolated from dental cavities were; Streptococcus mutans, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, lactobacillus spp, Candida albicans. The antimicrobial activity was determined using agar well diffusion method and the result showed that the dialysed extracts of ethanol and methanol had higher sensitivity against the dental isolates than the undialyzed extracts. Streptococcus mutans was the most inhibited organism with inhibition zones of 12mm and minimum inhibitory concentration of 6.25mg/ml. Hence, dialysed ethanol and methanol leaf extracts of Mangifera indica can be used as an adjunct therapy for dental cavities.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114182602","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The bagasse ash was obtained from Costus bracteatus Rowlee. Lateritic soil samples collected along a newly constructed road in Rivers State, Nigeria were prepared and analyzed for effect of the composite stabilizer on maximum dry density (MDD), optimum moisture content (OMC), consistency limits, California bearing ratio (CBR) and unconfined compressive strength (UCS). The results revealed that swelling potential, volume change MDD, OMC, liquid limit (LL), plastic limit (PL) and plasticity index (PI) of the stabilized lateritic soil decreased with increasing proportion of cement-bagasse ash composite, while CBR (unsoaked and soaked soil samples) and UCS were with increasing proportion of cement-bagasse ash composite. This study established that the optimum proportion of bagasse ash is 8% and that inclusion of an appropriate proportion of bagasse ash in cement in soil stabilization would enhance the properties of soil suitable for road pavement. Therefore, Costus bracteatus Rowlee is recommended to be used in soil stabilization, particularly as composite material.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132617902","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent decades there is change in the climate and urban development causing increase in the risk of flash flood for human population. Remote sensing and geographical information system playing a very important and feasible role in assessment of the flash flood over a decade. This paper describes the synergetic use of Synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) data to delineate and mapping of the flooded area at its peak. The methodology was tested on the flash flood event that occurs in Jhajjar and Rohtak districts of Haryana in July, 2022. Four Sentinel-1 Synthetic-aperture radar data were acquired and pre-processed, two images are acquired before the occurrence of the event and two SAR images were acquired after the event. For the identification and demarcation of the flooded area, the rule-based classification approach was used. The results of the study suggests the scope of using multi-temporal Sentinel-1 VV polarized C-band SAR data to develop an operational flash-flood area identification and framework.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131463657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this work is to examine the influence of ECAP on the behaviour of Lead alloy. The technique was applied to Lead alloy at room temperature using route C, at channel angles of 450, 600, 750, 900 and 1050. The materials were processed up to five ECAP passes. Hardness test, impact test, and microstructural changes of the processed materials were examined. Results show that extrusion force reduces as the strain level increases and that dynamic recrystallization and structural changes reduce the material hardness for all angles of ECAP. All the angles absorbed their least amount of energy at their 5th pass. Analysis of microstructure images also revealed that increasing the strain level leads to break down and dissolution of Antimony rich precipitate.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128740110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Iodine titration was utilized for the determination of vitamin C in the different samples. The highest amount of vitamin C concentration observed in Citrus sinensis was 95 mg / 100 ml whereas Citrus reticulate showed low levels of 82 mg / 100 ml. The same tendency was observed in packed citrus juice, with the effect of cold temperature as though the content of vitamin C was less than in fresh citrus juice. Results revealed that; there is a loss of vitamin C content in all four storage conditions (days), Vitamin C reduces differently in citrus juice samples stored in different conditions. On the Fourth day Table 1. The rate at which vitamin C is lost depends on the temperature and time methods employed. It has been found that the hot environment provides the conditions for fast decay of vitamin C content and the room environment provides the conditions for slow decay of vitamin C content. In present analyzed samples values are different because of the fact that the composition of content vitamin c depends upon environmental factors. Hence it is always suggested to consume fresh juice rather than packed and stored one.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131620166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In extreme conditions, autonomously scattered sensor nodes pose a high risk of failure and intrusion into the IoT, skewing sensor values. Abnormal data, anomalies, or outliers are sensor values that depart from norms. When abnormalities are factored into data analytics, the ultimate judgment is affected. Using data-driven algorithms for IoT outlier detection is a cutting-edge tactic in Machine Learning (ML). However, evaluating the effectiveness of implemented ML techniques for outlier detection in IoT, which have the minimal processing power and power sources to ensure data quality, raises several difficulties that have just recently begun to be addressed in the academic literature. This paper analyses the cutting-edge architecture, type, degree, technique, and detection mode of AI and statistical outlier detection strategies in IoTs. Also, each of the ways to find outliers is talked about in detail, along with ways to make them better.","PeriodicalId":185348,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121234807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
