To establish its geometric and functional parameters, the value of the induction of the generated magnetic field and the uniformity in its central area were taken into consideration. Numerical modeling of the generated magnetic field was performed in Comsol Multiphysics. The characteristics of the YBCO type HTS superconducting material were also taken into account. The coils will be made in the form of double buckets of superconducting tape, the chosen configuration being Helmholtz type. Radulescu","doi":"10.36801/apme.2022.1.4","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36801/apme.2022.1.4","url":null,"abstract":"In the paper, based on the linear dynamic behavior models of the electrical and magnetic subsystems of the induction machine with three-phase symmetrical stator winding and polyphase rotor winding (cage type) in short circuit, the values are represented, in the complex plane confused with the cross-sectional plane of the machine and the instantaneous polar angular positions of the amplitudes of the progressive (spinning) plane waves of the instantaneous resultant solenations of the machine windings, and correspondingly, the spatial phasors representative of the instantaneous electrical circuit scalar quantities of the stator phase windings and rotor equivalents of the machine are defined. The simplified device doesn’t consider the rotational speed transmission from the inner magnetic rotor to the outer magnetic rotor, which is considered mechanically blocked. The numerical simulation analysis considers a parametric study to address the influence of the dimensions of the outer magnets on mechanical torque by introducing a shape factor and by maintaining the same area of the outer rotor magnets. The efficiency of the wireless power transfer system strongly depends on the geometric parameters of the inductive coupler, which in turn have an important effect on the electromagnetic parameters of the whole system. The transmitting (Tx) and receiving (Rx) coils of the inductive coupler proposed in this paper have a Double-D planar structure and are located on magnetic cores made of magnetic concrete (Tx) and ferrite (Rx), respectively. Petrescu","doi":"10.36801/apme.2022.1.3","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36801/apme.2022.1.3","url":null,"abstract":"One of the most common requirements in modern industrial applications is to minimize the costs associated with the operation, maintenance and possible repairs of the component systems. In industrial processes, induction motors are the most commonly used electromechanical converters in electrical drive systems. The extensive development of power electronics, as well as the relatively low manufacturing cost of asynchronous motors has determined a very high incidence of the presence of induction motor drive systems in industrial systems. The use of semiconductor devices to control the drive parameters of induction motors facilitates the tuning of the system and thus greatly improves its flexibility. However, the optimal use of such electric motors is limited due to the possibility of specific defects caused by the quality of the power supply. In this context, this paper proposes an analysis of the defects that frequently appear in the case of induction motors in industrial electrical drive systems as a result of deviations from the quality of the electrical energy of their power system parameters. Two deviations from the energy quality are mainly investigated, namely, the imbalance of the voltage value applied to the motor phases, respectively the harmonic distortions of the waveforms of the voltages applied to the motor. Contact resistance in electrical connectors occurs due to both constriction resistance (caused by narrow paths in which the current flows through the electrical connector) and film resistance (oxidized metals caused by the high resistivity of materials and impurities from the atmosphere etc.). By developing this module, a major advantage is offered to people with disabilities, who have movement difficulties. By implementing this command on a wheelchair, people can move independently using this machine that can be controlled from a touch screen. In this direction, the user has the possibility to choose the following directions of movement of the car: forward-backward and left-right, as well as the possibility to impose the speed of movement. Comeagă","doi":"10.36801/apme.2022.1.14","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36801/apme.2022.1.14","url":null,"abstract":"The paper presents the assessment of the electric output rendered by a unimorph and a bimorph piezoelectric harvester, with one and two active piezoceramic wafers, using numerical simulations. Expected sinusoidal voltages were obtained in a time-dependent study, with a time step corresponding to the eigenfrequency found after conducting an Eigenfrequency study. The terminal voltages obtained agree with the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and with the distance of the piezoelectric layers from the neutral fiber. By adding an electric circuit node to the electric field problem to form a closed internal circuit, a single unified sinusoidal voltage response should be obtained, coinciding with the input vibration signal.
