The objective of the study is to uncover, describe, and explain the meaning of symbolic interaction in the towing process by the Towing Officers from the Office of Transportation West Jakarta when they deal with the illegal parking committing four-wheeled vehicle driver communities on 2020. At the same time, the objective of the study is also to uncover the obstacles that the Towing Officers from the Office of Transportation West Jakarta should deal with when they have to ticket the illegal parking committing four-wheeled vehicle driver communities in 2020. Theoretically, symbolic interaction refers to the social life which basically deals with the interaction between the human beings and the use of the symbols. Therefore, symbols are not formed by mental force but, instead, symbols appear due to the manings that the human beings have assigned. Thus, the specific focus of the study is to uncover how the Office of Transportation West Jakarta has made use of the symbols that represent the information within the towing process. \u0000In conducting the study, the theory of Symbolic Interaction developed by Herbert Blummer was adopted in order to analyse the meaning of symbolic interaction in the towing process among the Towing Officers from the Office of Transportation West Jakarta in dealing with the Illegal Parking Committing Four-Wheeled Vehicle Driver Communities. In relation to the statement, the method that had been adopted was the case study. The data for the study were gathered by means of three techniques namely: (1) observation; (2) in-depth interview; and (3) documentation. For guaranteeing the data validity, the source triangulation was adopted. Then, the results of the study show that the towing process by the Office of Transportation West Jakarta contains the symbols that have been represented to the communities. However, there are still arguments between the communities and the Towing Officers when the symbols are displayed during the transfer of the vehicles.","PeriodicalId":184745,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Humanities and Social Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129554547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This came to many as a surprise because of the human and natural resources Nigeria as a nation has, if well harnessed she can occupy a central stage not only in Africa but the world at large. This article through discursive analysis tried to examine pleonexia, a psychological disposition that encourages people into an insatiable desire to amass wealth or community goods and services at the expenses of others. The findings of the study suggest that greed could be the main reason why corruption has become part of the Nigerian society with all its consequences often felt by the common man. The study recommends that change of lifestyle through education, prosecution of public servants that are found guilty of embezzling public funds and the public mentoring of the younger generation could be the way forward for a better Nigeria.","PeriodicalId":184745,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Humanities and Social Studies","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125593045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Liberalization of markets in the developing countries, according to them, promotes exports and it will create economic perfection by intensifying competition between domestic and external economic actors and exposing management and workers to improved practices Did the market liberalization policies of Ethiopia is helpful? This paper surveys the literature and provides its own assessment of the nexus between private sector and trade liberalization in connection with export promotion. The country's step wise liberalization process has shown some favourable prospects for investment and growth. However, the next steps, liberalizing the capital account and leaving the exchange rate to be determined in the market, among other things, require a skillful design. The capital account which is still left unliberalized has to wait for some time till the economy ensures a sustainable capacity of generating foreign currencies. Otherwise economic instability would follow and consequently, the reform process would be as stake.","PeriodicalId":184745,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Humanities and Social Studies","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116067909","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The central objective of this study is to investigate the causes and drivers for uprooting the Rohingyas and forcing them to leave their ancestral land and to unveil the distressing and destitute situation of the Rohingyas from the refugee camps. The evidence that emerges from this study is that the Government of Myanmar is deliberately involving in the extermination and forceful displacement of the Rohingyas for political, ethnic, religious, and economic ends. Reacting to what is happening in the Rakhine State of Myanmar, a top United Nations human rights official considered a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing”.
