However, allocating resources in the cloud is not instantaneous; it takes several minutes for a virtual instance to be initialized. The obvious solution to this issue is to predict the future need of computing resources and allocate them before being requested. In this paper, we present a workload forecasting model based on the Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) model for both Gaussian and non-Gaussian processes. In the proposed method, the technique of Higher Order Statistics (HOS) is used in conjunction with the ARMA model to identify the appropriate forecasting model in case of Gaussian and non-Gaussian processes. Based on Takagi — Sugeno fuzzy model and applying Lyapunov function with a PDC command and some lemma, sufficient conditions are developed. These conditions proposed concerns tow systems one contain the uncertainties parameters and another one without uncertainties parameters with external disturbances. Finally, to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theorems tow examples are presented: The first example deals with problem of fuzzy control stabilization for wind turbine generator with external disturbances. In this paper, we propose a feature extraction scheme based on wavelet analysis which is used along with short-term features. To overcome the drawbacks of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), we propose to combine Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) with Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) features. The combined features were used as inputs to K-nearest neighbors (Knn) classifier. The effectiveness of the proposed method is investigated for closed-set text-independent SIS in clean and noisy environments. Since for them, an image is only a matrix of values, knowing what structures a human would recognize in this image, is a nontrivial problem. In this paper, we have implemented and tested a system of detection of road signs. The approach taken in this work consists of using convolutional neural network where this network is supposed to distinguish between different classes of signs (stop, attention etc.) and the final model will then be integrated to the autonomous cars. It is an important unsupervised technique more and more frequently adopted by several research communities. In this paper we introduce an enhanced kernel-based method for data transformation. The method is founded on the maximum entropy principle through the kernel entropy principal component analysis. Incorporating the kernel method, the input space can be implicitly mapped into a high-dimensional feature space. Therefore the nonlinear patterns turn linear. The key measure is Shannon's entropy estimated via the inertia provided by the contribution of each object in data. As a result, the proposed method uses kernel mapping function to map data before performing entropy principal component analysis. Then data could be reduced into lower dimension of valuable extracted features. This has a major effect on the fast search of center clusters based on the local densities. It forms core research area within engineering and computer science disciplines too. This paper describes a proposal design for image processing in Verilog and that can be applied for any format of images like jpg, gif, bmp etc. The main advantage of using Verilog to simulate DIP of any logical inputs is related with the possibility of an immediate FPGA based hardware implementation. Our algorithm is designed in Verilog and simulated using the Matlab and Modelsim. In fact, the input image is converted to text/pixel using Matlab and results are stored in a new text file. Using Verilog with test bench program, the inputs, outputs and memory locations are assigned in the form of text file. Then, the output texts file back to image after a conversion step using Matlab. A comparative study between HDLs Simulation and Matlab are conducted. Obtained results show well the efficiency of the proposed design. The main idea of the proposed method consists in exploiting the temporal information for matching the stereo images acquired at the current time by involving the stereo images acquired at the preceding time. Three pairs are considered in the matching process, i.e., the current, the left temporally adjacent and the right temporally adjacent omnidirectional stereo images. All the three stereo pairs are used together in order to overcome the problem of blind spots near the epipoles. The proposed approach is achieved in three main steps. The first step performs the spherical rectification on the three input pairs. In the second step, we apply the proposed dynamic programming-based stereo matching algorithm on the resulting three rectified pairs. Disparity ranges for each scanline are computed from the v-disparity maps generated based on the disparity maps computed at the preceding time. This reduces the matching candidates and speeds up the matching process. In the final step, we combine the three disparity maps into a single 360° disparity map. The major elements relevant to E-Government interoperability are conformance and compliance and there are a large number of Government applications that are available on the web. It is very difficult to automate interoperability because of the heterogeneity in the development of these. E-Government applications, the heterogeneous platforms on which the applications run, the complexity of web interface that is not machine-friendly and the Non-standard format used for data input/output. By definition, this latter permits to consider relation between color subbands by using straightforward univariate models, and thus avoiding cumbersomeness of multivariate fitting. The ERP information is modeled by three well known circular distributions namely, VonMises (VM), Wrapped Cauchy (WC) and Vonn. All the three models present, advantages of simple feature extraction (using maximum likelihood estimation) and similarity measurement (known forms of Kullback-leibler divergence) steps, which extremely helps for the runtime issue.
