On enterprises' side goals are make more profits by reducing costs or increasing incomes. In the case of content-based web sites their goals is to spread its contents among web users. An automatic ontology learning method is developed for the search engine result analysis, which trains ontology with world knowledge of hundreds of different subjects in a multilevel taxonomy. This ontology is then mined to find important classification rules, and these rules are used to perform an extensive analysis of the content of the largest general-purpose Internet search engines in use today. Instead of representing collections as a set of terms, which commonly occurs in collection selection, they are represented as a set of subjects, leading to a more robust representation of information and a decrease of synonymy. Parallelizing the web search results incorporated with Bookshelf Data Structure owe to the simplistic applicability of the aforementioned strategy, and the use of simple data structure. The method was also used to analyze the content of the most popular search engines in use today, including Google and Yahoo. In conclusion, this research paper focus on the ontology based semantic web search results visualization using BSDSC(Book Shelf Data Structure Code) based on BookShelf Data Structure. Finally, the search results are presented in visual mode, which allows a user to navigate between extracted schemas.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127200149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

TCP was originally designed for wired links where the error rate is really low and actually assumed that packet losses are due to congestion in the network. But TCP performance in wireless networks suffers from significant throughput degradation and delays. TCP uses congestion control and avoidance algorithms which degrades end-to-end performance in wireless systems. In this paper we have analyzed the performance of TCP variants, which were designed to improve performance in wireless networks. An ns-2 based simulation analysis of TCP Tahoe, TCP Reno, TCP New Reno, TCP Sack, TCP Vegas and TCP New Jersey is done. The effect of Random Packet Loss Rate and mobility on the TCP variants was studied. Experimental studies show that TCP Vegas performs better than the other variants.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127351547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parameters to be optimized in high-level synthesis such as power, area and delay are mutually conflicting necessitating trade-offs during the implementation. For complex designs, the design space to be explored is vast. This paper proposes a weighted sum genetic algorithm for optimization of datapaths during high-level synthesis using graded penalty cost function to perform simultaneous scheduling and allocation. GAs being population based, are ideal for searching the large solution space involved. The proposed technique has been evaluated on HLS DSP benchmark circuits like IIR filter and DCT filter and has been found to yield better power aware solutions than a single objective GA, simultaneously optimizing area and delay. The framework provides a large number of alternative datapath designs, all of which meet user design specifications but differ in module, register and interconnect configurations. An average of about 15.7% power reduction on DCT filter and 13% power reduction on IIR filter were obtained.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124923638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DWT can provide significant compression ratios without great loss of visual quality than the previous techniques such as the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). This work provides a Qualitative analysis between the conventional VLSI implementation techniques as against a fast realization approach discussed in this work. It is expected to provide a reduction in Hardware Complexity and also increase in computational speed with an efficient area optimization.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126627187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a new lossless image compression method is proposed. For continuous and discrete time cases, wavelet transform and wavelet packet transform has emerged as popular techniques. While integer wavelet using the lifting scheme significantly reduces the computation time, we propose a completely new approach for further speeding up the computation. First, wavelet packet transform (WPT) and lifting scheme (LS) are described. Then an application of the LS to WPT is presented which leads to the generation of integer wavelet packet transform (IWPT). The proposed method, Integer Wavelet Packet Transform (IWPT) yields a representation which can be lossless, as it maps an integer valued sequence onto the integer valued coefficients. The idea of Wavelet Packet Tree is used to transform the still and color images. IWPT tree can be built by iterating the single wavelet decomposition step on both the low-pass and high-pass branches, with rounding off in order to achieve the integer transforms. Thus, the proposed method provides good compression ratio.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114910274","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem with these systems is that unless one visits the lab it is not possible to know the temperature values of IVF laboratory as well as operation theatre and incubator. Frequent visits to these places cause the increase in the temperature values, which may further affects culture medium kept in incubator. If the temperature of the operation theatre is higher, than the incubator, the culture medium will not be survived for more than 1 hour. Hence it is required to maintain the temperature of the operation theatre same as the incubator. The distributed system we have developed is used to monitor the temperature of the IVF laboratory as well as incubators used to freeze the culture medium in IVF laboratories. The temperatures of IVF laboratory & operation theatre are made available at doctor's desk on a single click in GUI as well as the same will be displayed on LCD located at reception hall.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"726 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116132178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new method, called, diagonal based feature extraction is introduced for extracting the features of the handwritten alphabets. Fifty data sets, each containing 26 alphabets written by various people, are used for training the neural network and twenty different handwritten alphabets characters are used for testing. The proposed recognition system performs quite well yielding higher levels of recognition accuracy compared to the systems employing the conventional horizontal and vertical methods of feature extraction. This system will be suitable for converting handwritten documents into structural text form and recognizing handwritten names.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114511705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The signal may be audio, pictures or video, for example. If the signal is copied, then the information is also carried in the copy. A signal may carry several different watermarks at the same time. This paper gives the clear idea of use of watermarking in copyright protection systems, which are intended to prevent or deter unauthorized copying of digital media. In this use a copy device retrieves the watermark from the signal before making a copy; the device makes a decision to copy or not depending on the contents of the watermark.","PeriodicalId":184011,"journal":{"name":"2011 3rd International Conference on Electronics Computer Technology","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114607424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
