Besides, fluid (e.g. water) coupled with structure will strongly affact the modal performance of structure. To get clear the modal performance, Modal tests are conducted for two-layered plate both in air and in water, and modal frequency and mode shape are given. With comparative analysis of modal frequencies in these two cases, it’s shown that influence of fluid on structural vibration is obvious, which will results in significantly reduction of modal frequency, and the maximum reduction is the second mode, and it is more than 42%. But it’s also noted that influence of fluid on mode shape is little.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91035316","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Structures with appropriately combined materials within the supporting structure are able to withstand higher loads and overcome larger spans. Effective structural solutions can also be achieved by combining materials such as cross laminated timber, concrete, and steel. The result is the achievement of a more efficient construction and at the same time achieve an aesthetic, but also an ecological structure, furthermore, creating a slimmer ceiling structure can ensure financial savings. In order to achieve the maximum use of the potential of the structure, it is necessary to create suitable structural connections. By creating a suitable joint among the ceiling decks and the beam, it is possible to create a load-bearing ceiling structure that behaves like a continuous deck. In this paper, numerical analysis of selected types of joints are performed and compared. During the examination, an adjustment has been made for alternative joint variation. After updating the proportions of components in this specimen, alternative sample of joint was able to withstand loads applied during analysis. Examined joint connection offers alternative to original joint connection.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"2015 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135261636","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This trend has several consequences. One of them is the overheating of the urban climate and the associated increased need for energy for cooling. We are trying to eliminate this negative impact by creating green structures on buildings. As such, greenery brings a number of benefits. It helps to cool buildings, but also the urban climate, through the shading effect of leaves and the evaporation of trapped water. There are a number of studies around the world that investigate green roofs, or green facades. The effect of green leaf area index on cooling by shading and the effect of the distance of the façade from the envelope are investigated. Another influence is the orientation to the cardinal directions and the careful selection of plants. One of the main factors influencing the functionality of green facades is the choice of plants in relation to the climatic conditions in the country. In this article I discuss the adaptation of green facades to the climatic conditions in Slovakia. In Slovakia this issue is minimally studied and green facades occur only sporadically or only seasonally.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135262169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Photovoltaic grid-connected system is currently the most widely used form of photovoltaic power generation system. It converts direct current into alternating current and injects it into the grid to meet the power demand of users. However, the power grid imposes a series of requirements on grid-connected photovoltaic systems, one of which is the handling of harmonic problems. This article will focus on harmonic generation and how to perform THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) mitigation. As the key equipment of photovoltaic grid-connected system, inverter plays an important role in harmonic filtering. With a brief introduction to inverter-related THD. In this paper, by exploring how to optimize harmonic filtering to improve the performance and reliability of grid-connected photovoltaic systems, it is found that the method of suppressing THD by changing the PMW modulation is simple in calculation, easy to implement, and has high output waveform quality. And the method of suppressing THD by changing the equipment can reduce the harmonic quality.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135317135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, suppressing leakage currents is a major problem for Non-isolated PV inverters. This paper focuses on the leakage current suppression methods, summarises three main leakage current suppression paths and systematically analyses and classifies the DC-bypass topology, the H5 topology and the Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) three-level topology. In order to address the issue mentioned above, several approaches can be taken. Firstly, a suitable sinusoidal pulse width modulation strategy is implemented. Additionally, alterations are made to the common mode impedance Z. Furthermore, efforts are made to ensure a proper match of circuit parameters. The analyses in this paper are all carried out based on bridge-type inverters to provide a reference for the study of leakage current suppression in Non-isolated Inverter. Future studies will be more efficient when similar issues arise.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135317704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

UCNPs are a new kind of luminescent material based on the anti-Stokes reaction of rare-earth ions. Their advantages lie in the doping of rare-earth ions in the luminescent material, which has a high signal to noise ratio and strong fluorescence intensity, has a long fluorescence lifetime of approximately 100 milliseconds, good bio-compatibility and low toxicity. The emission band is narrow and has high penetration power and there is less damage to the matrix and interface. Nowadays, detection technologies based on UCNPs and interdisciplinary integration have laid a solid foundation for the development of new detection methods and instruments in fields such as bioanalysis, bioengineering, and materials, and have been widely applied in various fields. To this end, this research will explain the basic principle of UCNPs and the influence of lanthanide factors. This article deals with the chemical composition of four types of alternative fuels: solid non-separable waste, solid non-separable waste with more plastic content, linden leaves and maize husks. The measurements were realized on a CHN628 analyzer and an energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The chemical composition of the fuel is connected with the composition of emissions during their combustion. Results showed an increased chlorine content in each sample, then sulfur content (except maize husks) and also nitrogen content in the case of two samples (solid non-separable waste and maize husks). In the case of the content of toxic elements, no relevant concentration was detected in investigated samples. Therefore, it is not suitable to burn waste in conventional solid fuel heat sources. Heat source users should only use permitted fuels that are recommended by the heat source manufacturer.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135103836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This model is based on discretized heat equation complemented by analytical-empirical relations, that are used to compute heat fluxes between selected nodes of interest and to set boundary conditions of the whole system. Stability issues of numerical solution of the set of ODEs arising from the discretization are addressed. Validation is performed using known analytical solution of simple heat transfer cases such as heat conduction in plane wall with volumetric heat source. The model can be utilized as a stand-alone tool for an initial estimate of temperatures reached in a newly developed device. It can also be tuned by data from measurements or large CFD simulations. Then it can serve for prediction of behaviour of the device in longer time frames or under different operating conditions than those measured or simulated by CFD.","PeriodicalId":18309,"journal":{"name":"MATEC Web of Conferences","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135103853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
