Heterogeneous microstructures cause variable internal stress levels, which strongly impact the material’s macroscopic mechanical properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique can be applied to determine microscopic internal stresses by peaks broadening analysis, which can be related to the degree of cold work at the microscopic level. As deep drawing is a complex deformation mode, an important motivating factor to perform such a study is to find the correlation between anisotropy and XRD peak broadening through tensile deformation tests. Therefore, the initial mechanical state and different deformed states were analysed by in-situ XRD peak broadening under tensile tests in various directions in the rolling plane of mild steel sheet, for both the elastic and plastic deformation domains. The results showed that the XRD peak broadening gives accurate estimations of deformation degrees. In the elastic domain, under realistic assumptions, a relation between the relative variation of peak broadening and the applied stress σ, like Hooke’s law, was obtained by exploiting the linearity between the peak broadening and the elongation measured by the strain gauge. This formula may be used to deduce The Young’s modulus. Interesting empirical relations between peak broadenings, macro deformations and hardness have been also established for the studied sheet in the plastic deformation region. Moreover, XRD peak broadenings were able to characterize the anisotropy of deformation in the rolling plane of the sheet. The influence of the initial powder mixture and the subsequent heat treatment (post-printing treatment) on the anisotropy of the elastic properties of the alloy was evaluated. It was shown that the proposed treatments can reduce the anisotropy of the elastic properties of the alloy. The results of the theoretical estimation of the elastic and shear moduli, Poisson’s ratio, and their anisotropy in the horizontal and vertical directions of 3D printing are presented, using elastic constants of the single crystal and texture characteristics determined by X-ray diffraction. It is shown that the obtained theoretical values deviate from the corresponding experimental ones by 6–10%. In particular, the method of assessing the wear resistance of deposited metal at room (20°C) and elevated (600°C) temperatures, as well as the thermal resistance of deposited metal was improved. Designs of samples and optimal test modes, which simulate their real operating conditions, were chosen. The introduction of the boron microadditives in the amount of 0.01% leads to an increase in the operational properties of the deposited 25Kh5FMS and 35V9Kh3SF steels in 1.2–1.6 times. This work is focused on developing a laminate of date palm seed powder and neem gum powder reinforced epoxy resin. Epoxy resin is an excellent thermoset polymer with anoutstanding cost to performance ratio. Date palm seeds have highly competitive properties in improving the mechanical and thermal properties of composites by their good adherence to polymer matrix. Neem gum powder is used as a binder in increasing ratios of 0 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 %, 25 %, and 30 % to test their strength in different compositions. Date seed powder has been reinforced in decreasing weight percent as 30 %, 25 %, 20 %, 15 %, 10 %, 5 %, and 0 %. The specimens prepared through the compression moulding technique were subjected to various mechanical tests like a tensile test, flexural test, and impact test as per the ASTM standards. Fractography analysis using FESEM (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy) and FT-IR(Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy) test have determined the surface characteristics and chemical composition of the samples. The result shows that, by adding neem gum powder in increasing quantities the mechanical properties like tensile and flexural decreases. However, it does not affect the impact strength of the material. TM has also been known as the prevalent anti-corrosive agent. It can be added to a liquid or gas to slow the pace of a chemical reaction (in the case of a material – typically a metal or alloy – that corrodes when it encounters the fluid). Many antibiotic compounds, such as TM derivatives, diiron salt dihydrate, and diiron salt tetrahydrate, have active groups that can stop metal from corroding. Spectroscopic methods like XRD (X-ray difraction), FTIR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), UV-visible (ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy), and TGA (thermogravimetric analysis) were used to study the TM drug. Similarly, the OCP (open circuit voltage) technique was introduced to assess the corrosion resistance and the density of current vs. voltage. Finally, this study revealed that TM drugs could be suggested for introduction as corrosion inhibitors due to their simple production and the fact that they have many active groups that exhibit the ability to coordinate with carbon steel.
