Water and plankton samples were collected from fish ponds (tambak), Kali Buaya channel and sea. Questionnaires were administered to 25 farmers. Results of water quality analyses showed that Holtekamp coastal water is characterized with higher concentration of BOD5 (Biological oxygen demand), N-total, COD (chemical oxygen demand) and TOM (total organic matter) 4.96 mg/l, 4.19 mg/l, 33.53 mg/l, and 22.18 mg/l, turbidity (7.02 NTU) and TSS (total suspended solids) 201.67 mg/l were higher in Kali Buaya chanal and PO4-P (2.08) in fishpond. {"title":"Keanekaragaman dan Asosiasi Intra-Spesies Tumbuhan Lamun di Perairan Manggari Pulau Numfor","authors":"M. Baransano, E. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2016 sampai Januari 2016, di perairan laut Kampung Manggari, Pulau Numfor. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian observasi, puporsive sampling dam transek kuadrat. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 8 jenis lamun yaitu Enhalus acoroides, Halopila minor, Halopila ovalis, Halodule uninervis, Halodule pinifolia, Cymodocea serullata, Cymodocea rotundata dan Syringodium isoetifolium. Indeks keanekaragaman (H¢) jenis lamun tertinggi terdapat pada transek 1 dengan nilai 1,66, sedangkan terendah pada transek 3 dengan nilai 0,94. Terdapat 28 pasangan asosiasi jenis lamun dan hanya 15 pasangan asosiasi yang bersifat nyata, dimana 8 pasangan asosiasi jenis lamun yang bersifat nyata pada taraf kepercayaan 5% yaitu 3,48, dan 7 pasangan asosiasi jenis lamun bersifat nyata pada taraf kepercayaan 1% yaitu 6,63 (X2 hitung > X2 tabel). Berdasarkan analisis tipe asosiasi terhadap 15 pasangan asosiasi yang bersifat nyata dari hasil uji chi-square, diketahui bahwa 7 pasangan asosiasi lamun memiliki tipe berasosiasi positif dan 8 jenis berasosiasi negatif. However, there is no data and information or adequate scientific studies regarding the level of suitability of the area and carrying capacity of the environment so that it is feared that it can affect the comfort and safety of visitors, which is actually a reference in the management and development of a tourist area, so that sustainability is also constant maintained and can be sustainable. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of suitability of the Hamadi Beach area as a tourist location at Jayapura City and find out the carrying capacity of the Hamadi Beach Tourism Area. The research was conducted in December 2018 to May 2019 in the coastal tourism area of Hamadi, Tobati Village, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City, Papua Province. The method used is the method of observation and literature. The results obtained from the study showed that the suitability level of the Hamadi Beach area as a tourist location in Jayapura City with the tourist suitability index at station 1 was 91.43% (S1 category or highly suitable), station 2 was 91.43% (S1 category or highly suitable) and station 3 is 74.29% (S2 category or suitable), with the average suitability value of all stations is 85.72% classified as S1 category or highly suitable. The closed waters become Nature Tourism Areas. Population growth in the bay area is increasing and the rapid development activities in the coastal area, for various purposes such as settlements, fisheries, ports, tourism objects, cause increased ecological pressure on coastal and marine ecosystems and resources. This study aims to determine the potential of biological resources through an inventory and identification study, coral reef and the status and condition of coral reef ecosystem health through lifeform analysis and the Coral Death Index. Data collection on coral reef ecosystems is carried out at 2 (two) stations using the LIT (Line Intercept Transect) method. The results found overall the range of percentage of coral cover in the range between 48.44 to 50.26%, while the coral mortality index (MI) ranged from 0.19 to 0.32 at both stations. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Desember 2018 sampai Februari 2019 di Laboratorium POLTEKES (Politeknik Kesehatan) Jayapura dan Laboratorium Jurusan Ilmu Kelautan dan Perikanan (Universitas Cenderawasih). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif, yakni penggambaran secara akurat pemeriksaan atau skrining senyawa-senyawa bioaktif dan pengujian aktivitas antijamur dari objek kajian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ektrak bintang laut L. laevigata memiliki kandungan senyawa fitokimia berupa flavonoid, steroid dan saponin. This abundance has a tendency to explain the level of fertility in the sea waters of Enggros Village. The study was undertaken in April 2018. The method of this study is using random sampling in four stations and these samples were analyzed in the Laboratory of Management of Coastal Resources, Ottow Geisler University, Jayapura. The data from samples were analyzed by using excel software to describe the result from each station. The result showed that 7 genera of plankton consisting of 5 genera phytoplankton, namely Thalassionema, Pleurosigma, Skeletonema, Ceratium and 3 genera zooplankton they are Calanus sp, Clausocalanus sp, Acatia sp. The abundance of Thalassionema (177 sel/L) has significant at station I, while the abundance of Ceratium (22 sel/L) has lowest values at station III. The total abundance of the plankton has fluctuated in each station. Keberadaan ekosistem terumbu karang dapat berdampak pada ekonomi dan pengembangan wilayah pesisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi tutupan karang hidup dan nilai manfaat ekonomi dari ekosistem terumbu karang di perairan Tablasupa. Pengamatan kondisi tutupan karang hidup dilakukan dangan menggunakan metode Point Intersept Trasect (PIT) pada kedalaman 3 m di 2 stasiun penelitian. Sedangkan nilai manfaat ekonomi ekosistem terumbu karang diperoleh dengan menggunakan konsep valuasi ekonomi untuk menghitung nilai manfaat secara langsung maupun manfaat tidak langsung dari potensi ekosistem terumbu karang yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kondisi tutupan karang hidup di perairan Tablasupa berada dalam kategori sedang hingga baik dengan tutupan karang hidup berkisar antara 34,0% - 52,5%. Jenis karang hidup yang dominan adalah Coral branching dan Coral massive, Acropora branching, Acropora submassive dan Acropora tabulate. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kandungan, pengaruh sinar, dan pengaruh pH terhadap pigmen klorofil Thalasia hemprichii. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah (1) pengukuran kandungan secara in vivo, (2) ekstraksi aseton, (3) iradiasi, dan (4) uji pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa purata kandungan klorofil Thalasia hemprichii pada kedalaman 1 m = 15,42 spad/cm2, kedalaman 2 m = 17,82 spad/cm2, dan kedalaman 3 m = 19,01 spad/cm2. Pengaruh sinar merah selama 7 jam iradiasi menyebabkan degradasi pigmen di daerah Qx = 26,77% dan pada daerah Qy = 29,05% per jam, sedangkan iradiasi cahaya polikromatik selama 7 jam menyebabkan degradasi pada daerah Qx = 52,81% dan pada daerah Qy = 54,80%. Hasil uji pH menunjukkan bahwa klorofil lamun Thalasia hemprichii bersifat stabil pada pH 7 (netral), mengalami degradasi pada pH bersifat asam dan basa. Kajian penelitian plankton di perairan Teluk Tanah Merah belum banyak dilakukan sehingga penting untuk dilakukan. penelitian mengeanalisis Kelimpahan Plankton dan Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Pelagis Kecil di Teluk Tanah Merah Kabupaten Jayapura perlu untuk dilakukan. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling, pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 9 titik yang di kelompokan kedalam 3 stasiun pengamatan. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan Regresi linier sederhana, APHA dan Shannon – Wiener. Hasil penelitian ditemukan fitoplankton terdiri dari 4 kelas yaitu Bacillariphyceae, Desmidiaceae, Clorophyceae, Cyanophyceae dan 56 genus. Zooplankton terdiri dari 3 kelas yaitu Crustaceae, Ciliatea, Monogononta dan 39 genus. Total kelimpahan fitoplankton 1.149,95 ind/m3, dan zooplankton 1.149,95 ind/m3. Pengumpulan data lapangan dilakukan pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2015 yang terdiri dari tiga stasiun penelitian, yaitu Kampung Enggros, Kampung Tobati, dan Kampung Nafri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah survey, wawancara, dan point center quarter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mangrove yang ditemukan di Kampung Enggros, Kampung Tobati dan Kampung Nafri adalah 10 jenis mangrove yang terdiri dari 7 jenis mangrove sejati (Acrosticum spesiosum, Avicennia alba, Bruguiera cylindrica, Ceriops decandra, Rhizophora apiculata, Sonneratia alba, Xylocarpus menkongensis) dan 3 jenis mangrove asoasiasi (Casuarina sp., Derris trifolia, Pandanus tectorius). Kerapatan relatif R. apiculata tertinggi di Kampung Enggros dan Tobati (42,5% dan 75,0%), sedangkan kerapatan relatif A. alba tertinggi di Kampung Nafri (45,95%). R. apiculata memiliki frekuensi tertinggi di Kampung Enggros, Tobati dan Nafri (42,5%, 75,0% dan 45,95%). A. alba dan R. apiculata memiliki frekuensi relatif tertinggi di Kampung Nafri (45,95%). Tingkat dominansi tertinggi adalah R. apiculata di Kampung Enggros (49,69%) dan Kampung Tobati (73,03%), sedangkan A. alba di Kampung Nafri (52,21%). Indeks nilai penting tertinggi ditemukan di Kampung Tobati untuk jenis R. apiculata 223,03%. Pemanfaatan mangrove oleh masyarakat di Kampung Enggros Tobati dan Nafri sebagai kayu bakar, bahan bangunan, bahan obat-obatan, bahan pengawet jaring, serta bahan dempul dan cat perahu.
