MUSIC method is paid attention as one of \"superresolution\" DOA estimation methods because of their brilliant characteristics, however MUSIC also has the problem of estimation accuracy in severe environments like low SNR, small number of snapshots, or incident waves from close angles. We now pay attention to the fact that the second-order differential of the MUSIC spectrum makes negative peaks around the original DOAs even when the MUSIC spectrum does not make peaks there. This embedding technique is based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) and pseudo number (PN) sequences. In the conventional method, deformations, such as rotation and scaling have given a serious defect to the extraction rate. To solve this problem, a new data embedding position and the processing by the resolution of scanner itself are applied. The gain control method is also improved. The 26 one-half fractional factorial experiment is conducted to observe the GA and biquad parameters that might significantly affected the level of compensation. The proposed method embeds data in images and extracts data from images in the spatial domain. This method restores the original image as well as extracts hidden data from an image conveying hidden data. The proposed method uses one and only one parameter for each image to control embed and extract data. An image is divided into several blocks, and the image feature description for the block is hidden into the corresponding block itself. Hidden descriptions extracted from an image and generated from the recovered image are compared to detect tampering. The image quality of an image with hidden data is high so that nobody is aware that data are hidden. As the first step toward realizing high-performance antennas on lossy Si substrates, we clarify the design methodology and basic characteristics of inverted-F antennas used for the 7-GHz band corresponding to multi-band OFDM UWB group3 spectrum allocation. An inverted-F antenna along with a low-noise amplifier (LNA) are designed and fabricated using a 0.18-mum mixed signal/RF CMOS process with one poly and six metal layers. Comparisons between measured and calculated antenna gain characteristics are made. Measured antenna gain is about -25 dB in the multi-band OFDM UWB group3 frequency band. A practical solution to meet these demands is a safety aware, high-performed, and sophisticated single chip processor. According to this scheme, we have exploited a hardware cryptography-embedded multimedia mobile system composed of a dedicated processor called HCgorilla. A promising cipher technique conceived from this system is RAC (random addressing cryptography). Abstracting the potential feature of RAC from HCgorilla, we focus in this article the development of a multimedia stream cipher engine. Especially, for the motion blur, various PSF estimation algorithms have been developed so far. However, a majority of them becomes useless in the highly noisy environment. This paper describes a new robust PSF estimation algorithm based on Hough transform concerning gradient vectors, which can accurately and robustly estimate the motion blur PSF even in highly noisy case. The channel impulse response plays an important role in estimation of the transmitted symbol. However, due to the long spreading codes, the time-varying effect makes the channel estimation difficult. For this case, a blind channel estimation algorithm called TCA (transpose column-averaging) and its simplified algorithm are proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithms are easily implemented, and can be used not only in the system with aperiodic spreading codes but also in the system with short (periodic) spreading codes.
