The fact is that the quality of education services in Indonesia is not evenly distributed, for example in villages and cities or in normal and special needs students (ABK). Dyslexia is a specific learning disorder that affects reading difficulties that have difficulty calculating and writing. These symptoms are 5-10% of children in the world. This disorder occurs in individuals with normal or high intelligence levels. This study focuses on instructional communication between teachers on dyslexic children. The subjects of this study were the teachers who taught at Cibungur Elementary School and Limusnunggal Elementary School Sindangpalay Village, Cibeureum Subdistrict. The purpose of this study was to find out the instructional communication that was built by the teacher on dyslexic children and the methods taken in delivering instructional messages to dyslexic children. The above problems can be answered through research using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data is obtained through observable words, interviews and actions, and the rest of additional data such as documents, archives and others. Interpersonal communication is an important part of the instructional process of teachers and dyslexic children. Not only an interpersonal approach, teachers are required to determine the right way to improve reading skills in children. The purposes of this study as follows, to describe the process of implementation in parenting education program, to describe the process of evaluation in parenting education program, and describe the result of parenting education program. The subjects of this study are Ar-Rahman Darul Ilmi Elementary School teachers, and parents of the third-grade students who are involved in the implementation of parenting education program.  The data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, and documentation. Aliran ini juga mengkritisi kurikulum yang dikembangkan dengan sifat fleksibilitas. Kurikulum yang disusun dengan asas fleksibilitas dipandang akan menjadi dasar yang mudah goyah dan tidak menentu. Terlebih bagi kaum akademisi yang notabene membutuhkan peningkatan keilmuan dari segala bidang. Peneliti yang merupakan praktisi ESP selama delapan sebagai Kepala Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Bahasa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo pada saat penelitian ini berlangsung  merasa perlu mengungkap lebih dalam dan ingin mendeskripsikan program yang dirasa mempunyai signifikansi pada penggalian bakat berbahasa Inggris mahasiswa ESP (English for Specific Purposes) yang ada di Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Adapun yang disebut mahasiswa ESP di sini adalah mahasiswa non-program studi pendidikan Bahasa Inggris seperti prodi akuntansi, ilmu pemerintahan, komunikasi, keperawatan, kebidanan, informatika, dan lain-lain yang mendapatkan mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris untuk tujuan tertentu sesuai dengan bidang ilmunya. Berbagai program telah dicanangkan dalam rangka peningkatan SDM yang berkaitan dengan penguasaan Bahasa asing khususnya Bahasa Inggris diantaranya adalah English Learning Day, Video Field Trip, English Community, dan English Talent Competition. Namun pada penelitian ini, peneliti hanya ingin konsentrasi pada pelaksanaan English Talent Competition (ETC) yang telah berlangsung sebanyak tiga kali mulai tahun 2014 sampai dengan tahun 2016. The descriptive quantitative method was employed in this research. The samples of the research were business management of MBIS-W41/15 which consists of twenty one students. To collect the data, the writer used questionnaire to know the students’ perception with storytelling technique and vocabulary test to know whether the final test score of the students have a significant progress or not. Storytelling technique deliver a good method to support,moyivate, and encourage knowledge. It can be seen that students were encouraged to be actively and motivately in learning process. Based on the reserach finding, it can be conclude that storytelling technique can improve vocabulary skill and give good atmosphere in teaching learning process. Using storytelling students more interesting and understanding new words. They can work together and share idea to encourage new knowledge which discuss in topic of their lesson. On the other side, there are many news in various media which issues the confusions between Islamic Mission becoming the spirit of Islamic students organizations and the practice of some cadres in field such as fighting among islamic students and destroying campus or public fasilities. The recruitment curriculum of cadre is very important thing to be analyzed more deeply considering from where it will be seen the direction of this students’ movement working, the background and spirit of organizations. Therefore, the researcher focuses on something important to be analyzed especially related to the role of islamic student organization of extra campus on the forming of students’ character of IMM cadre in UIN Sunan Kalijaga.  The selection  of organization around UIN Sunan Kalijaga is chosen because of the location in Yogyakarta, in which mostly becomes a place for the establishment of student organizations and UIN Sunan Kalijaga itself has a massive organization climate.This research aims to describe the role of islamic student organization of extra campus in the forming of student characters by using a qualitative approach with the subject of research (informant) consisting of Abdul Karim and Khairunnisa. The metodes of data collection used are interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses Milles Huberman model with data reduction technique, data presentation, and conclusion.The results of research show that: Firstly, The implementation of cadre curriculum IMM is as the method which has Guide in DAD called insructor amounted three people whose duty give introduction before presenter, guides the course of the class, companion fgd/fanel, looking for speakers until accountable for up to six months after the rescheduling charged by committe. The method of study which consists of lecturing, question and answer, fgd/sgd, panel, group dinamics and debate. Cahyono","doi":"10.24269/dpp.v6i1.817","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24269/dpp.v6i1.817","url":null,"abstract":"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil dari implementasi pendidikan berbasis multikultural melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada mata kuliah pendidikan ilmu sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian secara purposive. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pada indikator pengamatan kasus/ masalah,  kerjasama mahasiswa semakin meningkat dalam hal melakukan pengamatan suatu kasus serta tidak ada tendensi pada kelompok tertentu; (2) Pada indikator mandiri mencari literasi penyelesaian kasus ,mahasiswa secara mandiri telah melakukan kegiatan pencarian literasi dalam penyelesaian masalah, dosen hanya sebagai fasilitator; (3) Pada indikator sikap demokratis, secara demokratis mahasiswa menyampaikan solusi masalah dan memberikan kesempatan yang sama mahasiswa lainnya tanpa melihat budaya yang dominan di kelas; (4) Pada indikator berinteraksi dengan berbagai kelompok dalam menciptakan suasana akademik menunjukkan bahwa interaksi mahasiswa dengan antar kelompok masih kurang, keaktifan mahasiswa masih dominan pada kelompok kecil saja.","PeriodicalId":178230,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Dimensi Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-02-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132703489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
