Female prisoners have significant unmet needs related to transitional menopause experience because a majority of them are illiterate and from an underprivileged class and limited access to health services. Our objective is to explore the menopause experiences of women incarcerated in jail. \u0000METHODOLOGY: A semi-structured questionnaire was used, 48 women were interviewed using face-to-face interview technique. Participants were selected by convenience sampling. The study was conducted in Kot Lakh Pat jail Lahore among female prisoners, age ranging from 40 to 60 years. \u0000RESULTS: Mean age of women was 45.4 +4.6 years, about 44(91.6%) were aware of menopause, while only 4(8.3%) were aware of its health effects. 44(91.6%) of female prisoners viewed it as a natural process, and 4(8.3%) viewed it as a disease. 41(85.4%) of women are happy with the transition to menopause, while 7(14.5%) are anxious and want to menstruate again. There were statistically significant differences in the Somatic symptoms and psychological symptoms (p<0.05). \u0000CONCLUSION: The majority of female prisoners were concerned about symptoms even though they did not go for consultation due to a lack of information and health services in prison. To increase public health awareness and reduce the magnitude of menopause-related symptoms, there is a need to develop health care services in the context of treatment and prevention for women prisoners in their present locality.

The aim is to evaluate NTL ratio as a prognostic factor in diabetic foot syndrome and its importance in diabetic wounds. \u0000METHODOLOGY: Descriptive cross-sectional study was to evaluate NTL ratio for prognosis of DFS. All cases were assessed for smoking, body mass index, presence of wound, glycated hemoglobin level, peripheral limb ischemia and infection. Patients were examined for a period of 12 months to assess wound if it resulted in minor amputation (below the level of ankle), major amputations (below/above knee amputation), chronic wound or completely healed wound. Chi-Square test was applied for categorical data. \u0000RESULTS: Total 100 patients were included and 61% were smokers. Average BMI was 31.7 and 34.5 in males and females. Complete wound healing found in 18% cases after debridement and chronic wounds in 15% patients. Subjects had to undergo major (above ankle) 16% and minor (below ankle) 51% amputations. Mean NTL count was 3.5 in fully healed wounds, 4.3 in chronic wounds, 6.9 in major amputations, and 5.2 in minor amputations. As the p-value indicates, there is a significant relationship between healed wounds, minor amputations, Chronic wounds and major amputations and the NTL ratio. \u0000CONCLUSION: Results revealed NTL ratio has independent prognosis in DFS for anticipating wound upshot. This case report represents the treatment of 2nd mandibular molar with irretrievable and unable to bypass separated instruments in the mesiobuccal canal of the mesial root. After sectioning the tooth, mesial root with the crown portion was extracted, and the remaining part of the tooth was restored as a premolar. Restorative rehabilitation was done by cementing a three-unit metal ceramic bridge. The good outcomes of endodontic treatment and patient demand towards the conservation of tooth encouraged the procedure of hemisection. For the preservation of terminal mandibular molars with irretrievable and unable to bypass separated instruments, hemisection can be considered as an alternative treatment option our objective is to conserve terminal mandibular molar with adequate bone support as a replacement in this area is complex, time consuming, and costly.

Furthermore, these biomechanical alterations are investigated in-depth, and several orthotic interventions are proposed to combat these changes; nevertheless, it has yet to be determined whether or not orthoses are advantageous during pregnancy. The objective of this study is to make a comparison and correspond biochemical variants(to analyze the difference) of fasting blood glucose, serum magnesium, and major lipid analytes (serum total cholesterol and triacylglycerol) in diverse medical groups of both T1DM and T2DM. \u0000METHODOLOGY: It was a cross-sectional observational study carried out at Sahiwal teaching hospital, Sahiwal, Pakistan, including 250 research participants. The study used a traditional time-bound sample size of 6 months starting from first March to August 2021through a random selection approach. \u0000RESULTS: Out of 250 participants, 200(80%) of whom(omit) had diabetes mellitus (DM), The number of men with diabetes 110(55%) was greater than the percentage of women with diabetes 90(45%) in this study. 52(26%) of the research participants had T1DM, whereas 148 (74%) had T2DM.
