However, its main issue is that it's associated with dependence on the local environmental conditions, it's affected by wind speed, which causes oscillations in the output power of the generator, resulting in an unreliable system. Although using the fixed speed method leads to mechanical problems in case of turbine exposure to wind above the required level. Meanwhile, variable speed wind turbines were used with different types of generators depends on many causes. The doubly-fed induction (DFIG) generator is one of these generators. It's a wound rotor type induction generator it provides a variable speed system with fixed output power. This paper will be presenting the stand-alone performance of DFIG using variable frequency drive (VFD) to improve variable speed constant frequency (VSCF), it will be implementing the system practically and by MATLAB simulation.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"341 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124217096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

RDF appeared earlier, but it is generally larger and the data is more redundant. In the property graph, a graph is defined by properties, nodes and edges. It is easier to set property to the edges, which is more helpful for the description of the graph, so it is of great research significance to transform RDF graph to property graph. However, because the structure of RDF and property graph are naturally different, transforming RDF to property graph needs to solve the distinction of nodes and properties while ensuring the uniqueness of the nodes, supporting multiple labels and empty labels in a single-label graph database and other difficulties. In this paper, through analyzing a variety of serialized data, we proposed a specific mapping mechanism to solve the first issue. Through the method of storing the label information of the node with additional fields, we have successfully solved the second issue. Finally, through experimental verification of a specific dataset, we found that the converted data volume was reduced by about 10% to 20%, and it can successfully complete the query requirements in different scenarios.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114479831","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The antenna consists of several parallel strip dipoles of different lengths. Using more than one strip dipole helps in providing the broadband characteristics. To realize a wide frequency band of operation, the antenna is fed from 50 Ō coaxial connector through a matching stub of different widths. A truncated ground plane is used as a reflector to achieve high front-to-back (F/B) gain ratio. Design and analysis of the antenna were performed using electromagnetic simulations, to validate the performance of the antenna. The antenna provides end-fire radiation pattern with high gain, low cross polarization level and wide beam width. The single element antenna yields a |S11| <-10-dB bandwidth of 60.3% (23.4-43.5 GHz) and a gain of 7.64 -10.4 dBi. A low mutual coupling of < -20 dB for a 5.5-mm center-to-center spacing 0.58λ at 32 GHz. The simulation results show that the antenna with the merits of average gain of 9 dBi, stable radiation patterns, low cross polarization, and low back lobes, is exhibiting potentially use for the applications of 5G wireless communication systems.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116891653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These sensors allow us to measure external magnetic field of the machine. Their interest is due to their robustness, reliability and longevity. The principle of the coil sensors is to measure the magnetic flux located around the electrical machine in order to be analyzed to detect faults. The performance of the measured signal for a constant coil area depends on the number of turns and the wire diameter. Their influence is analyzed in the paper. The developed diagnosis method is based on the analysis of the radial magnetic field present around the machine comparing to the changes of two signals obtained from a pair of sensors. So, the sensibility of the sensor in the coil number is also analyzed in the paper.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128343349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Crosscutting concerns are considered as potential aspects and can lead to the phenomenal \"tyranny of the dominant decomposition\". Requirements-level aspects are responsible for producing scattered and tangled descriptions of requirements in the requirements document. Requirements validation artifact is an essential task in software development. This task ensures that requirements are correct and valid in terms of completeness and consistency, hence, reducing the development cost, maintenance and establish an approximately correct estimate of effort and completion time of the project. In this paper, we present a validation framework for aspectual requirements that can be used with AORE approaches to facilitate the validation of the resulting crosscutting relationships and aspects. The proposed framework comprises a high-level and low-level validation. The high-level validation is to validate the concerns with stakeholders, whereas the low-level validation validates the aspectual requirement by developers using a checklist. The approach has been evaluated using a case study. The results demonstrate that the proposed framework is feasible and acceptable.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"199 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130317008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to its highly inductive nature, the FSIG wind power system is largely affected by the absorption of the reactive power during load variations. Fixed compensation (stationary condenser bank) may fail to prevent the collapse of the voltage during severe variations. Herein, FSIG system has been developed using STATCOM to improve system stability significantly during and after disturbances. This device belongs to the family of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) to regulate the effective voltage either by absorbing or generating interactive power by electronic processing of voltage and the current wave in the voltage source transformer (VSC). Compared with SVC, STATCOM gives better dynamic performance and provides better support for the voltage at the PCC. In this paper, a mathematical model of a STATCOM is derived and then simulated using Mat Lab/Simulink software. The STATCOM is also implemented practically and is used to regulate the voltage of an induction generator. The results show the great performance of the proposed system.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132798349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a robust vehicle detection system to detect the front vehicles by using a single camera mounted on the car. The proposed system consists of two main steps, which are, hypotheses generation (HG) and hypotheses verification (HV). The first step is to find the candidate regions to the vehicles in the image. The guide to these regions is the shadow underneath the vehicle because it is always darker than the road surface. The system fits the generated regions with the width of the vehicle and reduces the number of hypotheses by calculating the entropy in two different ways. The second step is to verify whether the generated hypotheses contain a vehicle or not, and this done by Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) to extract the features. In designing the proposed system, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree (DT) classifiers are used for classification. Experiments were conducted using the challenging GTI DATA database to ascertain the usefulness of the approaches. The methodology was evaluated against the state-of the-art and it was found that the proposed approaches produce outstanding results.","PeriodicalId":178037,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2020","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115324092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
