This organisms use pseudopodia to move. The study aims to describe the groups of foraminifera that live on leaves and seagrass sediments and provide information on the comparison of the number of benthic foraminifera genera in seagrass beds. The study was performed in Bunaken Island and during the study a number of 4593 specimens of benthic foraminifera has been identified and they are divided into specimen that lives on seagrass leaves (1097 specimens) and specimens that live on sediments (3496 specimens). The specimen was grouped in 16 genera and they were scattered in 2 stations within four sampling points. These genera are: Amphistegina, Calcarina, Coscinospira, Elphidium, Eponides, Lachlanela, Marginophora, Neorotalia, Operculina, Cleroplis, Planorbulina, Pseudorotalia, Quinqueloculina, Sorites, Spiroluculina, and Triloculina. The study was conducted at the coastal areas of the mainland of Manado City and Bunaken Island for 3 months, February - May 2019. The research method was a survey with descriptive analysis and SWOT. The results of the study obtained 4 strategy formulations (key success factors) in the context of managing maritime ecotourism in the industrial revolution era 4.0 in the city of Manado, namely: 1) Increasing law enforcement in the field of marine ecotourism, waste management on land and sea, 2) Awareness of the community environmental hygiene both on land and sea, 3) Empowering biodiversity resources of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangroves in the park for developing marine maritime ecotourism through digital applications, and 4) managing and developing resorts, coastal culinary attractions, points of diving spots, and tourism  ports. The results of the SWOT curve show the condition of marine ecotourism in the city of Manado in quadrant 2, namely a situation where the threat to the development of marine ecotourism is more dominant than opportunity, but there are strengths of tourism organizations that can be relied on. Stakeholders are expected to be able to improve performance so that quadrant 2 conditions change to quadrant 1, which is to support an aggressive strategy: a very good situation because of the power that is used to seize profitable opportunities. In the era of industrial revolution 4.0, every stakeholder in the maritime ecotourism industry in the city of Manado was supposed to change the management system towards digital-based by making applicationsKeywords: Bunaken island, revolution industry 4.0, Manado city, marine ecotourism, strategyTujuan penelitian adalah untuk merumuskan strategi pengelolaan ekowisata bahari di era revolusi industri 4.0 di Kota Manado.  Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah pesisir daratan Kota Manado dan Pulau Bunaken selama 3 bulan, Februari - Mei 2019. Metode penelitian adalah survei dengan analisis deskriptif dan SWOT. Ngangi","doi":"10.35800/JPLT.7.3.2019.24432","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35800/JPLT.7.3.2019.24432","url":null,"abstract":"Marine debris is all material in the solids form that could not be found naturally (is a product of human activities) in the territorial waters (oceans, beaches) and could threat directly to the conditions and productivity of the territorial waters. Marine debris is defined by UNEP (2009) as solid material that is difficult to decompose, plant or processed results are discarded or left in marine and coastal environments. Marine debris consists of goods used by humans and deliberately disposed to the sea. Marine debris can be transported with ocean currents and winds from one place to another, even being able to travel long distances from the source. Common waste problems encountered in urban areas in Southeast Asian countries, as populations grew, followed by increased revenues potential garbage and various types of garbage produced. Marine debris classified as Meso and Macro trash with size > 5 mm to 1 m. Marine debris observation is carried out by modifying the method of coastline survey methods based on National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (2013). There are some important things to be prepared before doing the observation that was stranded in coastal areas such as the selection of observation locations, materials needed for observation and time observation. Based on the results of the research of marine debris samples obtained at the research site there are 2 characteristics of marine debris namely of macro flakes collected in twelve transect as much as 341 grains, while meso-debris contains as many as 94 goods. Also the debris with a category of micro-debris as many as 46 items with a total of 481 items and total weight total 1433.38 gr/m2.Keywords: Marine debris, Tongkaina, Talawaan Bajo Sampah laut atau marine debris adalah semua material berbentuk padatan yang tidak dijumpai secara alami (merupakan produk kegiatan manusia) di wilayah perairan (lautan, pantai) dan dapat memberikan ancaman secara langsung terhadap kondisi dan produktivitas wilayah perairan. Sampah laut, didefiniskan oleh UNEP (2009) sebagai bahan padat yang sulit terurai, hasil pabrik atau olahan yang dibuang atau dibiarkan di lingkungan laut dan pesisir. Sampah lautan dapat ditransport oleh arus laut dan angin dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya, bahkan dapat menempuh jarak yang sangat jauh dari sumbernya. Permasalahan sampah umum dihadapi pada daerah perkotaan di negara Asia Tenggara, seiring meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, diikuti peningkatan pendapatan, sehingga mengakibatkan meningkatnya potensi timbulan sampah perkapita dan beragamnya jenis sampah yang dihasilkan (Nguyen & Schnitzer, 2009). Crabs in the genus Grapsus sp have a swift movement, long legs, they do not have swimming legs and have small reddish purple or purple-orange color, claws on the body of this crab indicated the presence of pigments such as carotenoid pigments. Carotenoid pigments are one form of secondary metabolites which consist of carotene and xanthophyll groups. Carotenoid pigments are present in yellow, orange or orange red which are also found in crabs. Separation of carotenoid pigments can be done using the TLC method, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Column Chromatography (CC). The purpose of this study was to determine the type of carotenoid pigment from male Grapsus sp crab extract using the Column Chromatography separation method. From the results of this study, the carotenoid pigment content in the 1,2 and 3 carapace was 46,85 μg, 39 µg, and 33,14 µg. The carotenoid pigment concentrations in carapace extracts 1,2 and 3 are 25,38 µg/g, 23,4 µg/g and 5,11 µg/g. From the results of the separation using the column chromatography method, the type of carotenoid pigment identified from the carapace extract of Grapsus sp male is β-Carotene, Ekinenon, Astaxantine, Kantaxantine and Astacen.Keywords: Grapsus sp, Carotenoid, Column ChromatographyKepiting Grapsus sp memiliki warna tubuh hitam kehijauan dan dikenal dengan nama kepiting batu. Kepiting dalam genus Grapsus sp memiliki gerakkan yang cekatan, mempunyai kaki yang panjang, tidak memiliki kaki renang dan memiliki capit berukuran kecil yang berwarna ungu kemerahan atau ungu-oranye warna pada tubuh kepiting ini mengindikasikan adanya kandungan pigmen seperti pigmen karotenoid. Pigmen karotenoid merupakan salah satu bentuk metabolit sekunder yang yang terdiri dari golongan karoten dan xantofil. Pigmen karotenoid  hadir dalam warna kuning, oranye, atau merah oranye, yang juga ditemukan pada kepiting. Pemisahan pigmen karotenoid dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode KLT, Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi (KCKT) dan Kromatografi Kolom (KK). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis pigmen karotenoid dari ekstrak kepiting Grapsus sp Jantan dengan menggunakan metode pemisahan Kromatografi Kolom. Dari hasil penelitian ini, didapatkan kandungan pigmen karotenoid pada karapas 1,2 dan 3 adalah 46,85 µg 39 µg, dan 33,14 µg. Konsentrasi pigmen karotenoid pada ekstrak karapas 1,2 dan 3 adalah 25,38 µg/g, 23,4 µg/g dan 5,11 µg/g. Fungsi mangrove secara ekologis yaitu sebagai tempat pemijahan (spawing), pengasuhan (nursey) dan tempat mencari makanan (feeding) bagi biota tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat menganalisis kekayaan jenis vegetasi mangrove di Pantai Minanga, Kecamatan Bintauna, Kabupaten Mangondow Utara, Sulawesi Utara. Metode jelajah dilakukan di ekosistem mangrove dimulai dari batas daratan (teresterial) hingga ke muara. Sebanyak dua petak di bagian belakang yang berbatasan dengan teresterial, tiga petak di bagian tengah dan tiga petak di bagian depan yang berbatasan dengan muara. In the interests of phisical use in the beach, coastal structure in the form of groynes has been built. Actually, the groin has been used as a dock. This research was conducted with the aim of revealing the slope and granulometry sediment in Tanjung Merah beach. The results obtained, the beach slope is considered sloping and very sloping, the composition of the sediment consists mainly  of medium sand, fine sand and very fine sand. Sediment distribution analysis obtained results, the main grain size was mainly in the form of medium sand, sorting was mainly classified as poor, skewness was mostly asymmetrie strong to large size, most curtosis was mesokurtic. The results of the study indicate the occurrence of the process of erosion and deposition ia certain spaces on the beach studied. \u0000Keywords: Tanjung Merah, beach slope, sediment granulometry \u0000Kemiringan lereng dan granulometri sedimen gisik merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pengelolaan pantai. Gisik menawarkan beragam fungsi dan potensi untuk dimanfaatkan. Dalam kepentingan pemanfaatan lahan gisik, berbagai modifikasi dilakukan oleh manusia. Pada gisik di Tanjung Merah, telah dibangun struktur pantai berupa groin. Secara aktual, groin tersebut telah difunsikan sebagai dermaga. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengungkapkan kemiringan dan granulometri sedimen di gisik Tanjung Merah. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, lereng gisik terkriteria miring dan sangat miring, komposisi sedimen terutama terdiri dari pasir sedang, pasir halus, dan pasir sangat halus. Analisis distribusi memperoleh hasil, rataan empirik terutama berupa pasir sedang, penyortiran terutama terklasifikasi buruk, kemencengan terbanyak berupa asimetris kuat ke ukuran besar, peruncingan terbanyak berupa mesokurtik. In carotenoid and chlorophyll plants are located in chloroplasts which undergo photosynthesis as well as photosynthetic bacteria and fungi. Carotenoid compounds have antioxidant activity, anticancer, as precursors of vitamin A and can enhance immunity. Crustaceans like crabs Grapsus sp. have carotenoid pigments, visible red, orange, and yellow are scattered in the carapace. Pigments found in crustaceans as well as crabs of Grapsus sp. generally sourced from food eaten by the crab. To determine the process of carotenoid pigment metabolism, each crab organ of Grapsus sp. isolated using thin layer chromatography separation method and column chromatography to determine the type of pigment contained therein. Pigment types identified in the crabs of Grapsus sp. males using the TLC method: β-carotene, Astasen type, Cantasantin, Astasantin, and Adonirubin. Pigment types identified in the crabs of Grapsus sp. males using the CC method: β-carotene, Astasen, β-cryptosanthine, Zeaxantine, and Cryptosanthine. Keywords : Grapsus sp., Thin Layer Chromatography, Column Chromatography, Carotenoids Pigments.             Karotenoid merupakan pigmen dengan kisaran warna merah, orange dan kuning. Pada tumbuhan karotenoid dan klorofil terletak pada kloroplas yang mengalami proses fotosintesis seperti juga pada bakteri fotosintetik dan fungi. Senyawa karotenoid memiliki aktivitas antioksidan, antikanker, sebagai prekursor vitamin A dan dapat meningkatkan imunitas. Krustasea seperti kepiting Grapsus sp. mempunyai pigmen karotenoid, terlihat warna merah, jingga, dan kuning yang tersebar pada karapas. Pigmen yang terdapat pada krustasea demikian juga pada kepiting Grapsus sp. umumnya bersumber dari makanan yang dimakan oleh kepiting tersebut. Untuk mengetahui proses metabolisme pigmen karotenoid maka masing-masing organ kepiting Grapsus sp. diisolasi dengan menggunakan metode pemisahan kromatografi lapis tipis dan kromatografi kolom untuk mengetahui jenis pigmen yang terkandung didalamnya. Jenis pigmen yang teridentifikasi pada kepiting Grapsus sp. jantan dengan metode KLT yaitu : β- karoten, Tipe Astasen, Kantasantin, Astasantin, dan Adonirubin. Hasil penelitian, diperoleh 4 spesies udang genus Penaeus dengan total 251 ekor (♂: 115 ekor dan ♀: 136 ekor). Kepiting yang didapatkan 10 spesies dari tiga genus yaitu Uca (295 ekor), Portunus (12 ekor) dan Scylla (53 ekor). Total kepiting yang ditemukan 360 ekor (♂: 203 ekor dan ♀: 157 ekor). Kepadatan tertinggi udang P. monodon, yaitu 0,092 ind/m2 sedangkan terendah P. merguiensis, yaitu 0,055 ind/m2. Kepadatan tertinggi kepiting U. annulipes, yaitu 0,126 ind/m2 sedangkan terendah P. trituberculatus, yaitu 0,003 ind/m2. Pengukuran morfometrik tertinggi udang P. monodon yaitu ♂: 19,9 cm, ♀: 17,8 cm sedangkan terendah P. semisulcatus yaitu ♂: 11,3 cm, ♀: 10,5 cm dan morfometrik kepiting tertinggi pada S. serrata yaitu ♂: 20,3 cm, ♀: 16,1 cm sedangkan terendah U. annulipes yaitu ♂: 3,7 cm, ♀: 2,4 cm. Hasil pengukuran parameter kualitas air, meliputi: suhu (27-30 0C), derajat keasaman (pH 6,9-8) dan salinitas (27-33 ppt), Kata Kunci : Inventarisasi; Cruise method; Udang; Kepiting; MangroveThe stock taking and solidity of shrimp and crab in mangrove waterThe purpose of this research is to describe the types of shrimp and crab, to decide the solidity, to decide the morphometric and to find out the parameter of water quality (temperature, pH and salinity) in mangrove water at Meras, Bunaken subdistrict, Manado. The result of this research found 4 species of shrimps genus Penaeus with total 251 (♂: 115 and ♀: 136 ). The founded crabs are 10 species from three genus, they are Uca (295), Portunus (12) and Scylla (53). The total of founded crab are 360 (♂: 203 and ♀: 157). The highest solidity of shrimp is P. monodon that is 0,092 ind/m2 , the lowest is P. trituberculatus that is 0,003 ind/m2 . Subtrates can to be used by nudibranches to get food sources, shelter from predators, and as a place to live. Nudibranch species found in the Lembeh Strait were 19 species in this study. Dead Coral with Algae (DCA), sponges, algae, hard coral, and tunicates were the types of substrate where nudibranches live in the Lembeh Strait The most dominant or overlapping substrate between types of nudibranchs was Dead Coral with Algae. Keywords : Nudibranch, Substrate, Lembeh Substrate diversity of nudibranch at Lembeh Strait            Penelitian mengenai keragaman substrat nudibranch dilakukan di Selat Lembeh pada 3 lokasi yaitu Nudifall, Makawide, dan Nudiritrit.  Tujuannya yaitu 1) mengetahui jen nudibranch di Nudifall, Makawide, Nudiritrit di Selat Lembeh. 2) mengetahui substrat yang ditempati nudibranch di Selat Lembeh. 3) mengetahui substrat yang tumpang tindih (overlap) yang ditempati oleh nudibranch. Subtrat dapat dimanfaatkan oleh nudibranch untuk mendapatkan sumber makanan, tempat berlindung dari predator, dan sebagai tempat tinggal.  Jenis nudibranch yang ditemukan di Selat Lembeh ada 19 spesies dalam penelitian ini.  Dead Coral with Algae (DCA), spons, alga, hard coral, dan tunikata merupakan substrat-substrat tempat hidup nudibranch di Selat Lembeh. The research was conducted in Nudifall and Nudiretreat, Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi. The aims of this study were 1) to identify the species of Nudibranchia in both locations, 2) to know the abundance of Nudibranchia in those locations, 3) to determine distribution patterns of nudibranchia, and to know diversity of Nudibranchia in both Nudifall and Nudiretreat. The results show that 11 species of Nudibranchia were found in both Nudifall and Nudiretreat. The species of Chromodoris annae, Chromodoris magnifica, Flabellina expotata, Goniobranchus fidelis, Halgerda batangas, and 1 unidentified species were found in Nudifall, while the species of Goniobranchus geometricus, Glossidoris cincta, Phylllidia ocelata, Phylllidia varicose, Nembrotha rutilans were found in Nudiretreat. H. batangas was found to be the highest abundance, then it was followed byC. annae, C. magnifica, G. fidelis, unidenfied species (species-1), and C. magnificain Nudifall. P. ocelatawas found to be the highest abundance, then it was followed by G. geometricus, G. cincta, P. varicose, andN. Rutilans  in Nudiretreat.  Nudibranchia in both locations wasidentified to have random and grouped distribution pattern. Nudibranchia was found to have the same diversity among Nudifall and Nudiretreat. Factors affecting abudance, distribution patterns, and diversity were discuss in this paper.Keywords: Nudibranchia, Distribution, Abudance, Lembeh Strait. Nudibranchia dikenal sebagai avertebrata laut yang memiliki warna unik dan bentuk tubuh yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Nudifall dan Nudiretreat, Selat Lembeh, Sulawesi Utara.   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis nudibranchia di lokasi Nudifall dan Nudiretreat, 2) mengetahui kelimpahan jenis-jenis Nudibranchia di kedua lokasi, 3) mengetahui pola distribusi jenis-jenis Nudibranchia di lokasi Nudifall dan Nudiretreatdi, 4) dan keragaman Nudibranchia di Nudifall dan Nudiretreat. Ada 11 jenis Nudibranchia ditemukan di kedu lokasi penelitian.Nudibranchia yang ditemukan di Nudifall ada 6 jenis, yaitu Chromodoris annae, Chromodoris magnifica, Flabellina expotata, Goniobranchus fidelis, Halgerda batangas, dan 1  spesies belum teridentifikasi (spesies-1).
