Due to their cleaning properties, saponins can be developed as raw materials for detergent production. The synthesis of detergent with the addition of fruits, leaves, and petioles extract of the bilimbi has been successfully carried out. A series of tests, namely organoleptic, pH, foam stability and quantity, hedonic, and detergency tests, were performed to evaluate the quality of detergents. From the organoleptic test, it was found that the addition of the extract caused the detergent to change color to brownish, with a slight increase in density and a slight decrease in pH, and relatively did not change the phase and fragrance of the detergent. The addition of extract did not increase the quantity of foam produced but could increase the stability of the resulting foam. The hedonic test shows a relatively good level of panelist preference. Serta adanya peraturan pemerintah yang mengatur standar baku mutu air limbah sebelum dibuang ke Lingkungan. Dari hasil pengamatan di bulan November 2019 selama 30 hari, ada 2 hari atau sekitar 6.7% effluent limbah cair dari industri minuman ringan ini memliki kadar COD yang masih melebihi baku mutu Pemerintah, ini menunjukkan adanya permasalahan pada Waste Water Treatment (WWT) yang harus diselesaikan. Penyelesaian masalah ini menggunakan metoda Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) Tujuh Langkah Tujuh Alat (TULTA) yang terdapat pada Statistical Process Control (SPC). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan kandungan Limbah cair industri minuman ringan seperti kadar Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) dan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) nya dan juga akan melakukan perbaikan bila diketahui kadar Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) dan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) effluent yang dibuang ke Lingkungan melebihi baku mutu yang ditetapkan Pemerintah dengan metoda Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) Penelitian dilakukan melalui proses observasi dan pengumpulan data parameter limbah cair Waste Water Treatmen t (WWT) yang akan dibuang ke lingkungan. Dari parameter checksheet harian Waste Water Treatment (WWT) selama 30 hari, ditemukan 2 kali parameter Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) nya lebih tinggi dari spesifikasi yaitu > 100 mg / L, sedangkan parameter lain seperti BOD, TSS, pH, kandungan minyak & lemak masih dalam spesifikasi. Untuk itu dilakukan penyelesaian masalah menggunakan metode PDCA untuk kadar Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) yang mengalami out of specification . Dimulai dengan penetapkan tema dan masalah, mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan, menetapkan tindakan penanggulangan, implementasi perbaikan, standarisasi dan langkah selanjutnya. Dari hasil analisa, pada kondisi awal Capability Index (Cpk) kandungan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) masih rendah yaitu berkisar 1.03 yang masih lebih rendah dari standar 1.33. Setelah dilakukan analisa akar penyebabnya, ditemukan beberapa kali masalah pada suplai oksigen pada proses aerasi yang tidak lancar, akibat penyumbatan pada strainer inlet blower . Hal tersebut menyebabkan proses aerasi tidak maksimal. Tetapi setelah dilakukan tindakan penanggulangan, dengan cara membuat jadwal pembersihan strainer secara berkala sebelum mencapai delta pressure (P) yang menandai tersumbatnya strainer. Dan dari monitoring hasil, tidak pernah lagi mendapatkan hasil Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) yang keluar dari spesifikasi dan Capability Index (Cpk) juga meningkat menjadi 4.26 > 1.33. Peningkatan suhu reaksi akan berdampak pada peningkatan tumbukan pada molekul zat yang bereaksi, sementara peningkatan konsentrasi katalisator  padat akan meningkatan jumlah sisi aktif yang akan berinteraksi dengan reaktan yang terlibat di dalam sistem bereaksi tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana dan  seberapa efektif pengaruh suhu dan konsentrasi katalisor padat berupa zeolit alam bayah termodifikasi pada reaksi esterifikasi etanol dan asam asetat. Tetapi cara ini tidak bisa digunakan untuk memisahkan campuran azeotropik. Jika dijumpai campuran azeotropik maka harus menggunakan distilasi yang termodifikasi seperti distilasi ekstraktif, distilasi azeotropik heterogen dan pressure swing distillation. Pada penelitian ini akan digunakan distilasi ekstraktif yang menggunakan tambahan entrainer/pelarut untuk melarutkan salah satu komponen sehingga titik azeotrop bisa terpecah lalu kedua komponen bisa dipisahkan. Teknik ini menggunakan 2 kolom yaitu kolom distilasi ekstraktif dan kolom pemurnian. Pada kolom distilasi ekstraktif terjadi kontak antara umpan dan entrainer sedangkan pada kolom pemurnian terjadi pemisahan antara umpan dan entrainer. Pada penelitian ini akan dipelajari bagaimana pengaruh jenis pelarut terhadap distilasi ekstraktif campuran aseton-metanol. Pelarut yang digunakan adalah DMSO, klorobenzena dan air. Variabel yang diamati adalah besarnya biaya peralatan, biaya utilitas, dan Total Annual Cost (TAC) untuk campuran umpan yang sama dan kemurnian produk yang dijaga konstan. Emisi gas metana pada tambang batubara merupakan salah satu kontributor efek rumah kaca dalam pemanasan global. Ketahanan gas metana berada di atmosfer rata-rata sekitar 12 tahun. Gas metana mampu menangkap panas dengan kemampuan 20 kali lipat lebih besar dari karbondioksida. Salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengoksidasi gas metana menjadi karbondioksida dengan konsentrasi rendah di bawah 1% adalah menggunakan Reverse Flow Reactor (RFR) . Dalam penelitian ini akan dipaparkan mengenai pengaruh konsentrasi gas umpan metana, kandungan kadar air pada aliran gas umpan metana, dan pemilihan nilai switching time terhadap unjuk kerja reaktor terkait sifat auto-thermal dan kestabilan panas RFR, dengan metode simulasi pengamatan kelakuan dinamik berupa profil temperatur reaktor dan konversi metana menggunakan software FlexPDE versi 7. Nilai konsentrasi gas umpan metana berbanding lurus terhadap nilai temperatur yang dihasilkan reaktor. Sementara nilai komposisi air pada gas umpan metana dan nilai switching time berbanding terbalik terhadap nilai temperatur yang dihasilkan reaktor. Nilai konversi metana sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi operasi auto-thermal dan kestabilan panas dari RFR. Metode PBL telah dipercaya dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan motivasi, kompetensi serta softskills mahasiswa dalam belajar. Hal ini menjadi dasar bagi Program Studi Rekayasa Keamanan Siber, Jurusan Teknik Informatika, Politeknik Negeri Batam untuk bertransformasi mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis konvensional ke arah pembelajaran berbasis PBL. Implementasi pembelajaran berbasis PBL yang ada juga beraneka ragam tergantung dari projek, permasalahan, atau produk yang dihasilkan. Studi ini memberikan gambaran mengenai rancangan PBL Program Studi Rekayasa Keamanan Siber dengan memberikan contoh projek yang dapat dilakukan, serta tahapan pelaksanaan PBL yang benar-benar mengikuti standar pelaksanaan projek di industri (hardware, software, services) melalui metode Agile. Selain itu kebutuhan akan alat ukur sangatlah tinggi sebanding dengan kebutuhan akan bahan pangan itu sendiri. Alat ukur yang tersedia hanyalah alat ukur yang menimbang berat buah tanpa dapat memperkirakan harga. Sehingga keberadaan akan alat ukur yang dapat mengukur berat sekaligus menampilkan harga sangatlah dibutuhkan. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan sistem yang menjawab kebutuhan akan sistem yang dapat memprediksi berat buah dan harga buah. Proses prediksi berat buah dilakukan dengan perhitungan jumlah pixel dan dianalisa menggunakan persamaan regresi. Hasil perkiraan berat buah ini menghasilkan eror berat rata-rata 4.44%. Sementara proses perkiraan harga buah didapat dari perkiraan bobot buah dikalikan harga per berat buah masing-masing. It is one major factors of gas waste adsorption through final process of activated carbon in biogas plant, especially for hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide is a side gas appeared in biogas plant which has to be removed by various processes, including the presence of activated carbon filter that usually appeared on last stage of biomass filtration process which is poisonous and corrosive to the metal parts. Today, air humidity gauges have been found quite a lot on the market. However, how accurate the device is, needs to be further proven in the laboratory, especially when the gauges have to face corrosive gases such as this H2S. Therefore, calibration for cheap and efficient relative humidity measurement is very necessary. The method will use comparison between RH reading and RH calculation based on parameters of plant settings in the form of gas composition mixture, flow duration, pressure, volumetric flow rate, and temperature. All these frameworks needed to be integrated to simplify the command of creating the complexity of the robot behaviors. To overcome these problems, the Robot Operating System (ROS) can be implemented on each robot. This paper presented the implementation of the ROS: Kinetic Kame in order to integrated the whole framework which is existed in the robot. To verify the performance of this system, some experiments has been done in real-time application. The presence and development of technology has a considerable influence on the development of learning media that utilizes video-based media. The use of video as a medium for learning color recognition in English in Kindergarten is expected to enhance childrens’ understanding. The aim of this research was to develop learning media to recognize colors in English through the implementation of motion graphics and to convey material about color in English through learning media in the form of motion graphics that have been made. This product was developed using the Luther Sutopo method and distributed to Ibn Khaldun's Islamic Kindergarten.
