Having a glance at the future, health science students belonging to different universities would take the leadin hospitals and health centers thus this study aims to analyze the level of knowledge, attitude and perception of them towards CAM in Nepal, also aims at awaking students about CAM therapies, related side effects, risks and possible complications. \u0000Methods: A cross sectional descriptive study was organized by enlisting 385 undergraduate students, pharmacy(107) and non-pharmacy (278) which encompasses demographic characteristics, source of information, knowledge, attitudes and perception towards CAM. \u0000 Results: Report indicated that predominance of students had good knowledge regarding homeopathy (Pharmacy:81.3%, NP:71.9%, P-value:0.044), herbalmedicine (Pharmacy:62.5%,NP:56.5%, P-value:0.008, acupuncture (Pharmacy:72.9%, Non-Pharmacy:62.2%, P-value:0.073), gingko (Pharmacy:52.3%, Non-Pharmacy:40.6%), ginseng (Pharmacy:52.3, Non-Pharmacy:34.9%, P-value:0.001). In spite employing non reliable origin of CAM information and their mindset that CAM is proceeded by quacks, the preponderance of students had positive attitudes and perception regarding CAM management. However, few non pharmacy students believe that CAM should be adapted by legislation (Pharmacy: 78.5%, Non-Pharmacy: 66.2%, P-value: 0.032), only few believe that CAM is a convenient appendage via traditional medication (Pharmacy: 84.1%, Non-Pharmacy: 70.5%, P-value: 0.018). \u0000Conclusion: Disregarding scanty knowledge in the matter of CAM, students possess forward-looking attitudes and opinion regarding CAM, also express eagerness to increase their knowledge about CAM.

It is a surgery of breast in order to increase its size by placing breast implants under breast tissue or chest muscles. Silicon implant is used for both cosmetic and reconstructive reasons. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the outcomes of primary breast augmentation with silicon implant. Methods: A retrospective study was performed in patients who underwent silicon based breast augmentation through inframammary in submuscular dual plane, between February 2017 and January 2019. Surgical outcomes were evaluated and Patient satisfaction was measured using the BREAST-Q Augmentation Module.Result: This study involved a total of 32 patients (i.e. 64 breasts),19 patients were mongoloid and 12 were non mongoloid. The average age was 32.25 years (range: 20-45 years) between a follow up period of 24 months. The size of breast implant ranged from 240-340 cc. Thirty-one patients were satisfied with the outcome. Seroma was noted in two patients. One of the patients was not satisfied and was noted with capsular contracture within follow-up period. Fifteen patients were used with implant size 280 cc. All patients were able to go to normal daily activity after seventh post-operative day. Conclusion: Breast augmentation with silicon implant have potential to produce more satisfactory and aesthetically pleasing results with low revision rates. Eventhough various techniques are existing in breast augmentation but still universal standard technique is controversial.

Dental caries may be linked to obesity, while on the other hand, it may be linked to underweight/stunting; both are kinds of malnutrition. This study aims to find dental caries in primary and permanent dentition and nutritional status of children aged between 5-14 years. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted among children aged between 5-14 years who attended the Department of Pedodontic from January to April 2022.Dental caries was observed and dmft /DMFT index was calculated. Anthropometric measurements were done following WHO criteria.BMI was calculated using age percentiles charts for boys and girls developed by Center for Chronic Disease Prevention. Results: The total participants were 200 among which 88 (44%) were female and 112 (56%) were males. The dental caries status of all BMI categories were observed, caries status was found to be more in deciduous teeth (mean dmft) than in permanent teeth (mean DMFT).BMI categories showed 39(19.5%) underweight, 122 (61%) healthy weight, 25 (12.5%) at risk of overweight and 14 (7%) were overweight. Conclusions: Dental caries status was higher in primary dentition compared to permanent dentition. Correlation between BMI and dental caries status was not significant.

A patient came to the Central Ayurved Hospital Nardevi with an excruciating pain since 5 months. Patient stated that the several medications were tried without any success. Patient was further assessed via radiologically and laboratory. Results were within normal limits. Hence, patient was given 12 sessions of acupuncture along with cupping as the means for pain management. Patient was initially assessed via VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) before the commencement of the treatment session. This case demonstrates that the acupuncture can be an effective treatment approach for the management of Tietze syndrome.
