As one result of the above factors many people prefer to own a pet as a companion. However, due to the busy work schedule for most of the pet owners and not being able to share the caring task with others, paying full time attention to the pet is almost impossible. To solve the mentioned problem, we aimed to develop intelligent and interactive system to bridge the gap between the pet and the pet owner. This research is based on the concept of the Internet of Things by using Linux operating system and Raspberry Pi board as development platform. The proposed system provides a smart phone application to the pet owner that can make real-time communication with the pet using internet. As an input module the owner can use the vision module of the system to have a view of his/her pet and as an output module can control the servo motors of the wearable device on the pet for feeding. The proposed algorithm is designed to solve the problem of illumination, which can occur when the bus door opens or closes. A processing ratio of about 30 frames/s is necessary to overcome the extreme change in illumination. In this context, mathematical modeling plays an important role to determine the best process operating conditions, but also to possibly develop software sensors or controllers. This study proposes a distributed parameter model consisting in partial differential equations derived from mass and energy balances. This model has the particularity to take screw geometry variations into account. Brushless DC (BLDC) motors can achieve these specifications because the high efficiency in comparison with traditional AC induction motor, and purely powered by electricity. In this paper, a speed control scheme of BLDC using Hall effect sensors is proposed. Hall effect sensors detect the rotor position and drive the motor. The driving technique is trapezoidal pulse-width-modulation (PWM) wave which called trapezoidal control. The rotation speed control is constituted with the Proportional-Integral (PI) controller. The system provides traditional name check method, smart Mandarin phonetic input method, and NFC scan method for a fast roll call. The coverage area is extended and the deployment cost is reduced by deploying the relay stations. Suitable deployment for the relay stations is one of the most important features of the demand nodes to obtain a high data transmission rate in such systems. In order to make a trade-off among the network throughput, the deployment budget, and the overall coverage of the systems, a rotational clustering algorithm is proposed in this paper to select the appropriate deployment locations for the relay stations from the candidate positions. We take into account the traffic demands and adopt the dynamic cluster concepts to reduce the data transmission distances of demand nodes. Several clusters are created according to the positions of demand nodes. The clusters are dynamically adaptive in order to select the suitable deployment positions of the relay stations. On the basis of the different candidate positions, the proposed scheme makes an adaptive decision for selecting the deployment sites of relay stations. A favorable network throughput and coverage ratio can be obtained by balancing the network load among the clusters. Additionally, a suitable deployment budget can be carried out. In particular, the so-called explosion of complexity problem alleviated via using a modified dynamic surface control (DSC) technique. The modification mainly involves a first-order filter with a space-modulated input, which in turn ensures the boundedness of the filter states. However, the repeated differentiations in the auxiliary robust controller remains as the price of preserving the global stability. Nevertheless, since the adaptive fuzzy controller dominates most of the time, the overall controller still significantly improves the existing global designs in terms of computation and implementation. The VLC is capable of providing communication and illumination concurrently. Besides, based on the flexibility in changing the design from users, embedded system using SoC on FPGA kit is becoming more popular and developed. In this paper, a SoC system is designed to read data from SD card and transfer to computer based on visible light communication technology. Manchester encoder is chosen as a VLC modulation method.
