We select three characteristics for classification, namely foreground, the edges of objects, and dynamic region as the interesting area of eyes. In the region of high interest, we will give a smaller quantization parameter to achieve a better image quality; on the contrary, in the region of low interest, we then give a larger quantization parameter to reduce the amount of data. The SSC can provide customers with the efficient user interface so that the shopping service can be effectively promoted. In the current design, with the function of face recognition on the user interface, the SSC can recognize the customer and further provide the associated assistive shopping information based on the purchase history. With the use of radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags, the SSC can automatically detect the various products which are being added in the cart and show the related information on the user interface. Through the searching function of SSC, the purchasing efficiency and navigation aid in the mall can be effectively supplied. Finally, the automatic billing service can be done by the SSC and the stored shopping data will be transmitted to the cloud server of shopping mall. No additional hardware such as accelerometers has been used in our algorithm. The heart rate has a fundamental and harmonic structure. The cepstrum-based is useful for detecting harmonics. This paper proposes a signal approach based on the cepstrum analysis to enhance the periodic spectral components. The algorithm could effectively improve the quality of the PPG signals. The cepstrum-based method is helpful for distinguishing motion artifacts from PPG signal. The effectiveness of the fundamental and harmonic frequency enhancement in real time is experimentally demonstrated. Previously it was done by human operators. As long as the shortage of human labor advents, the insertion process of electronic components has been replaced by robots. Because pins of electronic components are usually curved and tilted from piece to piece, it becomes difficult to insert them onto electrical boards by robots. Thus, this paper presents an intelligent insertion system that uses the Fuzzy c-means (FCM) and the hierarchical support vector machines (SVM) to find an appropriate robotic insertion position and orientation by images of transformer pins. The experiments validated the proposed method using a 6-DOF robot arm. However, it is difficult to constructing a highly effective model for predicting before the parameter of SVM are optimally determined. Two parameters, C and g, must be determined in the establishment of an efficient SVM model. The purpose of this paper is to use uniform design method for finding the optimal values of the two parameters in establishing an efficient SVM model. According to the uniform design method, the regression relation between input parameters and output root-mean-square error can be obtained. Then, we can find the optimal parameters form the regression equation. The key idea of the algorithm are threefold: First, the rectangle connector parts of sample image and test image of product are analyzed and detected by using shape and region properties. The region of connectors are then extracted and rectified to horizontal direction. Second, the pair images are aligned using features based method. The robust features are detected and the matching process is combined with outlier removal using Random Sample Consensus (RANSAC) algorithm. This step is really necessary when the products appear with arbitrary geometric shapes in the images. Third, the region of wires under connector parts of both image are determined. The difficult problem is the displacement and deformation of wires. To detect the positions of each wires exactly, a histogram of a horizontal scanline of the region under connector part is built. To find the exact position of wires, the peaks of horizontal histogram of the scanlines are detected. When the central of wires are detected, a square patch surround the central of each wire is extracted. The Color Structural Similarity Index Metric (CSSIM) is applied to compare the similarity of sample patches and test patches. Furthermore, the objective function is the accuracy on the material surface, besides, it also considers the tool edge temperature, tool stresses, strains and optimal material removal rate in wear and machining strategies. The study proposed the optimal process parameters of shearing and plowing by fractal equation in micro-cutting strategy. In micro-cutting process, the cutting force can be calculated by fractal-algebraic operators obtained undeformed chip areas. Simultaneously, unstability of micro-cutting zone can be predicted by the transient specific coefficient Kr equal 1.1 to 1.3. Micro-cutter processing to maintain the specific energy minimized by cutter deformation, but cause the plain stress and fatigue stress increasing. It will affect roughness on micro-channel, including discontinuous chip load. For multi-degree-of-freedom cutting system, the stiffness of the micro-cutter should be discussed because of excited vibration. Optimal process included cut of depth 0.001mm, cutting length 0.003mm, cutter edge 38 deg. C on workpiece Al-7075, the optimal cutting force in x-axis was 0.0005 N (Avg.) and the optimal cutting force in y-axis was 0.00028 N (Avg.) for better surface roughness Ra=0.16. The higher temperature was 42.16 deg. C on workpiece and tool property Carbide or HS S, and the maximum strain rate occurred on chip shearing plane ε was 9.33E06 (/s) obeyed generalized cutting criterion by numerical analysis. The optimal Kr is 0.60400751 for Al-7075 in micro-cutting strategy. The experimental design demonstrated discontinuous cutting force trend while the proportional of Fy/Fx achieved to 1.1 where the workpiece was Al-7075 and tool was HSS. The simulation can be presented the unstability for shearing-plowing coupled effect in process. Furthermore, according to the reference of fatique stress on tool, the cutter wear behavior and failure agreed well with the simulated results, including cutting force, too-workpiece temperature, shear stress, cutter deformation and heat rate. However, many situations in which the use of single-valued variable may cause loss of information. In this paper, an interval PCA is proposed to find out the feature with interval weather data under the season. Besides, interval PCA reveal underlying structure, as well as expose the inside variation of the observations. That is, using weather datasets with different length of time (e.g., month, season) are presented to show each patterns.
