The ABC charity currently has a crowdfunding service. This service helps simplify the user management process. Security is a crucial issue to support and guarantee funders. This research aims to evaluate and provide recommendations for crowdfunding services to run safely and smoothly using the KAMI Index 4.1. This research consists of several steps, starting with observations made at charitable institutions. The following process is through focus group discussion activities to assess the level of information security of crowdfunding services. The analysis of the calculation results is used as the basis for developing recommendations. Based on the assessment results, crowdfunding services at charities obtained scores of I to I+, this indicates that the charity is still in its initial condition and has not yet implemented information security standards in managing crowdfunding services. Recommendations proposed to increase the value are carried out by compiling and implementing information security at the charity.","PeriodicalId":174894,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Science Letter","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131529934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The production activities of the brick industry have a lot of potential that can cause problems in the environment such as water, soil and air pollution. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential environmental impacts in the form of emissions and waste from brick production activities by applying the LCA method to the brick production process and to identify the inputs and outputs of the brick production process. To gain a deep understanding, a small enterprise of brick manufacturer was selected as a case study. The results of this study indicate that electricity and cement are the biggest causes of each category of impact. The category of potential global warming impact is the largest with a total of 6.95 kg CO2-eq. Although in all categories the percentages are more or less the same. This happens because the brick production process which almost entirely uses electrical energy in the production process and also the use of cement in large quantities has a major impact on the environmental impact.","PeriodicalId":174894,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Science Letter","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114354529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A type of aviation fuel called jet fuel or often spelled avtur is intended for use in aeroplanes with turbine (gas) engines. Jet fuel appears colourless. The fuels Jet A and Jet A-1 are the most frequently used ones in commercial aviation sector. Other than Jet B, which is utilised for its enhanced cold-weather operation, there are no other jet fuels that are frequently used in gas-turbine-engine in the aviation industry. Renewable aviation fuel or known as bio-jet fuels represent a sizable sector for the consumption of fossil fuels. The production of bioethanol and biodiesel for piston engine vehicles in internal combustion engines has already shown that biofuel can play a significant role in the development of sustainable renewable aviation jet fuel. Here, we also provide a book review on the potential bio-jet fuel as a renewable aviation jet fuel.","PeriodicalId":174894,"journal":{"name":"Engineering Science Letter","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129766287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
