Sumarni, Sunarto","doi":"10.54783/endless.v5i1.194","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54783/endless.v5i1.194","url":null,"abstract":"About 55% of postpartum mothers in Banyumanik and Ungaran districts in October 2019 experienced uterine subinvolution, and 75% of them experienced afterpains. Hot Herbal Compress could stimulate myometrium contraction required for uterine involution and analgesic effect. This study aimed to prove the effectiveness of hot herbal compress in accelerating uterine involution and afterpain recovery on postpartum mothers. This research used a quasi-experimental design—the investigation from 13 December 2019 until 26 January 2020 in Semarang. The authors grouped 42 postpartum mothers equally into experimental and control groups with random cluster sampling. The experimental group received a hot herbal compress for 20 minutes. The control group received uterus massage for 10 minutes and breathing exercises for 15 minutes. Both groups received the therapy 1x/day from the 2nd-10th day of the postpartum period. The observation of uterine fundal height by metlin, lochia volume by gravimetric, and afterpains intensity by visual analogue scale before and after the intervention every day. The analysis used Repeated Measure Anova. The experimental group's uterine fundal height, lochia volume, and afterpains intensity were consistently lower than the control group. There were significant differences between the experimental and control groups on a uterine fundal height on days 1-5 and 6-8, on lochia volume on days 5-6, and on the intensity of afterpains on days 1-4 (p < 0.05). The hot herbal compress effectively decreased the uterine fundal height on a uterine fundal size on days 1-5 and 6-8, reduced lochia volume on days 5-6 and effectively decreased afterpains intensity on days 1-4 on of postpartum mothers. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data. Preliminary data was collected from interviews and questionnaires to respondents, while secondary data was collected through the literature study method. The location of this research is in one of the sub-district offices in the Sumedang District. Respondents who were given a questionnaire totaling 100 people living around the sub-district were selected based on the random sampling method. Based on the data and analysis of research results, it can be seen that sub-district employees in Sumedang District still have not implemented bureaucratic ethical governance properly. Government governance has not been able to absorb and develop more advanced management values. The problem arises because of the following: learning culture, processes, tools and techniques, and skill and motivation. This research uses realism perspective in international relations and theory of National Security. Kashmir is an area that lies between India and Pakistan. This area is famous for its natural riches contained therein. The soil is fertile, the rivers that flow throughout the year and their biological minerals make this region a source of conflict India and Pakistan. The conflict began when India and Pakistan officially separated since the announcement of the independence of both sides pidak in 1948. This separation is prolonged impact on the border region, especially in Kashmir, which is fertile. Realism have the assumption that one alternative way conflict resolution is a War. It was then known by the term “Civis Pasum Para Bellum” which is means if yo want to make peace them, be prepared for war. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School Pedurungan Kidul 01 Semarang, totalling 40 students with a sampling technique, namely a saturated sample. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design. Based on the results of normality data analysis with Stable = 0.140, initial normality was obtained with L0 = 0.134, and final normality L0 = 0.139 with H0 results accepted that the data came from a normal distribution. Furthermore, the t-test calculation with ttable = 1.685 obtained t-count learning mastery = 23,772. With classical learning, completeness reaches 95%. Calculation of the analysis of creative thinking by students obtained t count = 15,899, and t arithmetic analysis of creative thinking conducted by the teacher = 10,690. Then Ha is accepted, meaning that the Two Stay Two Stray learning model effectively affects students' creative thinking skills and social studies learning outcomes for class IV Public Elementary School Pedurungan Kidul 01 Semarang with 95% classical learning completeness.
