For high speed routes, in order to prevent a sudden change of the centrifugal force , the nonlinear curvature transition curve must be applied due to the impact of the motion in a sharp curve. This article proposes a new curve representing transition curve as a polynomial non - linear curvature transition curve which is considered as a remodeling of the third degree parabolic non – linear transition curve.Formulation of the curve relies on a pre – valuation of the lateral shock such that it increases gradually to the maximum value at the midpoint, then decreases gradually and tangent to x – axis at both the start and end points.Various transition curves adjusted for the high speed railways tracks, including the proposed one, are geometrically examined for the purpose of studying the possibility of considering such transition curves in high speed railways network. The concerned curves are the new and these needed to be optimized, which are designed for high speed up to 350 km/h.Based on the enhancement of the effect of the dynamical elements, i. e. lateral shock, curvature and lateral displacement, the comparative study cited from the geometrical analysis assured that he second degree parabolic non – linear and the proposed transition curve are the most relevant curves to be connected to the railways routes.","PeriodicalId":173381,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Current Engineering and Maths","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124085894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model is based on system of reaction diffusion equations containing a nonlinear term related to Michaelis-Menten kinetics of the enzymatic reaction. We present the approximate analytical solution the nonlinear differential equations that describe the rate of reaction coupled with a Michaelis-Menten kinetics law. The simple and closed form of analytical expressions for the concentrations of biomass, lactose, lactate, acetate have been derived by using new homotopy perturbation method for all values of parameter. These results are compared with simulation results and are found to be in good agreement. The obtained results are valid for the whole solution domain.","PeriodicalId":173381,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Current Engineering and Maths","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114873450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To overcome these problems in 4G LTE-Advanced networks – A new method of capacity enhancement and performance evaluation using Sectored Relaying is proposed in this paper. The main focus is laid on the selection of the location for the relay node (RN) in the cellular network so that Access Link attains much improved performance in terms of throughput capacity and Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) besides improving the quality of wireless relay backhaul link. A mathematical model of the proposed system in terms of throughput capacity, path loss attenuation and Access Link SINR has been developed. The Mathematical Modeling of the proposed system has been verified by the simulations carried on Matlab 14. A significant improvement has been observed from the results, which justify the need for sectored relaying in relay enhanced networks. The parameters for simulation have been used in accordance with 4G LTE standard. Moreover, it has been observed that the proposed technique has lesser complexity with minimal deployment expenditure and performs better than the existing techniques.","PeriodicalId":173381,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Current Engineering and Maths","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131988004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The zero-voltage switching (ZVS) commutation for full-bridge high frequency inverter active power switches and the Cycloconverter bi-directional switches are obtained. Soft switching operation is provided in a wide range of voltage regulation without utilizing an auxiliary inductor in the primary side of an isolating transformer. The transformer size and filter components value is reduced by using high frequency inverter. Therefore switching losses in the circuit can be reduced and output voltage is regulated. Traditional schemes have approached this problem mainly focusing on resources within a cell and to large extent ignoring effects of multi-cell architecture. For multi-cell systems employing intra-cell orthogonal communication channels, inter-cell interference mitigation techniques are expected to be one of the key radio resource management functions. In this paper, we propose a multi-cell coordinated and un-coordinated dynamic resource sharing algorithms and reuse techniques among base station/ relay station cells. The sub carrier allocation and power allocation are performed on the basic of sum-rate maximization, by considering the load over the cell (3-sector cell). The simulation results show the performance comparison between both coordinated and un-coordinated Artifice Appropriation schemes with different sum-rate maximization algorithms.","PeriodicalId":173381,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Current Engineering and Maths","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132873896","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The solar power is tracked electrically using DC-DC converter such that the maximum power is extracted from the solar panel throughout its operation. The proposed converter uses a single inductor to allow a continuous-conduction mode by making the current never fall to zero. The proposed converter is controlled using the fuzzy logic controller that operates both in buck and the boost operation; unlike the conventional methods the output is non-inverted. The SEPI Converter used is more applicable for the maximum power tracking method because the output of the SEPIC is independent of the input voltage as the average current through the inductor is same as the load current. The proposed method is simulated using the MATLAB program. Making of a decision requires an enumeration of feasible and viable alternatives (course of action or strategies). To embark on the developments/application of specific operations research techniques to determine the optimal choice among several courses of action, which will include numerical values (if required), linear programming as a tool of operations research may be employed where there is a need to formulate a mathematical model to represent the problem at hand allocate the scarce/limited resources to several competing activity for optimality. This piece of work has employed the application of linear programming in the area of personnel management in minimizing the cost of staff training. The method gives an integer optimum solution to all the models formulated. Data collected may not yield a feasible solution, when this occurs the model needs to be reformed to give an optimum solution. However, this study helps management of the Institute ,the number of staff (junior and senior) to be sent for training program when there is need for such in the academic and non-academic sections of the institution.","PeriodicalId":173381,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Current Engineering and Maths","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125739720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current era has seen an explosive growth in communication. Applications like online banking, personal digital assistants, mobile communication, smartcards, etc. have emphasized the need for security in resource constrained environment. International Data Encryption Algorithm (IDEA) cryptography serves as a perfect encryption tool because of its 128 bits key sizes and high security comparable to that of other algorithms. However, to match the ever increasing requirement for speed in today’s applications, hardware acceleration of the cryptographic algorithms is a necessity. This study presents an efficient hardware structure for the modulo (2 n + 1) Multiplier and modulo(2 n ) adder which is the most time and space consuming operation in IDEA. The proposed design saves more time, area and cost. The block size considered here is same as of traditional IDEA encryption algorithm which is of 64 bits with 16 bit sub-blocks.","PeriodicalId":173381,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Current Engineering and Maths","volume":"16 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114133871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
