It recommended cautious use of hormonal interventions in this population and use of research protocols. Some clinician-researchers disagree with the Cass Review's recommendations and have written critiques. A critique of the Cass Review posted on Yale Law School's website in July 2024 has received extensive media coverage. Its references identified three other critiques. In these papers, there were multiple claims that were incorrect or that lacked essential clarification/contextualization. These claims involved (1) the Cass Review's contents and processes; (2) the pediatric transgender healthcare evidence base; (3) existing clinical practice guidelines, including claims that there is international medical consensus; (4) evidence-based medical practice and guideline development; and (5) conclusions regarding the validity of the Cass Review's findings. The Cass Review's careful, balanced investigations and judgments were a comprehensive, evidence-based response to the controversies in this pediatric clinical arena. Recently-published critiques of the Review have contained incorrect or inadequately contextualized claims. The present study aims to identify the differences between CSA by female solo perpetrators and CSA by female co-perpetrators. We analyzed data from an anonymous online survey involving individuals who reported their experiences of female-perpetrated CSA. A total of 186 participants were divided into those who had been abused by solo perpetrators (n = 88) and those who had experienced CSA by female co-perpetrators (n = 98). We compared their experiences across various characteristics. Our findings suggest that those affected by CSA by female co-perpetrators report abuse that had an earlier onset, was more severe, and lasted longer than the experiences reported by those affected by CSA by female solo perpetrators. The reports further indicate that CSA by female co-perpetrators is more likely to be committed by unknown perpetrators and occurs more frequently in religious institutions than CSA by female solo perpetrators. Few studies have considered the strengthening of the relationship, or marital benefit, of women with infertility. This study sought to investigate factors associated with marital benefit, such as infertility-related stress, partner communication, sexual satisfaction, coping strategies, and quality of life satisfaction. We used a descriptive cross-sectional study design to recruit 197 U.S. women with infertility who were undergoing fertility treatments from infertility-related Facebook support groups to complete an online survey. We used SPSS 28 to conduct descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, and multiple linear regression. Partner communication, sexual satisfaction, primary infertility, meaning-based coping, marital stress, quality of life satisfaction, and attending a support group were significantly associated with marital benefit. The multiple linear regression model accounted for 43% of the variance in marital benefit, and six variables had a significant relationship with marital benefit: meaning-based coping (p <.001), marital stress (p = .003), partner communication (p <.003), primary infertility (p = .014), active-avoidance coping (p = .020), and attending a support group (p = .006). This study aims to assess prevalence and pattern of sexual dysfunction amongst married male patients with alcohol dependence and influence of alcohol on their lives by exploring wives' perceptions. 100 married male patients with alcohol dependence and their wives (n = 70) were included. Male patients were interviewed to assess alcohol dependence severity, mental health, sexual functioning, and marital satisfaction with the help of standardized questionnaires. Wives' in-person interviews using a structured interview guide were conducted to explore their opinion about their husband's alcohol use and challenges they faced. According to the male patient's interview, the prevalence of sexual dysfunction was 88%, with premature ejaculation (60%) and erectile dysfunction (57%) being most common. Among all male patients, 19% had other mental health conditions and 50% experienced significant marital distress in their life, and severity of alcohol dependence was significantly associated with lower marital satisfaction. On exploring wives lived experiences, they reported significant interpersonal challenges like domestic violence and sexual life dissatisfaction due to their husbands' alcohol use and impact on children also. This is likely due to a conflation with offending and sexual risk within society, which translates into academic work on the topic. In this context, little is known about how the experiences of non-offending individuals with attractions to children inform their treatment needs in non-forensic contexts. We conducted anonymous semi-structured interviews with large sample of 31 non-offending adult men who are attracted to children, recruited through online forums. The results focus on two superordinate themes central to interpersonal and intrapersonal experiences, and the effects of these on both everyday functioning (\"Living with a sexual interest in children\"), and perceived treatment needs (\"Establishing treatment targets\").
