The program included acupuncture, herbal medicine, examination, education, psychotherapy, dressing, exercise. The patients were analyzed by Severity Scoring Atopic Dermatitis(SCORAD) index and measured skin pH value(pH). Also, patients evaluated themselves by writing an atopic dermatitis diary which consists of diet, emotion, severity of pruritus, and sleep loss, and checked questionnaires which consist of atopic dermatitis, self treatment methods and degree of satisfaction of each program.Results Most of subjective symptoms which patients complained were improved and also SCORAD index total scores were decreased by sasang constitutional medication.Conclusions We expect that the camping style hospitalization program based on sasang constitutional medicine could be helpful for female adolescent patient of atopic dermatitis.","PeriodicalId":17064,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sasang Constitutional Medicine","volume":"68 1","pages":"404-418"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89510411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also patient`s subjective symptom of abdominal pain was scored using the Numerical Rating Scale(NRS) during the treatment period. And the number of defecation in a day is also used to decide the degree of colitis.Results and Conclusions The patient had been treated from December 13, 2014 to August 8, 2015. Eosinophilic infiltration of colon was disappeared after the treatment although chronic inflammation still existed. Subjective pain of abdominal pain was measured as NRS 6~8 at the beginning of the remedy, but diminished through the treatment sessions and became NRS 0 in the end. The number of defecation was in average 3, and at the endpoint it became 1. The perspective on severe illness in SCM was investigated. And ‘the critical state’ of constitutional symptomsbased on Dongyisoosebowon was identified as cancer related symptoms. Results and ConclusionsThe perspective on severe illness of SCM was focused on the human being itself, compared with symptom based traditional Chinese medicine. The preservation of requisite energy (保命之主) was a vital factor of longevity to maintain healthy status and the classification of severity of disease. And critical state was an important indicator to control severe illness. Regarding cancer related symptoms in SCM, Janggwol(臟厥), Eumsung-gyeokyang(陰盛隔陽證), Janggyeol(藏結證) of Soeumin symptoms, Hwangdal(黃疸), Haso(下消),Eumheo-oyel(陰虛午熱證), Gochang(臌脹), Tohyul(吐血) of Soyangin's symptoms, Joyeol(燥熱證), Bokchang-bujong(腹脹浮腫) of Taeeumin's symptoms, and Eolgyek(噎膈) of Taeyangin's symptoms couldbe shown the association with cancer.
