This approach allows increasing the range and sensitivity of sensors, linearizing their response, providing a number of other useful properties. Investigation of chaotic dynamics in such sensory systems can be performed using computer simulation. However, the specific circuit implementations may differ from models, and therefore their experimental study is necessary. The proposed testbench allows automatically building bifurcation diagrams of the chaotic sensor oscillations by axially moving the target, as well as to calculate metrics. Thus, the quality and speed of research and development is increased.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117162622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, new multistep semi-explicit methods for numerical integration of the chaotic Thomas system are considered. We present the general scheme of such algorithms with the table of coefficients for various orders of accuracy. The proposed methods are compared with well-known multistep algorithms including Adams-Bashforth, AdamsMoulton methods and the backward differentiation formula.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117233482","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, with the computer-aided modeling of rice leaf growth as an example, improving the accuracy of prediction models for external environmental factors of rice growth and parameters of leaf shape evolution is investigated. Two machine learning tools, SVR and CNN, are selected to compare and analyze the training and prediction errors of 709 collected sample data. The experimental results show that the prediction accuracy of CNN is about 2 times higher than that of SVR. However, the learning speed of SVR in solving small sample regression is 50 times higher than that of CNN. Finally, the obtained parameters for rice leaf growth shape prediction are subjected to geometric description using the B-spline function, and visual simulation is carried out by visual C++ programming language and OpenGL 3.2. Three-dimensional visual models of plant growth and development with an external growth environment are established using machine learning. The ideal plant morphology is obtained by adjusting external environmental factors reasonably through quantitative analysis. It provides an information tool for the transformation of traditional empirical agricultural production to precise mode.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117246013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system contains two neural networks (to predict toxicity and useful behavior from molecular descriptors and the SMILES notation), a rule base for synthesizing novel antibiotics, as well as an antimycotic compound synthesis database. The system can help significantly lower the development cost for novel antibiotics. It has been tested using antifungal polyene macrolide antibiotics.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116996151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A models for solving a sequence of tasks by an operator in the form of Markov chains, a modification of stochastic processes of Ornstein-Uhlenbeck and Vasicek are developed. Algorithms for identifying model parameters from experimental data are developed. The experimental data were obtained as a result of testing models of cognitive-style potential (CSP) of operators. Computer variants of methods for diagnosing the cognitive sphere are implemented. Using machine learning methods based on cognitive models, a system for the results predictions of operators’ work is implemented. To train operators in solving problems of object recognition, overcoming obstacles and pursuing a goal, a simulator with a subsystem for recording the time of execution of actions, errors and evaluation of the results of the mission has been developed. Examples of solving test tasks in a sonar monitoring system saturated with information of various modality are given.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129477702","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the search for markers of pre-seismic events preceding earthquakes remains an important research task. The article presents experimental methods for assessing seismic activity in the Kamchatka region based on the results of processing and analysis of geoacoustic and electromagnetic emission signals. The research is aimed at detecting anomalies in quantitative and qualitative indicators that characterize the pulse streams of acoustic emission of near surface rocks and electromagnetic emission in the surface layer of the atmosphere. Signal processing and analysis are carried out using special algorithms that take into account the structural features of the variety of pulse shapes and their distribution over time.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121836582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Concurrent pool is one of the most common and demanded data structures in scalable applications. The promising way to implement concurrent pool is using diffracting (diffraction) tree as an auxiliary data structure to increase the scalability. In this work, we try to optimize diffracting-tree based pool and propose our implementations which outperforms the existing ones. We designed concurrent based on diffracting trees which optimize access of threads to global variables for maximization of the efficiency (throughput) of data structure. We performed experimental modeling to evaluate the efficiency of concurrent pools. We give the evidence that our pools have higher scalability compared with the existing pool’s implementations based on diffracting trees. We discuss the experimental results and provide the guidance for using them.","PeriodicalId":169458,"journal":{"name":"2020 XXIII International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125195203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
