Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan hidrokoloid dan konsentrasi sukrosa yang berbeda terhadap karakteristik fisik dan organoleptik selai lembaran pepaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu penambahan hidrokoloid yang berbeda (konjak, karagenan, campuran konjak dengan karagenan), dan penambahan sukrosa dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda (45%, 55% dan 65%). Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) dan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penambahan hidrokoloid dan dengan semakin tinggi konsentrasi sukrosa yang ditambahkan berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai hardness, cohesiveness, springiness, adhesion , dan kuat tarik. Penambahan gula dengan konsentrasi yang lebih tinggi akan menurunkan nilai sineresis, warna L* dan b*, sedangkan warna a* semakin mengalami peningkatan. Hasil uji organoleptik berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai kekenyalan sedangkan nilai kelengketan, warna, rasa, aroma, dan overall tidak berpengaruh secara nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasi pembuatan permen pereda tenggorokan dari ekstrak daun pecut kuda sebagai langkah dukungan diversifikasi pangan fungsional. Perlakuan terbaik dipilih melalui perbandingan parameter analisis dengan SNI Permen (Kembang Gula Keras) 01-3547-2008 dan uji daya hambatnya terhadap bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes . Pada desain penelitian, terdapat penambahan perlakuan perasa daun mint untuk bentuk inovasi awal pemberian rasa alami. Formulasi yang baik dalam pembuatan permen adalah dengan penambahan 30% ekstrak daun pecut kuda dengan penambahan perasa alami daun mint. Formulasi terbaik memiliki kemampuan daya hambat sebesar 8,3 mm terhadap bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes dengan parameter uji kadar air (0,26%), abu (0,12%), dan gula reduksi (0,26%) yang sesuai dengan SNI Permen Keras 01-3547-2008. This research was conducting using non factorial completely randomized design with one factor of 2 controls and 6 treatment of flour comparison : starch : fiber : anthocyanin pigment of purple sweet potato. The results of the analysis of the characterization texture of sweet bread showed that the comparison of flour, starch, fiber, and anthocyanin pigment of purple sweet potato had significant effect (P<0.05) on the texture (cohesiveness) and high significant effect (P<0.01) on texture (chewiness, adhesiveness, % deformation, hardness, gumminess, and springiness). Adding more purple sweet potato to sweet bread can increase cohesiveness, adhesiveness, springiness, and gumminess and decrease %deformation. This rank is affected by the population of Indonesia which ranked fourth in the world. Toddler malnutrition is a hot issue in Indonesia, and it is the basis of programs that supported by goverment to remedies these problems. The number of malnourished children in Indonesia is currently around 900 thousand people. The amount is 4.5 percent of the number of Indonesian children, which is 23 million people. For this reason it is important to predict the nutritional status of children so that preventive measures can be taken to reduce the number of malnutrition status in children in Indonesia. This study aims to apply the Modified K-Nearest Neighboar (M-KNN) method to identify risk factors for toddler nutritional status. The data used in this study is a combination of two types of data sources (primary and secondary data), where the data is obtained from posyandu in Malang. This study uses anthropometric assessment variables for weight and age. The steps taken include: data input, determination of the value of k, calculating the value of validity and the value of weight voting. Furthermore, to measure the performance of the proposed method, measurement is carried out by calculating the accuracy value of the predicted results. Analysis of post-Indonesian Migrant Workers-Women (PMI-P) using the GIS (Geographic Information System) method and factor analysis in an effort to determine the empowerment program of Indonesian Migrant-Women Workers (PMI-P) in accordance with local wisdom. Women as housewives in addition to their role in helping husbands to find additional income for assistance are also responsible for managing the family economy. Those who survive with very affordable money can still eat well and survive. Acceptable women have an important role in efforts to increase family resilience. Based on the local wisdom of Druju Village, the researcher offers two business choices that make processed products made from batik and processed products made from corn. With the analysis of factors obtained by the results of the female respondents Druju Village prefers processing business products made from batik. These days, there are many popular songs that have negative value for listeners. Conveying message about sex, love or portrayal of women is still a social debate because of cultural differences as well as rules in the environment. “Versace on the Floor” was one of the Bruno Mars’ famous song which contain sexual message in its lyrics. In this case, this study aims at discovering of students’ perception on Bruno Mars song “Versace on the Floor” about different gender regarding language used fin the song and allegedly contain elements of sex. This study used qualitative research methods to provide a detailed perspective of people about social phenomena such as culture or song. The researcher used students of University Muhammadiyah Malang as research subjects. The number of participants consisted of 20 female students and 20 male students. This research used questionnaire, interview guideline and document analysis to get data. The result indicated that most of students agreed that Bruno Mars’ song “Versace on the Floor” conveys sexual message. Both female and male students agreed that the song conveyed sexual message (female scored the greater number). However, several students thought that “Versace on the Floor” did not imply sexual message. They thought that it was a romantic song, which was expressed like having sexual message. Moreover, more than a half of the respondents (female scored greater number) thought that “Versace on the Floor” had a good melody.
