It basically shows the different socio-economic and socio-political backgrounds among the voters that results in different voting behaviour expressions. The urban voters whom middle-class background seems to be rational voters. They would like to be open-minded accepting various preferences rather than one or two preferences. This makes the urban voters could critically asses the parties and candidates they preferred with. Most importantly, they would stress some important issues like money poltiics and national economic evaluation to address voting behaviour expressions. For some reasons, these two factors still be important issues in shaping political choices in Indonesia. This paper will further elaborate empirically the rational voting behaviour in Indonesia. Specifically, this paper used the survey data from 2014 and 2019 elections to elaborate rational voting behaviour recently. Elections are a means of democracy which is also one of the ideals of the Pancasila and is not just a slogan but must be implemented to avoid divisions within the country. However, in the year of general election which is commonly called the political year, it is not uncommon for conflicts to occur between the people which even result in conflicts in society caused by differences in choices and opinions between one another. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of Pancasila values and the protection and enforcement of the law in the implementation of elections in Indonesia. The research was conducted with a normative-descriptive approach by examining secondary data sourced from laws and regulations, books, expert views, articles/writings and other sources of material then compiled systematically and then analyzed qualitatively by assessing the effectiveness of its application. From the results of the study, it can be concluded the implementation Pancasila of the democracy in Indonesia is still very minimal, with the rise of identity politics issues in the implementation of elections which will have a bad impact on democracy in Indonesia to divide the sense of unity and diversity of the multiethnic Indonesian people, multicultural and multi-religious. In addition, law enforcement is also still less than optimal due to several factors such as imperfect regulations, the number of institutions involved in law enforcement and the short period of handling.","PeriodicalId":168397,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Adhyasta Pemilu","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128572198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, the Subdistrict Panwaslu recruitment process in Indramayu Regency that has been carried out is a form of opening up public access to become election organizers where this is reflected in the representation of 686 registrants. This phenomenon becomes interesting to analyze in order to find out how high the motivation of candidates for the Sub-district Panwaslu members in Indramayu Regency for the upcoming simultaneous elections is, then a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method is used, while closed questionnaires are used as an efficient and suitable data collection technique because the respondents are quite large and spread out. The results of the study have shown that motivation significantly has a positive influence in the process of registering candidates for members of the Sub-district Panwaslu, where confidence with a percentage of 86.49% is higher than other motivation indicators so that later this is expected to correlate with integrity and supervisory work in guarding democracy.","PeriodicalId":168397,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Adhyasta Pemilu","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128864177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This movement involves all elements of society, including women. Women are also active in political participation, even having the potential to become the driving engine of grassroots movements. Currently, women have been active in the election process, become election participants, election organizers and are in the ranks of election supervision. This paper will discuss the role of women as the driving force of participatory supervision in the Anti-Money Politics Village program in Sardonoharjo Village, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region through descriptive research methods and qualitative research types using social capital and participation approaches. The conclusion drawn from this study is that women are the social capital of the core movement in society and play a role in the formation of participatory movement patterns. The pattern of participatory movements carried out by women in the election process in the Village Anti-Money Politics program, has the potential to expand so that more massive participatory supervision is realized.","PeriodicalId":168397,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Adhyasta Pemilu","volume":"25 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125671155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Actually, the cause of political bondage is due to high cost democracy which causes prospective candidates to have to look for sponsors, especially in companies that manage natural resources. So, when the candidate is elected or has officially taken office, he must fulfill the promise that has been agreed between the authorities and the entrepreneur, which promise can be in the form of mining permits, transfer of land functions, and so on. Then, the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by explaining that political bonds have a correlation with corruption. Then, the researcher uses Ross' main theory which relates the correlation between natural resources that will hinder and hurt democracy. Then, Billon's theory is that natural resources have the ability to motivate and fund various forms of activity. The results of this study show that the existence of political bonds is highly correlated with corruption, because the authorities justify or make something illegal to be legal due to an agreement with businessmen. The corruption of natural resources that dominates the most is in the Pilkada, especially in areas that are rich in natural resources. Entrepreneurs actually also take advantage of the momentum of the Pilkada to be able to enter the gap so that all permits related to natural resources run smoothly and they are protected by the law in their respective regions.","PeriodicalId":168397,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Adhyasta Pemilu","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123693323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, social media also has a weakness in disseminating hoaxes, misinformation, and exposing the Post Truth phenomenon that threatens the sustainability of democracy in Indonesia. The Normative Media Theory suggests that a media should (1) guarantee freedom of opinion, (2) convey information and know the truth, (3) be independent and reduce the interests of media owners, (4) have a variety of information available to the public, (5) reach out to the public. broadly various audiences, (6) supports a democratic political system, (7) and respects the privacy and human rights in general. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection in the form of observations and interviews. From the results of the research, it was found that KompasTV social media journalism upholds aspects of the Normative Media Theory perspective by prioritizing news value, verification, and fact-checking to ward off and avoid hoaxes, due to important and interesting things for the community. However, as a media that plays in the realm of social media, KompasTV in the pre-election period used SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Trending Topics, and viral issues in its journalistic production to increase views.
