The study empirically applied the TOE research framework that enables targeting IT managers and IT specialists in several Jordanian organization, where 132 respondents distributed on three sub-groups were targeted. The obtained data were analyzed using Partial Least Square because of the small sample size. The result indicated that top management support, organization capability and government policy reflect the organizational readiness of government organizations to adopt cloud-computing. The multigroup analysis results revealed that Although the size of organizations varies, they have similar drivers of cloud-computing adoption. The IT-related experience has significant negative effect on intention of adoption while cloud knowledge insignificant. The study demonstrated the importance of the pre-adoption step that decision-makers should be aware of organization readiness before taking the decision of adoption, otherwise the organization will fall in cloud-computing trap. In spite of the relationship that exists between education and training and poverty reduction among small-scale entrepreneurs, very little empirical examination has been done. This informed the current study to examine how educating and training of small-scale entrepreneurs by the Business Advisory Centre (BAC), a promotional institution, contribute to poverty reduction in the Nkoranza South Municipality (NSM). The study employed descriptive and evaluative designs. All the small-scale entrepreneurs who were registered with the BAC were included in the study. The systematic and purposive sampling methods were used to draw 278 small-scale entrepreneurs and three members of staff of the BAC. Questionnaires, interviews guide and focus group discussion guide were principally used to collect data from the respondents. The results from the study showed that the Business Advisory Centre (BAC), with its education and training programmes in the municipality has, to a large extent helped reduce the poverty levels among entrepreneurs. This was observed in increased outputs, incomes and levels of savings among the respondents. This paper explores how various factors related to attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behaviour control as indicted by the theory of planned behaviour affect stock market participation (SMP) in the emerging market of Egypt. The aim of this paper is to study how the influence of factors as financial literacy, risk, influence of others, confidence in the regulator among others, affect consumers’ investment decision to participate in the stock market. A pilot study when combined with literature review revealed eight factors that might affect the investors’ intention and behaviour in the Egyptian stock market. The study then apply TPB to develop a comprehensive model to include the most important factors that may have a strong potential to enhance the equity holding behaviour and explain SMP in the emerging market of Egypt; a market with a lot of potential but rarely studied. This model can be further tested across different developing markets as well. The study concluded that investment intention could predict the actual investment in the stock market (which represents behaviour). Nevertheless, the behaviour is not determined by only those factors tested. Tools such as simulation software provide one way to explore and expand high school students’ knowledge of hydraulic fluid power systems. Traditionally, hydraulic fluid power college courses have used a physical trainer equipped with cylinders, valves and hoses that demonstrate various circuits important to the understanding of fluid flow and system characteristics. Using Simumatik3D, a free downloadable emulation software developed in Sweden, a group of high school students were able to assemble an emulated environment where they can create new hydraulic circuits, allowing them to learn outside of the classroom and preparing them for classroom activities with a real physical trainer. The software system was selected as the platform to emulate the trainer because of the ease of use, its 3D environment and the potential for future expansion into electromechanical emulations that leverage the use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Robotics.
