Matsuse","doi":"10.1109/PEDS.2007.4487695","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/PEDS.2007.4487695","url":null,"abstract":"This paper presents a detailed analysis of circuit operation under ZVS and NON-ZVS conditions in a high-frequency half-bridge inverter for a small-size and low-voltage induction cooker, using the principle of positive- negative phase-shift control over a wide control range both in positive and negative directions. A variety of modes of circuit operation with the voltage and current equations during phase-shift power control under the operating conditions of ZVS and NON-ZVS are analyzed as a first step and the output voltage and current waveforms are obtained by MATLAB program. These waveforms will be analyzed by Fourier analysis which can lead further to the calculation of ac output power Po, dc input power Pd , and hence the conversion efficiency Tj of the half-bridge inverter. The advantage of the new FCL includes simplicity in circuit and control method, low cost and high reliability. Simulations based on Psim 6 are carried out. A three-phase experimental model is constructed. The radially-laminated version of the rotor is described then a machine is developed using the theory. The algorithm is implemented and a design for a 7.5 kW machine is developed to illustrate the sizing required. The machine is of a 2/6 pole arrangement. The paper illustrates that the stator should be specially manufactured because the slots need to be able to cope with a much higher electric loading than an equivalent induction machine. The effect of the magnetic stimulation depends on the geometry and orientation of the induced electric field, as well as on the current pulse waveform delivered by the stimulator (coil). These factors are very important to define the equipment requirements and characteristics, namely the topology of the power supply and the size and geometry of the coil. The proposed solution is able to generate current pulses with variable amplitude and duration, according to a user- defined input. The main characteristics and the working principle, including the strategy of control, are described. In order to design, to analyse and to verify the performance of the developed power supply, both simulation and experimental results are presented. The proposed solution is based on a topology that uses elements to store and transfer energy from the power source to the load. In this case, the VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) is used as A/D signal converter because it has superior response and is low cost. However, prior attempts to improve the transient response have been inconclusive because this model depends on the steady-state analysis. This paper presents a new model control method of switching dc-dc converter to improve the dynamic characteristics. Furthermore, the relationship between the parameters of control circuit and the dynamic characteristics is discussed. As a result, it is seen that the dc-dc converter with a new model control has a superior transient response compared with that of the conventional control. In this paper, SINm(omegat) waveforms represent non-sinusoidal waveforms because studies on SINm(omegat) waveforms appear to be simpler for more predictable results. A flux analysis of three-phase transformer for inrush current is proposed in this paper.
