The main consequence of population aging is mainly the new challenges in the treatment of pathologies resulting from advancing age and how to treat our new elderly. Among the existing geriatric diseases, the occurrence of Urinary Incontinence (UI) and Fecal Incontinence (FI) is common, representing a challenge to health professionals, especially nursing. Given this scenario, how prepared is the nursing team to face these pathologies? Objective: To analyze the knowledge of nurses in the identification of Urinary and Fecal Incontinence in institutionalized elderly people. Method: this is a cross-sectional and descriptive research, with quantitative analysis. It was carried out in a Long-Term Care Institution for the Elderly with nurses, who agreed to participate in the research. Data collection took place in the first week of September 2023, on alternating days and shifts to include all employees of the institution. The data were organized in tables and imported into an Excel file for analysis by the researchers. Results: The sociodemographic results showed that most of the team was composed of nurses with more than 5 years of training, more than 10 years of work experience, and the vast majority did not have postgraduate, master's or doctoral degrees. The specific results showed that most nurses recognize FI and IA, but do not recognize the role of nurses in intervening in the pathological process, considering it as normal due to advancing age. Conclusion : Nurses are involved daily in daily practices aimed at institutionalized elderly people, making it important to have a qualified stomatherapist who can assist in conducting FI and IU. In addition, the need for research to strengthen this theme is highlighted.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"36 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141687861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The species grown were herbs, shrubs and medicinal trees of various species, both native and exotic. Nineteen species were cultivated by 20 students from the Ovídio Dias de Souza State School who took part in the practicals at the school. It was observed that the fact that the majority of the students reported a preference for using medicinal plants, perhaps due to the lack of any other way of maintaining or recovering their health, is, in a way, a positive aspect, because as well as strengthening traditional practices regarding the use and traditional knowledge of medicinal plants, it is an activity that values the preservation of the local flora.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"2 1‐5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141686757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the particular case of the oil industry, one of the biggest environmental catastrophes that can happen are large oil spills, where to reduce or minimize the environmental damage caused, various cleaning methods are used. Thus, nanocomposites aim to change the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of polymer matrices. The main focus of modifying Polyurethanes has been directed to materials science, the objective of which is to obtain particulate materials, allowing surfaces to be differentiated, reducing surface energy and increasing interlayer spacing for polymer intercalation. This particulate material, produced and modified, interspersed with the Polymer, allows us to absorb crude oil, as it is hydrophobic and, consequently, organophilic. The factors that define the degree of sorption of organic compounds are: hydrophobicity, porosity, molecular structure and volume, and the volume of the surface area of the sorbent material. Therefore, the sorbent must be wettable by the hydrophobic compound and non-wettable or slightly wettable by water. Sorbent materials must have characteristics such as a large surface area, high porosity, good oleophilic character, as well as good oil retention capacity and ease of application. Polyurethane presents several of these characteristics, making it an interesting sorbent for the oil sector. The present work studies the obtaining of these nanocomposites, using a particulate material to combat leaks or spills of hydrocarbons.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"121 17","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140985475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indigenous women face various forms of historical discrimination, and the situation is aggravated with the migrant and refugee population. This fact results in the exposure of this population to human rights violations in all everyday contexts, impacting civil, political, economic, social, cultural rights, access to justice, as well as the right to a life without violence. The study has as general objective to identify the rights of indigenous Venezuelan women in Brazil. A qualitative descriptive methodology was used, through a bibliographical review through the reading of literary works, articles, theses, and monographs that cover the object of study, as well as IOM Reports in Brazil. It is concluded that there is still much to be done, but, in the context of social assistance, in the analyzed location, the rights of Venezuelan indigenous women are being observed and the implemented actions are being improved.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"62 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141017189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a report on a classroom experience with children aged six (6) and seven (7) in which the Google Earth application is used to demonstrate how children in the literacy phase express and use geographical knowledge in a meaningful and spontaneous way in their daily lives. However, there are criticisms of the risks of romanticizing the use of information and communication technologies. That said, the step-by-step process is described, from arriving at the school to using the app, the frustration at not being able to use it in the first lesson, and the difficulty of accessing the necessary resources. The children's speeches are transcribed, their reactions as they follow and view the images that the Google Earth application makes available, during the lesson proposed and carried out. At the end, we present some images that reveal how the children express their spatial experiences in drawings. Thus, we advocate the possibility and importance that from elementary school onwards, including in literacy classes for children aged six (6) and seven (7), it is conceivable to develop activities that contribute to the construction of ideas and knowledge pertaining to the teaching of school geography with children who are at the beginning of the literacy process of their language.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"82 16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140370923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And determining how global self-esteem is associated with academic performance, according to gender and age, is an important and pertinent task in the current school context.The sample of this study consists of 1,327 participants, 711 females (53.58%), aged between 12 and 17. Physical condition was assessed using the Fitnessgram; academic performance using the arithmetic average of subjects and global self-esteem using the Rosenberg global self-esteem scale (1965), adapted by Romano, Negreiros and Martins (2007). It was found that there was no statistically significant relationship between the different physical condition groups and global self-esteem, in the overall sample and in both sexes. In the overall sample, global self-esteem is not significantly associated with academic performance. In males, the correlation is significant, positive and weak. In females, the correlation is not significant. Overall self-esteem is not related to age, in the total sample and in both sexes.The self-esteem of male participants differs statistically significantly from that of females.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"123 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140370214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: a systematic review was carried out using the Science and Pubmed platforms in the period between 2012 and 2022, where 'newborns' OR 'premature infants' AND 'congenital heart disease' OR 'congenital heart defects' OR 'congenital heart defects' were used in the search” OR “baby's heart” AND “early diagnosis” OR “prenatal diagnosis”. Successively, the articles found were selected according to the previously determined inclusion and exclusion criteria to suit the type of research. Results: after analyzing 97 articles, 23 were in the same parameters and were considered in the study, addressing exams such as ultrasound, nuchal translucency, fetal echocardiogram, genetic tests, pulse oximetry, cardiovascular physical examination and echocardiographic reassessment. Conclusion: given the assumption, it was found that prior identification of the pathological change results in a more improved and prepared therapeutic plan and better psychological acceptance by parents. Therefore, the importance of disseminating the various methods available and how to perform them correctly is justified in order to make an early diagnosis of congenital heart diseases and contribute to reducing the mortality of these newborns.","PeriodicalId":166158,"journal":{"name":"International Seven Journal of Multidisciplinary","volume":"141 47","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140369073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This business seems to be becoming unsustainable for the Mexican cartels, which did not take long to move into a more lucrative business. Organized crime has diversified its criminal activities, mainly through extortion by charging \"derecho de piso\" or \"criminal tax\" to all types of businesses. In this way, criminal groups have found in extortion not only a way to regulate everything that can produce capital, but also to recover the profits that the decline in the trafficking of plant-based drugs left them with after the increase in the consumption and trafficking of synthetic drugs. Currently, the term organized crime has been used to refer to groups of people dedicated to trafficking drugs, people, kidnappings, murders, among other crimes. In addition, it has diversified its operations, entering into legal businesses to operate them illegally. Organized crime continues to advance in extortion and disappearances, there is a trend in the disappearance of men to force them to join organized crime and in the case of women to take them to the trafficking market. Extortion and disappearances are two indicators where there is a 45% increase in complaints. Criminal groups have affected the food supply chain, increasing the prices of basic products such as tomatoes, serrano peppers, lemons, corn and avocados. In addition, they have made inroads into the fishing, transportation and other sectors, generating losses in the millions and affecting the daily lives of Mexicans, with an increase in violence and insecurity. All these illegal activities related to the financing of organized crime structures with high economic profitability and with links to different types of violence and corruption, is what is called criminal economy.
