Its vagueness can generate problems of adjustment when it comes to understanding its ultimate objective and, above all, generate confusion in the investigations that use it to generate healthy behavior patterns. The dimensions on which the concept of healthy lifestyle is based are in themselves very disparate, intervening behaviors and actions executable, emotions, cognitions and perceptions, which makes its functionality much more complex and controversial when it comes to agreeing on its final content. Risk perception in lifestyle is intimately linked to the concept of perceived psychosocial vulnerability, because it is a concept that varies according to age and has a direct impact on psychosocial factors that affect lifestyle such as susceptibility, adaptation, coping and resilience. Our goal is to narrow and delimit the concept of healthy lifestyle from a theoretical perspective, so that a construct so widely used in psychology and health research can be addressed more objectively, with agreed parameters and taking into account its dimensions and the perception that people have of it.","PeriodicalId":165287,"journal":{"name":"Psychology & Psychological Research International Journal","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125773894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the many threats and challenges faced by teachers during and post pandemic teaching, their mental health and well-being remains at risk. While more attention has been placed on students over the past three years, less research has been done on the impact of COVID-19 on teachers well-being and the possible strategies and measures that need to be taken to prevent depression, anxiety or mental health problems among teachers. This review takes a look at recent studies on mental well-being among teachers during and post pandemic to highlight the necessary strategies and positive psychological measures that need to be taken to prevent poor mental health during these challenging times and help teachers successfully overcome these obstacles and improve their psychological well-being.","PeriodicalId":165287,"journal":{"name":"Psychology & Psychological Research International Journal","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131126135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To address clinical symptoms, various treatments have been proposed: pharmacological and non-pharmacological intervention based on an individualized treatment program. As for non-pharmacological intervention it is possible to find many researches evaluating music therapy or music interventions on FM patients. Therefore, the aim of this review was to observe the findings of the available music therapy interventions in FM and to portrait a state-of-the-art on the subject. To identify suitable publications, an online search of PubMed database was conducted with the following keywords: “Music therapy”, “Music”, “Music intervention” and “Fibromyalgia”. We therefore selected only the experimental studies containing music therapy for FM patients. Amongst the twelve analyzed studies the majority of them have successfully applied music therapy, showing a positive improvement of quality of life and pain reduction. Moreover, as far as instruments uniformity between the studies is concerned, measurement of pain is fairly uniform; on the contrary, we detect heterogeneity concerning other measures. Furthermore, future studies, including in the intervention protocol a music preference questionnaire, are needed to personalize the participants experience and increase adherence to the intervention. For future research, we highlight the relevance of a defined music therapy protocol, also in the form of passive listening, possibly in agreement with the World Federation of Music Therapy guidelines on music therapy interventions.","PeriodicalId":165287,"journal":{"name":"Psychology & Psychological Research International Journal","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121828593","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
