Due to the large number and especially the weight of passing vehicles, roads are in critical condition and need more and more investments for their repair. This incurs significant costs for road operators. Article goals are the visual classification of passing vehicles over the tested platform using neural networks. The differences, performance and their structures comparisons of these two neural networks, AlexNet and GoogLeNet, will be described.","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"166 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124640238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Austenitic stainless steel of grade AISI 316L is investigated by the eddy current method. Harmonic excitation is used for driving of the exciting coils. Presented fatigue cracks are induced by the three-point bending of the plates on the cycling machine with predefined loading process parameters. The gained response signals of the investigated regions of interest are graphically presented and discussed in the article.","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130203210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering the above, deepening all aspects related to the precise estimation of the state of charge (SOC) of a battery becomes extremely important. In this work, a real-time estimation algorithm including a PI-based observer and an equivalent circuit model (ECM), is improved exploiting the SOC dependence on the open circuit voltage (OCV). Particularly, it is described how the SOC can be reliably deduced from relaxation voltage in a short time thanks to a prediction function. The integration of such function into the PI-based observer allows to get a good trade-off between accuracy and complexity.","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130204885","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many methods for describing it have already been developed. The available methods do not meet every requirement from clinical practice. This paper presents technical concept of new method for measuring mechanical properties of human skin with aim for usage in clinical conditions. The emphasis during development is put on availability even during procedures and fast measurements results above precision and complexion. The paper then presents design of the device called \"elastometer\" we developed and presents results of measurements on plastic samples as well as human skin. Measuring of samples suggests that this new simple method is comparable with the more complex ones. The goal is to present this new concept to readers and to prove potential of this concept for future development. More on the topic can be found in theses which led to this paper [1], [2] (in czech).","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122517269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

WiM is a dynamic vehicle weighing system for continuous traffic for protection of road infrastructure. The sensor is based on low-coherence interferometry of two modes. Applying the force (load) on fiber in test arm (its optical path is shorter than optical path of fiber placed in reference arm) of interferometer changes visibility of interference pattern. The design of deforming environment is also investigated. In addition, the sensor can be designed to be temperature independent.","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124036645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Information about the depth helps with a better understanding and description of the scene. As a practical matter, we aim to convert the geometrical information about the object to the digital format with the highest possible accuracy. For such a conversion there are many existing methods of creating a 3D model, e.g. photogrammetry, laser scanners. These methods provide high-quality 3D information; however, they are high-priced and often limited by the size of both scanner and object and the scanning time. As an alternative, we present an optical depth sensor that can be used excluding other emerging disadvantages with lower quality of an output model though. In the future, we consider the usage of the selected sensor for specific biomedical application: diagnostic support of obstructive sleep apnea.","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"32 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127838311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the geometry of the inductor and charge are known together with the frequency of the field current, the input variables are represented by electromagnetic and thermal properties of the charge (nonlinear saturation curve, temperature dependence of its magnetic permeability and temperature dependencies of electric and thermal conductivities and specific heat capacity). The methodology is illustrated with a typical example.","PeriodicalId":165069,"journal":{"name":"2020 ELEKTRO","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127374120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
