Some of these people, are university students, reason why those technologies can be used in education. In present work, the use of Facebook API in the development of a web application, is presented. This application allows to share class related content, to set challenges, peer evaluation activities and others. The purpose of the application is to support professor in teaching-learning process, using a gamification technique helping in the acquisition of knowledge taking advantage of the ludic approach of the technique, generating a positive experience in the students. The combination of the above and the use of one of the favorite social networks motivates students, generating a greater commitment to the subject. The development of the software application included the use of PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap and MySQL. For its construction, work has been done through a methodology based on best software engineering practices, developing various modules that integrated achieve the functionality required to function as information management and analysis platform. The antecedents found allowed to determine that before the approach of this platform, there was only generalized software, adaptable with some difficulties, destined to the application of exams, distant from the raised vision of a platform for data exploration. With its incorporation into the automation and control techniques that make up home automation, it is sought to integrate in a network the devices that operate in a space, generating a constant exchange of information. An access control system that integrates IoT is presented, as a tool to manage records in real time. The device in turn stores a database with the access profile of each user, whose parameters allow the establishment of entry times, defined by the administrator. With its implementation, a secure space is generated, where each access that is presented is registered in the IoT server, as well as the profile of the user that has entered. The security method used operates through a numeric keypad, a technique that, due to its effectiveness, is commonly used in a large part of digital systems, in addition to its low implementation cost. Vázquez-López, Christian Galicia-García, Octavio Sánchez Delgado","doi":"10.35429/jitc.2019.7.3.19.29","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35429/jitc.2019.7.3.19.29","url":null,"abstract":"This research aims to identify the impact of Information Technology through the use of Google Classroom Platform in the teaching-learning process, it also aims to strengthen and develop digital skills in students of the different Educational Programs (EP), both at the undergraduate level and at engineering level of the Technological University of Tehuacán (UTT), in addition, it is sought to identify how Classroom Platform supports teaching tasks such as: speeding the delivery, reception and grading of various activities generated by the teacher with every group. For this purpose, two measuring instruments were digitally applied (Google Forms survey). This one is applied to students, taking a representative sample of the groups of each EP (seven) in both educational levels (undergraduate and engineering level). Another instrument was applied to a representative sample of teachers of the school.
