Kurangnya pengetahuan petani mengenai jenis patogen yang menyerang tanaman melon menyebabkan sering terjadinya kesalahan dalam pengendalian tanaman yang terserang penyakit. Untuk itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahuntuk mengetahui patogen apa saja yang menyerang tanaman melon. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Srikoncoro, Blok 7, Pondok Kelapa, Bengkulu pada Januari–Februari 2021. Bahan yang digunakan adalah jaringan tanaman melon yang bergejala. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan diduga bahwa cendawan yang terdapat pada tanaman melon yang telah dibiakkan pada media PDA selama kurang lebih 3-4 hari adalah dari jenis Fusarium oxysporium. Fusarium oxysporium merupakan cendawan patogen tular tanah, yang dapat menyerang bagian akar tanaman dan merusak jaringan pembuluh pada tanaman. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan cendawan tumbuh membentuk makrokonidia bersekat dengan ujung meruncing. Keberadaan Episcia cupreata (Hook.) Hanst. telah terekam sebelumnya di Indonesia, yaitu di pulau Jawa tahun 1965 dan Sulawesi tahun 2018 sebagai tanaman hias. Eksplorasi botani yang dilakukan di Desa Tenggulun, Aceh Tamiang, menunjukkan adanya populasi E. cupreata ternaturalisasi di Sumatra yang belum pernah tercatat sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melaporkan keberadaan E. cupreata yang merupakan rekor tumbuhan asing baru untuk Flora Sumatra. Pengamatan dilakukan menggunakan metode jelajah. This research was conducted using factorial of complete randomized design with 2 treatment. The first factor with 6 arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal treatments. The second factor with 4 corn varieties. Data was analyzed statistically with the F-test at the 5% significance level, significant differences were further tested using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test also at 5% level. The dose 25 grams of FMA is the best dose for growth of all varieties tested. The results of the correlation analysis indicate that the increase or decrease in the percentage of roots infected by FMA during the vegetative period will greatly affect the percentage of roots infected by FMA during harvesting. Fungi endofit dapat ditemukan hampir disemua jenis tumbuhan, termasuk tumbuhan mangrove. Salah satu jenis mangrove yang tumbuh subur dikawasan Kuala Langsa adalah Rhizophora apiculata Blume. Studi ini bertujuan (1) menginventarisasi jumlah fungi endofit pada sampel daun dan ranting mangrove (2) mengidentifikasi jenis/spesies fungi endofit yang terdapat pada daun dan ranting mangrove. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah direct planting dengan parameter pengamatan makroskopis dan mikrokopis. Penelitian berhasil mengisolasi 5 jenis fungi endofit asal R. apiculata Blume yaitu Fusarium sp, Crysosporium sp, Colletrotrihum sp, Aspergillus sp, dan Botrysphaeri sp. Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung ikan Betok (A. testudineus) di aliran sungai Batang Masang Kenagarian Bawan Kecamatan IV, Kabupaten Agam dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikan Betok (A. testudineus) adalah jenis ikan omnivora karena dalam pencernaannya didominasi oleh jenis Bacillaryophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Protozoa, Ciliata, Rotarita/Rotifera, dan Crustasea dengan 25 jenis sebanyak 5,858 ind/ml. Pakan alami fitoplankton yang mendominasi adalah pada klass Bacillaryophyceae dan zooplankton yang mendominasi adalah pada klas Crustasea. Frekuensi penyiraman yang berbeda dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan perlakuan variasi frekuensi penyiraman terhadap pertumbuhan buncis, serta menentukan frekuensi penyiraman optimal untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan buncis terbaik. Variasi frekuensi penyiraman yang diberikan yaitu 1 hari sekali, 2 hari sekali, 4 hari sekali, 6 hari sekali, dan 8 hari sekali dengan volume air 200 mL. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan analisis data menggunakan uji ANOVA, dan uji lanjut DMRT. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, lebar daun, jumlah bunga, berat basah, dan berat kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian variasi frekuensi penyiraman terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan buncis. Frekuensi penyiraman 8 hari sekali mengalami penghambatan pertumbuhan dibandingkan dengan frekuensi penyiraman 1 hari sekali terhadap semua parameter kecuali pada parameter lebar daun. Tinggi tanaman mencapai 223,72 cm pada pemberian perlakuan frekuensi penyiraman 1 hari sekali, sedangkan diameter batang mencapai 0,327 cm, demikian pula dengan jumlah daun terdapat 24 daun majemuk. Sedangkan jumlah bunga terbanyak terdapat pada perlakuan frekuensi penyiraman 2 hari sekali yaitu 2 kuntum bunga. Demikian juga berat basah total mencapai 45 gram, dan berat kering mencapai 12,6 gram pada pemberian perlakuan frekuensi penyiraman 1 kali sehari. Semakin lama frekuensi penyiraman yang diberikan, semakin menghambat pertumbuhan buncis. One of the causes of these problems is a pathogenic fungus that causes disease in red chili plants. The exploratory method used in this study, namely by exploring red chili with symptoms of the disease to be taken as a sample. Plants with symptoms of the disease are then taken to the laboratory to do it yourself and find out the pathogenic fungi. From the results of this study obtained five types of pathogenic fungi in red chili. Pathogenic fungi found in this study included Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., Colletotrichum sp., Phytophtora sp., and Cercospora sp. and 5 red chili diseases. Keywords: Red chilies (Capsicum annuum L.), lowlands, pathogenic fungi. ABSTRAK:Permasalahan dalam membudidayakan cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) menjadi hambatan bagi petani untuk memperoleh hasil panen yang baik. Salah satu penyebab dari permasalahan tersebut adalah jamur patogen yang menyebabkan penyakit pada tanaman cabai merah. Metode eksplorasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni dengan mengeksplorasi cabai merah bergejala penyakit untuk diambil sebagai sampel. Tanaman yang bergejala penyakit kemudian dibawa ke laboratorium untuk dilakukan isolasi dan identifikasi jamur patogen. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh lima jenis jamur patogen pada cabai merah. Jamur patogen yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., Colletotrichum sp., Phytophtora sp., dan Cercospora sp. dan 5 penyakit cabai merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keanekaragaman teripang (Holothuroidae) di perairan Kampung Folley Distrik Misool Timur kabupaten Raja Ampat. Lokasi penelitian yang terdiri dari 2 lokasi konservasi sasi teripang yaitu perairan Tanjung Vageta dan Tanjung Waponta, serta 1 lokasi di luar area konservasi yaitu Perairan Dermaga Kampung Folley. Pengambilan data pada bulan Juni-Juli 2019 dilakukan menggunakan kuadran 5x5m2 diletakkan zigzag dengan transek garis 100m sejajar garis pantai. Terdapat 7 spesies teripang di lokasi konservasi sasi yakni Holothuria scabra1, H. scabra2, H. atra, H. leucuspilota, H. impatiens, Stichopus hermanii, Synaptidae. H. scabra adalah yang terbanyak di area konservasi sasi dan merupakan komoditas penting bagi masyarakat lokal. This endemic plant has unique characteristics and has various kinds of modifications that differentiate it from other plants. However, this largest-flower plant is classified as an endangered plant. It is due to its limited life cycle and distribution area. Many kinds of habitat destruction caused by human activities also threaten the existence of this endemic plant. Besides, it is highly dependent on the presence of its host plant, Tetrastigma sp. Therefore, conservation actions are needed. Conservation is implemented through in-situ or ex-situ conservation.
